Harry had already anticipated the girl's surprise. He knew his idea was daring, but he decided to take the risk and trust her. He carefully considered reminding her about the challenges of entering each common room, as well as the possibility of detention. But Harry was already starting to plan each step. Would he tell her? Would he invite her to go with him? Who knows? He wasn't fully thinking about it yet because he was too preoccupied with classes and homework, not to mention all the time he had spent reading in the library. He knew the proposal was tempting and that others would soon be interested in the same.
[quote]-Oh, don't worry! I'm still planning this, but let's keep this just between us, okay? - he whispered at the end of the sentence - and if you want to know, you're invited on this future expedition. [quote]
He had planned this for years before entering school, and that's why he wouldn't give up so easily, but this certainly wasn't the only adventure he was preparing; many things, many even illicit, awaited him. Despite being rather kind and polite, Harry had a boundless spirit of discovery, and therefore not even the greatest dangers could stop him.

After the Shorting Ceremony...
Alright, you can do it.
I took a deep breath as I tried to distract my mind from the voices of everyone else.
I had to write to my dad. I had to tell him that I had been sorted already. That I was a Ravenclaw.
My dad said once that I was a prodigy, that I started reading months before the regular kids did.
My mom said that I was gifted. I always thought I was weird.
As I heard the conversations from the other kids, I felt my cheeks clush.
My mom always said that eavesdropping conversations was bad. But what was I meant to do? I didn't have my books at hand, didn't have my usual gadgets to fidget with.
Finally, food appeared.
I saw a coconut-made one and scrunched my nose. I hated coconut.
As I began eating some chicken, I thought of what was I going to do now. Get my schedule, try not to call any attention and, hopefully, don't get expelled again.
I shook my head. I couldn't get expelled now. No other school could accept me.
And my mom would be very, very disappointed.
I sighed as I took some chocolates from the table. This was going to be harder that I thought.

The Ravenclaw Table 2025-2026
The Sorting Hat which she wore on her head stood between her and the entire school. Now she was officially a student here, surrounded by tall candles that floated above him and the enormous ceiling that resembled the night sky.
The situation continued to appear as a dream.
Elise looked at the hall which was filled with students. The students from each house were talking and laughing while they celebrated the start of the year. The tables brought forth dishes which appeared from nowhere to create a feast, while the food's aroma revealed to her that she had developed a strong hunger. She took a small amount of food, yet spent more time observing the space than she spent on food. The entire atmosphere of Hogwarts created an impression of vastness through its magical ceiling and its historic stone walls and its teachers who appeared at the staff table. The appearance of confidence from older students made them seem to know all the details about their surroundings.
I guess they were new once too, she thought.
Elise standing up from the Ravenclaw table pushed her plate away after some time had passed. She wanted to see more of the castle before the night ended.
She made her way to the Great Hall doors, while she walked through the space between the long tables. She turned back to see the floating candles and the students who filled the space behind her. This was only the beginning.
Elise exited the building with a mixture of excitement and curiosity, which made her step into the corridor. She wanted to find out which part of Hogwarts she would explore first during her first nighttime adventure.

The Ravenclaw Table 2025-2026
"RAVENCLAW!" For a few moments, it felt like that word was the only sound in the huge Great Hall. Anirudh could not comprehend anything for a few seconds. Then a thousand thoughts rushed into his head. His father had very briefly explained the houses of Hogwarts. He had explained that most of his wizarding family had been sorted into Gryffindor. Anirudh had hoped that this would be his house, but now he realized that maybe Gryffindor wasn't for him. He sat down at the edge of the Ravenclaw table, where he was met with claps and cheers from the other students. He then looked at the Sorting Hat again. The last student (his friend Ethan) was finally sorted, and suddenly, the Great Hall was filled with the smells of food. Ethan was thankfully sorted into Ravenclaw, which improved Anirudh's mood. Ethan took a seat next to Anirudh, smiled, and began to ramble about his excitement. Anirudh still stayed silent and randomly nodded to whatever Ethan was saying. Anirudh looked at his plate, but didn't put anything in it. He remembered reading about Ravenclaw in his father's old Hogwarts: A History book. The book described Ravenclaw students as creative and smart. At the time, he was set on being a Gryffindor, but now he realized that Ravenclaw was the perfect house for him. As he looked around the table, he noticed that many of the students had their nose in a book. Memories of him reading under every tree in his town park flooded him. The only thing worrying him right now was his father's reaction to the news. "He'll be proud of me," he thought, " And I'm sure my brother would too." And so he filled his plate with the salad in front of him and began to speak to Ethan about his eagerness to learn about magic.

