Well, Well, Well. We Meet Again
Anirudh waved back at his father one last time. He had hoped that his mother would come, but alas, she was busy. The last few days had been a magical blur, and he had hoped that his mother would come to give him (as his father called her) "muggle" comfort. Just when he thought that he had had enough, he had to walk through a wall at King's Cross station. He looked down the aisle and found the train compartments on the right. He walked down the aisle and found each compartment filled with people. "Oh great," he thought, "People." He hadn't met many magical people, but the ones that he had met had been very hard to talk to. All except two. Most people (mostly adults) would shake his hand, look at him for a few seconds, and then move on to his father. All except two. Most people would speak of his father's great achievements as an auror. All except two. Anirudh looked to the left. Finally, there was a single empty compartment. He opened the door and then sat down. "Where are those idiots?" he thought to himself. Those two people happened to be Ethan Young and Zio Richardson, two Hogwarts students whom he had met in Diagon Alley. They had promised to meet on the Hogwarts Express. Anirudh peered out of the compartment and found Ethan Young striding down the aisle. In an instant, two grins were painted on the boy's face.

The Ride
Ethan had spent 4 days convincing his mother to go to the muggle train station. It had been hard work, but he didn't think the muggles would have let him in otherwise. He wished again that his father was still alive, because being with her was torture. She was constantly remarking on his choice of friends. "That Half-Blood is a bad influence! He will normalize muggles for you until your even less pureblood than you are now!" However, he continued on, ignoring her, and walked inside the Hogwarts express. He found his best friend Anirudh fairly quickly, and as he walked in, identical grins were on their faces. They talked about what they had done in the time they had been apart. Ethan then shifted the conversation to dragons, specifically Welsh Greens, his favorite. He also told him all about the Chudley Cannons, and quidditch. He got slightly mad when Anirudh asked him why he liked them if they hadn't won since 1892. He replied that he figured it might be why everyone loved those Dallas Cowboys Anirudh had told him about. He liked them because they are amazing, despite their records. He got some food from the trolly, and knew it was going to be a good day.

The few hours on the train were the best hours of Anirudh's life. His belly was full of sweets, and he was sure that Ethan was also stuffed. One of the only things that Anirudh's dad hadn't shown to him were magical sweets. Anirudh was intrigued that each sweet seemed to have its own personality. He looked out the window and found that the landscape had undergone a dramatic change. This could only mean one thing. "We'll be there soon," Ethan said. Ethan then crossed his arms and laid his feet on the seat next to him. The train soon began to stop, as Ethan had predicted. Anirudh began to stand up and grab his trunk when one final thought crossed his mind. "Where is Zio?" he asked Ethan. They had had so much fun that they had forgotten about Zio. Ethan took the words in and then positioned his face into a pondering look. The train suddenly lurched forward and then came to a stop. The trunk Anirudh was trying to grab fell onto his seat. The conversation that Ethan and Anirudh had had could not continue, for a teacher had appeared to guide them to Hogwarts. Anirudh and Ethan stepped out of the train. Once they were out of the train, they looked towards a great lake, and then a great castle. There before them stood Hogwarts.
