It was a warm spring day at Hogwarts. Caroline felt like she needed to go study for her potions homework. She went to the library, took some books and sat down. She looked to the person sitting next to her. She could tell he was a Slytherin because of his green robes. Caroline debated on whether she should say hi. Finally she went with yes. She said, "Hi i'm Caroline Davis. What is your name? She could tell that he was surprised so she felt embarrassed. "Sorry, I just get excited when I meet new people," she said. She went back to reading but kept thinking about the boy. "Maybe I will ask him what his name is if he says anything," she thought. Finally after thinking for a couple of minutes she went back to reading. She read all five books just in a couple of minutes and thought to herself, " Maybe if stay here longer he will say something or he will leave before me and I won't make a new friend." She went to the bookshelves to get a couple more books for potions and then got a couple books for herbology. To her relief when she got there the boy was still there.