Ethan was only slightly surprised to be put in RAVENCLAW. As he walked to his table, he did, however, hear the nagging of a whining voice filling his head. Why didn't I get Gryffindor? I'm plenty noble, my wand proves it!!! And I am a blood traitor! Plus, my mom would be super mad if I were! Everything points to Gryffindor! But this was only the back of his head. The rest of it was filled with readiness. He would be a dang good Ravenclaw, he knew he would. He pulled out a book and began reading immediately. But as he did, his mind wandered. He once again was simply glad he wasn't a Hufflepuff. He had been afraid the sorting hat would put him in that worst of houses. He was glad he was a Ravenclaw. He would be with other people who would challenge his views, say smart things (Something that was in very short supply at his home), and learn alongside him. He wondered if anyone had heard of that Muggle game Anirudh had taught him. Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons, was it? No, it was Dungeons and Dragons. He was heading for a bright future, and Ravenclaw was a part of it; he knew it.

As the sorting ceremony reached its conclusion, a delicious feast presented itself to Robin's watering mouth. So much meat . . . and pies, and tarts . . . and ice cream . . .
Robin quickly regained his composure and started grabbing some roast beef and lamb chops, trying not to accidentally bump in to anybody, but also not too caring of who's sitting next to him. There's no time for chatting, it's time for stuffing his stomach.
The first bite felt like a typical nice dinner, but it only gets better. By the time Robin came back to consciousness, he had already finished his plateful, still with more room in his belly to fill. There are a lot of sweets, maybe I should try as many of those as I can first? In case I don't have enough room for them after another plate of this majestic lamb . . .
Robin started sampling all the different kinds of pies and tarts and chocolate . . . things, probably exposing to his peers that he really likes to eat. He doesn't have this much food regularly, the excitement of everything must have played a role in his binge eating. Being sorted into Ravenclaw, he started thinking about all the things he will learn at Hogwarts, all the adventures he'll experience. Fulfilling his wish of being sorted into Ravenclaw must have awakened his appetite for knowledge, which in turn expanded his physical appetite at the feast. After finishing the meal and going to his new dorm room, he will sleep, and wake up tomorrow ready to write the new chapter of his life.

By the time the sorting ceremony ended with all new students sorted to their respective houses, the applause still echoed faintly against Avali's ears. The table underneath the Ravenclaw banner glimmered beneath the floating candlelight, the silver goblets catching the warm reflection of the light as the stars drifted rather lazily in the bewitched ceiling reflecting the night sky over their heads.
Unlike the loud and jovial celebrations coming from the table of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, or that refined restrained atmosphere surrounding Slytherin, the Ravenclaw carried a different atmosphere almost entirely. Almost all students seated around her possess this curious, assessing eyes and thoughtful expressions. It was as if they were starting to make observations behind their smart minds about the new students joining their houses.
She noticed it all, of course. Especially when the stares are pointed directly at her direction. She knew that it won't take long before everyone, especially her seniors, will go watch every movement she will make just because she's an Avazando. It was like having her family all over again, but in lesser tone and more of stranger kind. But she didn't mind them as she stared at the food that magically appeared on the table.
Stares isn't new experience anymore. But that doesn't mean she can afford a mistake. Not when there are eyes watching... not when Liora's waiting around for her to make just one mistake to rat on their parents.
She stared at the ginormous amount of food presented in front of them, barely able to process its excessiveness. But she can't say the same thing to the boy beside her.
From the corner of her eye, Avali watched the boy pile roast beef onto his plate with an urgency of someone seemingly trying to stuff himself full before the winter famine. Not long after that, the lamb chops joined the pile along with potatoes... and an alarming amount of pies.
She blinked at her own empty plate, keeping her emotions down the notch. The sheer enthusiasm showed was quite fascinating, however odd that might sound.
Back at her home, dinners are gathering with the purpose of quiet performances disguised as shared meals. She can vividly picture the controlled moments, the proper placement of every utensils on the table. She can even hear the measured conversations shared by each of them in between pauses. It was that bad, even breathing loudly will get them a subtle looks of disapproval from across the table.
And yet, in this school, students act as if this were the last meal they will eat in their lives. But somehow, no one seemed horrified by the act (or maybe there is but she just can't see with how many students there is around.)
She looked at her goblet, now filled with sparkling water, and quietly took some food. It wasn't piled like the others, but it was enough for her stomach to process tonight. As the noise swells warmly against the magical stone walls, her eyes paused at an untouched dessert for a split second. It wasn't planned, but she subtly moved her hand, nudging the plate slowly to the boy beside her, not wanting to get any attention for doing so.
She quietly breathed out a relief when she felt that no one noticed what she did before she focused on her own food, acting like nothing happened at all.
It was just a small gesture but somehow, it sparked some small bit of amusement inside her. It was kind of strange, after all. Back at home, this kind of behavior will be considered embarrassing... undisciplined and improper even. Yet as she saw their actions being done so openly without any care or fear of judgement hovering above their heads, without so much of restraint shackling them to perfection, it felt... unexpectedly nice.
For the first time, she wondered if she'd have this kind of freedom as well... uncontrolled and uncaring of anything beyond what she wanted to do with her life.

