nope~ actually 饺子 jiaozi is the Chinese for dumplings 水饺is like water dumplings if translated one character by another, then 煎饺is fried dumplings, 馄饨 is wonton

Is 饺 dumpling? or rather jiaozi

asking because you listed two characters and the ones you say are dumplings have one thing in common with each

ooh umm I suppose dumpling is similar to jiaozi in Chinese? Like we always translate 饺子 into dumpling while 饺子's Chinese pronunciation is jiaozi

Besides English, I know how to speak 2 other languages, Kannada and Telugu. And I can speak broken Hindi….

I know it might be hard to learn Chinese. I am trying to write a Chinese textbook in the shelves, but my progress is slow (just finished two lessons...) I can only speak Chinese and English

Besides English, I can speak Hindi, broken Gujarati.....

Besides English, I can read and understand Italian but I can’t speak it if that makes sense… same thing with Finnish
