Primeira aula de feitiços (First spell class)
Harry was excited for his first Charms class, his favorite subject. He would finally learn to cast and channel his magic in a practical way. He walked a long way to the Charms classroom with some friends he had met days before in other parts of the school. He carried his wand, quill, books, and parchments in a suitcase on his back. They made the long walk through the castle minutes before class began, climbed the stairs, and finally arrived at the classroom where the professor was. Harry didn't know her; her name was foreign but not too strange. She came from France and was a kind and enthusiastic person. Harry internally nicknamed her Zoe. She gave a long introduction. Harry maintained his silent and analytical posture, attentive to her every word. Her introduction was truly enchanting. He observed her and remembered her words. Around the round room were several desks lined up together. He looked at some of the Slytherin students further away, laughing amongst themselves and interacting little with the students from the other houses. Some of the Hufflepuffs were more animated, while the Gryffindors were... A mixture of attention and distraction, and the Ravenclaws, unsurprisingly, seemed to pay attention only to the professor.
Harry spent most of the time taking notes on the professor's words, especially the descriptions of the spells and fundamental parts of their execution. He chatted a little with his housemates and others he already spoke to, and obviously with the professor, whose questions he answered, questions he had accumulated over years of reading books on magic and spells, despite a critical eye regarding some of the information described, but of course, always keeping quiet about it.
That day he learned his first spells and began to practice and theorize about other ways to perform them in many forms. At the end of the class, he gave a great presentation of magical potential with a practical but somewhat simple task. He answered all the questions correctly with impeccable spelling. After the class ended, he barely spoke, spending the entire time thinking about the spells and how they could be manipulated and improved.

I enjoyed Charms, as such spells would become part of everyday life. I entered calmly with some other Slytherins I did not pay attention to, as I haven't really talked to them, more focused in class than anything. I watch the Ravenclaw boy participate constantly with the professor, and I can't help but envy him. He seemed happy with the house the Hat chose for him, while I am yet to fully comprehend why Slytherin over Ravenclaw. I pack up as I notice him asking the professor incessantly about charms, and I can't help but be curious. After all, he seems more than capable. More than smart enough.
I look behind me, where the door is and most are already leaving the classroom.
It wouldn't be good to ignore him. But I wouldn't want to befriend him just because of charms. Maybe befirend is too strong of a word. I could use learning from someone like him.
"Why did you demonstrate at the end of the class?" I ask him as I walk over to be behind him as he picks up his things, lightly tapping the strap of my messenger bag as I wait from an answer, probably too impatient as I start doing it before asking him.

Harry was finishing packing the rest of his things to go to his next class. He noticed, while talking to his teacher, that a girl had observed him talking about spell theories. The girl approached him; he remembered her name, Carina Rossi. She had been called by the teacher, and Harry memorized her name. She was from Slytherin, one of the houses Harry was already familiar with.
"Why did you do the demonstration at the end of class?" Carina asked, looking intrigued. "Hello Carina! Well, I wanted to review with Professor Catherine the best way to perform a spell, what one should imagine and think about. "When you execute it, you understand? This kind of thing fascinates me because it allows for a more powerful execution," Harry replied excitedly. He liked it when people asked him why he did certain things; he always wanted to share his theories and techniques with others. "And you, what did you think of today's class? " Harry wanted to start a conversation. They both had a long walk to their next potions class, which they were heading to about 30 minutes early to avoid being late.
Harry took advantage of the time and used it strategically to get to know the girl better and maybe start another friendship.
"So? Are you enjoying school?"