The Ravenclaw Table 2025-2026
IA professor ushered a large number of students into the great hall.
Four large tables were arranged vertically, where many students were already seated. A fifth table, higher than the others and horizontally arranged, presumably accommodated the professors and the headmaster; the latter wore armor and bore wounds. The hall had no ceiling... wait, I read about this kind of ceiling. It's an enchanted ceiling, designed to look like the sky. And in addition to the ceiling, candles floated
I wasn't impressed. I was born into a wizarding family, but I don't know much about magic. But I tried to read all the books about magic which is impossible since there are so many books.
.thought back to everything I knew about Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw
Loyal? Absolutely not I don't work much; I often have detailed work and I do all the necessary work, often with my little sister but not more. So, I'm probably not an Hufflepuff.
Slytherin? No, I sometimes like to tease others, but nothing more.
Gryffindor? No, I'm not a fighter and brave... not really.
Ravenclaw, perhaps. I'm very interested in almost everything. Good result, I love to read books ,i love learning...
I was'nt nervous, and surely not about which house I would be in, but I wonder what the school year will be like.About making the right moves, saying the right words, what I teach, what people would think of me."Stop thinking about the future," my mother often says. " I make friends without being a lady, everything will be fine..." .
Suddenly, the headmaster's voice brought me back to reality. I was in the Great Hall, his speech and when he finischd his spech begun aready the Sorting Hat to sang a song .Afterwards, as is tradition, our name was called, we waited at our table, then sat down to wait before finally eating.
I look around why is everyone so nervous? I waited, watching the shy students go up the stairs, put the Sorting Hats on their heads, and then happily go to their tables .
Frankly, I find the Sorting Hat a bit odd; it chooses anything, big or small, to place you in a house. As for whether that house is the most suitable, I have no idea. But since many people have a bit of everything..
So after a very long wait, and with a ravenous hunger, he finally spoke my name: "Linda Rosselia." I remembered the steps, the gestures, and finally I went to the stairs, sat down in the chair, and waited. I was thinking of going to Ravenclaw because I was interested in learning and I loved reading. The Sorting Hat surely knows what I'm thinking, and finally, he sent me to Ravenclaws. I had to behave like a lady, so slowly, I took a step and made my way to my table, the one belonging to the…Ravenclaws.
I was so happy I had forgotten my hunger until I looked at the candles, which reminded me of lunchtime at home where Moms cook makes the best meals in the world (maybe not the best in the world), which revived my hunger . But I was still just as happy and exhausted, no doubt because the journey had been long and it was very late. I watched the students return to their tables until the headmaster finally began his speech. Exhausted, I tried to remember everything he'd said.
After his speech he said something about meals. Why did he say that? And then, delicious dishes appeared before me. My tied had vanished. , but still,I need to know who made the meals I asked a qhost who had made these delicious meals, and it said the house-elves. maid it.I read that house-elves serve their masters and are punished if they don't, but most are happy to serve them .Now that I know who made it, I tasted a little of everything,Even though Moms cook makes the best meals in the world, it was so delicious.
When my hunger subsided a bit. I observed each student at Ravenclaw. There are many kind students, but who would truly be a good friend?
Why bother making friends now? I have to get used to school, understand everything, read lots of books and memorize them. I hope some of the teacher are strict.
A boy told me about the horrible life Muggles have at school. But ....trying to empty the negative things about Muggle That's no reason for me to hate them.Say i as a conclusion.
After eating a large meal, someone led us to our dormitory, probably a prefect. He answered riddles from a door. I most write some riddles in my notebook, which I always carry with me. Imagine if I forget how a day went while I'm trying to write it down in a letter.Back to reality, I went to my room.
