Edward got a taste of his own medicine as he was hit by Julia's Tarantallegra, luckily just before he had gotten off another Incendio of his own - this one setting her robes alight just as his legs began moving of their own accord as if in a tango - Julia was a smart opponent clearly she picked up on his strategy and determined to use it against him, it made him feel a bit better to think so anyway, as clearly she saw value in using his own strategy against him; but he couldn't underestimate her now, the duel suddenly went from favoring him to win to an even match again - he couldn't let up now!
~~~~ And so with those thoughts, and a look of fierce determination, he cast yet another spell, this time narrowing his eyes a bit as he did so in a fierce concentration, perhaps trying to offset the movements of his feet which were still distracting him... he knew he had to focus if he were to triumph this time. |

𝕵ulia smirked. Her dancing spell had been casted beautifully, and there was no way Edward could have dodged. The moment the spell hit him, his feet started moving without consent and launched into a Tango. "Nice tango, Bishop!" Avery called out from where she stood. The moderator looked like she wanted to laugh, but probably knew better. As long as Julia knew, moderators were supposed to stay neutral. Edward, likely feeling a little agitated, retaliated fast. His fire making spell, Incendio, soared towards Julia, smooth as a bird and hit her. Hard. The Ravenclaw grimaced as she felt her robes catch on fire. Luckily, the spell wasn't perfect, so unless Julia was wrong (She rarely was), she would only be aflame until the next round. "Ouch! That looked like it hurt! You alright there, Evans?" Avery asked her voice holding a bit of concern. She would have replied, but staying focused mattered more. It mattered most. So she gave a slight nod, throwing in a forced smile, and turned her focus back to the duel. It looked like none of them were going to back down, at least she certainly wasn't, and she would rather Edward didn't either. Julia, unlike many, preferred, true, pure victory, not just one where the opponent backed down. She risked a glance at Avery while trying to choose a spell. It looked like the second year was rather enjoying the duel. Her expression held a mix of amusement and confusion, and if she had read right, a bit of... admiration? Julia shook her head, and moved her focus to Edward, who looked determined while trying to focus. The First Year let out a small giggle upon seeing his feet move, then blushed and mumbled a small sorry. Finally Avery said "Alright, nice work! Round 4 will begin whenever you're ready!". And upon hearing this. Julia's smirk returned. Her spell was quite underrated, but when succeeded, Edward wouldn't know what hit him. All favours of the duel, would shift to her.

Date : Unknownth, 2026 Word Count: : 239 Edward was still doing his tango. That gave Julia just enough chance to take another hit at the young badger. The sparks of green that jutted from her wand were no match for Edward. They hit him square in the chest as he continued to dance. "Yikes! That's got to have hurt!" Avery called out.
Then it was Edward's turn to get his revenge. His Flipendo was decent, but would it be enough to hit Julia? In fact, it was. The spell hit Julia hard nearly knocking her to the ground, but she didn't fall. Avery was impressed that the girl withstood such a harsh attack. "Nice work standing that, Evans!" Avery called out again. Encouragement she had learned in the past helped keep the players motivated. Even if they weren't doing too well.
Julia was looking rough. Edward had hammered her in the duel and it was only a matter of time before the girl collapsed from exhaustion or was rendered unconscious by his plethora of attack spells. Though Avery had the feeling that the girl would put up a good fight. She had done that so far, and Avery felt as if both had a trick up their sleeve they were just itching to let free but instead had to wait for the perfect time.
"Alright! Round five will begin whenever you're ready!" Avery spoke loudly so she could be heard over the sounds of crackling spells.

But for now he knew that he couldn't let his emotions or daydreaming of what awaits his future, because the most important moment at this very moment was the right here and now, he was still in this duel and now that things were heated up - quite literally - either duelist could still win - and he was determined to be that winner... but he knew he needed to keep his cool and think logically not emotionally if that was going to be the case, he certainly knew that his Ravenclaw opponent would be doing the same either way...

𝕵ulia sighed, her expression a mix of relief and happiness. Julia had casted her Green Sparks charm, Verdimillious moment the round started, and it had hit Edward perfectly. He was still doing his tango when the green light hit him in the chest. Ouch, that gotta hurt She thought, no feeling particularly sorry about it. Even Edward had hit her with a plethora of spells. Now, his aim would be the most messed up one yet. He would now have to squint to even see her let alone aim another spell in her direction. She smiled gleefully, but her happiness was short lived as Edward's flipendo came soaring, nearly knocking her off her feet, but she stood her ground. Avery called out encouragement, but Julia knew the end of the duel was nearing. It was either Edward wiping her out, or she weakening him enough by the end. She would've chosen option B any day. Julia stood, back in her duelling stance, a sudden rush of adrenaline helping. Her next spell would matter more than anything. Her mind worked faster than light, weighing her options. Edward was just as much of a thinker, and Ravenclaw, as he was a Hufflepuff. He would be smart in his strategising, no doubt, and she had to be too. Calm and controlled. Thats what she would be. Only her spells would betray the first year's true emotions. Anger, revenge, everything. A smile creeped up on her face, along with a spell. This had to work. It still wasn't over.
