Olivia made her way to the 2nd Charms lesson of the week. She would be lying if she said she wasn't excited, she throughly enjoyed Charms, there was always something new to learn, and who dosen't want to learn and perfect spells. That was the whole point of magic to make life easier and way more fun, well in her mind anyway. However, the Hufflepuffs shared thier charms lesson with the Ravenclaws and she couldn't stand them. They always seemed to know the answers, therfore got more points then them. But what did you expect when they weren't even giving the Hufflepuffs a chance to answer.
Unfortunately, on this particular day her friends had decided to come a little later as they wanted to get some homework done for their other lesson. But as Olivia had no work left to do, she was now walking alone to charms class. She entered the classroom which was beautifuly decorated and looked around the room, for any familar faces or empty seats away from the Ravenclaws, most of the Ravenclaws were already inside and seated. For once she wasn't sure where to sit and the professor was waiting impatiently to get the lesson started.
Olivia quickly took the closest seat to her and it so happened to be a Ravenclaw girl with dark brown long hair, dark red dyed highlights, rosey cheeks and she was wearing a lot of accessories. She seemed a little different, maybe she should try and make a new friend or at least get to know more people, what was the harm in that? "Hey, i'm Olivia," she introduced, "Love the accessories," she complimented, "How are you liking Charms class so far?" she asked as the lesson seemed to begin.

Friends?

Is the second Charms lesson of the week and Marina made her way to class early as usual, she didn't have many friends so she chose to go earlier to study a bit before class.
Charms was her favorite class and she loved to answer as many questions as possible but the thing is that Ravenclaws had to share the class with the Hufflepuffs and there always seem to be a rivalry for some reason she didn't know.
As soon as she entered the class she sat down furthest away from the other students and started going over the last lesson. She loved studying before class because it was easier to answer the questions in the lesson.
After some time when the lesson was soon to start she felt someone sit down next to her and when she looked up she saw a girl with brown shoulder length curly hair, hazel eyes and light freckels, Olivia Cuthburt, she saw her around before and herd her name from her friends.
Marina thought "She's talking to me? she seems nice."and then introduced''uh...hii, i'm Marina" then thanked for the compliment "Thank you" and answered "i've been loving charms class... What about you?"

Olivia smiled, she enjoyed meeting new people and this Ravenclaw seemed shy and welcoming, "Same here, don't you find it cool that we have magic to do everything for us," she said happily as she took down notes. Being a half blood and growing up in the muggle world meant that she was not exposed to a great deal of magic, she knew about it and saw her mother preform some time to time, which always left her in awe.
She paused as she thought about the Ravenclaw girl next to her. Marina, she thought, she had heard of her a little in class. Shoot she's a pureblood, that was a stupid statement to say how embrassing. Olivia was great at socialising but multitasking not so much. "You must be used it magic though, so all this wouldn't make a huge difference in your life" she quickly stated hoping Marina didn't catch on to her mistake.
Just then the professor asked for a volunteer and almost immediately 6 Ravenclaws shot thier hands up. Olivia rolled her eyes as one of them got picked, "More points to Ravenclaw" she muttered bitterly. Olivia wasn't one to really care about classes and rules but if something became competitive she was intrested, it was just a shame she didn't have as much magical knowledge as the purebloods.

As the lesson starts they start writing.
She glanced at Olivia as she said that, life as a pure blood wasn't so cool, being forced to practice magic as soon as she learned to speak wasn't so fun as a child. but as she was about to answer Olivia stated that and she thought to herself 'oh she knows i'm a pure blood? does she hate me now? i really hope she doesn't hate me.'
Then she replys kinda insecure now ''Oh um...yeah i guess it didn't..."
As the lesson continued she took her notes in quiet, highlighting words, writing in different colored pens, doing little drawings to make her notes look prettier, rising her hand answering questions, it was peaceful, where she felt good even without her friends.
But when the professor asked for a volunteer she didn't rise her hand as her other ravenclaw classmates because of he social anxiety.
Then she glanced at Olivia and noticed the eyeroll and herd what she muttered and then thought to herself 'Oh well now she must really hate me...'.
As the lesson came to an end everyone started packing, so she taped her on the shoulder an murmured softly praying Olivia doesn't think she said it in a rude way ''Hey umm.....if you ever need help studying...tell me?''

Olivia smiled, that was a kind offer and she would be able to get to know Marina more. She could tell that Marina needed a bit more time opening up and now she knew she wasn't like the other Ravenclaws. "Yeah that would be nice, do you want to do today's lessons homework together sometime?" she asked.
She wasn't one to spend much time in the library but she would do it for her. If thats what Marina liked then she would do it in order to get to know her and make her comfortable. Olivia sometimes came across a little stuck up but she was kind at heart hence why she ended up in Hufflepuff. Olivia didn't really need the help but it often worked in her benefit to have a pureblood with her, they pointed stuff out she didn’t realise increasing her understanding of the topic.
Olivia quickly packed her bag ensuring everything was in its place. She looked around and was suprised none of her friends even turned up late to the lesson. "We can go now if you want or we could walk together until we need to part ways?" she suggested. It was always nice to have someone to walk with, it just made the walk a little less shorter and sometimes even a little more entertaining.
