Two werewolves under the stars
@Olivia Williams
Hogwarts was so beautiful when night fell. At home, I loved to walk outside after dark; I loved walking under the stars. I had always been a loner as a werewolf; apart from Mom, I didn't know anyone else. Sometimes I even wondered if we were the only wolves in the world. Lost in thought, I gazed at the stars above me. Accustomed to observing them during full moons, I had grown to enjoy watching them every night. Hogwarts, was so beautiful and I had already found the path leading up to the stars. Mom told me that if I looked at the stars while thinking of her, she would sense it and think of me in return. Even though I didn't want to admit it to myself, I missed home.
The astronomy tower was almost on the opposite side of town from my dorm, but we were allowed to leave our common rooms until curfew was declared, which was at nightfall. It was 7 p.m., and the stars, despite the clear September sky, were already visible. The air was mild, and it was pleasant to still be outside. The sun was setting and was turning the scars on my face red.

It was late, not that late but still late. The sun was setting and it was reflected in the lake. It was boring to sit inside when the weather was so fantastic. Olivia put on a knitted sweater and went outside. The school grounds were empty. People probably had to study or they didn't want to risk being out too late. Curfew was approaching.
Olivia couldn't understand how she had ended up at the foot of the astronomy tower. Good view from up there. She pushed on the door with one foot. It opened. Olivia looked around for a teacher but the school grounds were still empty. She went up. Her steps echoed on the stairs.
But when she got up, she stopped abruptly. There was someone there. But she didn't need to worry, it was a student Olivia thought she remembered was in Gryffindor. Olivia walked up to the girl who was standing by the railing, deep in thought. “Hi,” Olivia said, quite low, she didn’t want to be startled. “It’s certainly a good view.”
She turned to the girl. “My name is Olivia,” Olivia introduced herself. “And what’s your name?” she asked, then smiled a little. It was a very beautiful evening.

Two werewolves under the stars
No need to turn around; even before the person reached me, I heard them coming up the stairs. Thank goodness for my super-sensitive werewolf hearing! The person stopped dead in their tracks. I sniffed the air. They smelled like the Gryffindor common room. So, this person was from my house. They approached me and introduced themselves in a whisper so as not to frighten me. Their name was Olivia, and they told me the view was magnificent. They weren't wrong. I was about to turn to introduce myself when I remembered that all my scars were glowing red. I hesitated for a moment before frowning. This girl gave off the same scent as me, a scent masked by the smell of outside and the fireplace, but still noticeable. I turned to her and introduced myself.
"My name is Tenebra, Tenebra Lowfa. Pleased to meet you. Do you enjoy watching sunsets?"
I turned back to the landscape. It was so peaceful. I let the silence settle over the tall tower for a few minutes, then I finally wanted to know what I almost already knew.
"Hmm, excuse me, but You're a Gryffindor, aren't you? I think I've seen you in my common room before? "
