The curiosity of a Redhead Closed

Sage couldn't remember ever hanging out in the courtyard where a lot of other people did. She needed new friends and she needed to move on with her life despite everything she'd already gone through. For the most part she was okay, besides when her short term boyfriend had disappeared. She figured he just went home, or he was just really good at avoiding her. Looking a bit sad, Sage went over to the isles and sat down underneath an archway, looking out at the beautiful scenery of trees and a bright blue sky. For now she was alone, since she didn't see anybody else, she decided to sit there and think things over about how she was going to convince her parents that she's their daughter too despite being different.

Tons of things came to her mind as she sighed softly and looked around. She was quite excited for Spring and Summer, as they were her favorite seasons, especially Spring. Everything would begin to bloom and grow again. Sage loved cherry blossom trees. The colors of the tree were so nice and warm that they were a comfort for her, especially since she has one in her parents front yard at home. She hoped she could find one around here too. After a while, Sage felt relaxed and began to hum a little lullaby as she opened her bag and took out one of her school books, she decided to read it just because, plus it meant extra studying and knowledge. Her observations showed that not a lot of kids here do that, and of course it increased her chances of probably not making very many friends, she didn't care.
