A Chance Meeting pv Adohiro Moria Finished

Backdated: School year of 2019-2020 @Adohiro Moira
Percival and Adohiro meet each other in the stadium stands during a game.

Percival stood in the stadiums as he watched the two houses battle it out. The boy had been sitting before he watched Gryffindor score once more. He stood up and booed quite loudly. It was honestly laughable if his parents could see him now acting like he was raised in a barn. Though the Slytherin could hardly care as he checked the score they were currently losing and to Gryffindor no less!

Percival tightened his long scarf around himself in hopes of blocking out the March chill. Even though he was cold, he would not miss this match even if it resulted in him having a cold. The scarf felt like it was swamping him, and he wondered why people wear these as a fashion statement. The only thing he thought these scarfs were useful for was keeping out some of the cold wind.

Suddenly, a cold gust of wind hit his face not protected by the rather large scarf. He huffed slightly as his nose and cheeks burned. Percival watched the game commence with wide eyes. He hoped that Slytherin would win the game today. It would make standing in the cold much more enjoyable.

As the game got exciting again Percival jumped up from his seat once again. Though he knocked into the form of another student beside him. Percival turned quickly with a surprised look. "Oh shoot sorry about that." he said looking towards the shorter boy.

Adohiro's first week of Hogwarts was sure eventful, it was a bit crazy and of course, there were those annoying pesky immature first years along with some older students. It seemed like complete chaos for him, he actually sort of missed the old public academy in South Korea he attended before going here. He wasn't too happy about this school, he barely knew anything in this world, he was a pure blood, but he mostly focused on muggle academic classes since he attended a public muggle school. He wondered if it was done to humble himself so he wouldn't look down on the strange muggles. He would head to the pitch to properly study the flying techniques that the Quidditch players used. He needed a bit help on watching how they flew so he could be better at it. He had brought notes and a sketchbook paper to draw the body forms the players used. However, while he was walking, he felt something heavier and bigger smash into him. He would luckily only fall on his bottom. He winced from the impact, but his sketchbooks and notebooks would fall including his favorite Totoro pen that would fall below the seats in front of them! "Ouch! My pen!" He would point to the direction it went. @Percival Rainwood

Percival looked down towards the figure of a boy as he fell to the ground. The boy felt embarrassment heat the inside of his collar as he noticed a couple other students look towards them. Percival was glad when they turned around to continue to watch the game again. Though his biggest concern was the Slytherin that had fallen to the ground.

"Oh shoot sorry.." he said awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. His gaze drifted to the art supplies that now lined the bleacher stands. Remembering he should be helpful, Percival dropped down into a crouch to help the other boy pick up his fallen art supplies. He had not thought that he had hit the boy hard enough to cause his supplies to go flying. Though Percival sometimes forgot to watch his own strength, and the boy was shorter than him by a good few inches. The Slytherin scolded himself for getting too enraptured in the game. Resulting in a fellow Slytherin being pushed. The only good thing that came out of this was that the other student was not injured in the fall.

Percival handed over a few of the books that he picked up before looking towards where Adohiro was pointing. The other student was pointing towards the seats in front of them, and he could barely make out the silhouette of the pen. Percival frowned with concentration before reaching underneath to grab the pen. While he was able to grab the pen, it did make him strain to reach it.

After handing back the pen, Percival stood back up from the ground. "Sorry about that again. Guess I got a little too excited." he said rubbing his arm with a small smile. Percival stood there for a second before opening his mouth to introduce himself. "My name's Percival by the way." he said holding out his hand to help the boy up.

Adohiro watched the other boy pick up his fallen things which he would grab them up too and would see the other boy fetch his pen that fell in front of the bleachers. Luckily the pen was found and he would hear the other boy profusely apologize. He would take his warm hand and stand up after he was offered help, he would let go and brush his pants. "Thank you for helping me. I am Adohiro Moira. My name means peace within the chaos." He would introduce himself as he stuffs his belongings into his bag neatly to prevent any other disasters. It was worrisome, but he didn't look fazed. "What year are you in? Are you a first year? I think I have seen you around the school a few times." He would tell the other boy. He had gotten a few scrapes from falling, but it didn't hurt too much. It would probably hurt a bit if he sat down after injuring his bottom, but at least it was nothing serious. Thank goodness he didn't land face down,  that would be very embarrassing and everyone would probably look at him awkwardly, it would be horrible! Absolutely horrendous! @Percival Rainwood

Percival was glad to see the other boy accepted his outstretched hand. It brought a small sense of calm knowing the boy was not too upset at the fact that he had knocked the other down. Call it childish, but Percival would have been pretty upset if the other had been less than forgiving.

After Percival helped pull up the boy, he noticed his dirty blonde hair had fallen into his face. With a small huff, Percival swept his hair to the side and secured it behind his ear. "That's cool. I don't think my name means anything special." he said with a small shrug. "I do know that I was named after my Great-great grandfather." he stated with a smile.

Percival nodded as Adohiro correctly guessed his year. "Yeah I'm a first year." he stated with a nod. He thought for a moment before grinning ear to ear. "I think you and I have Flying together." he said clapping his hands together in a 'ah ha' moment.

"Sorry about running into you." he said sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. "I know I already said that, but it doesn't hurt to say it again." he mumbled.

Percival brought himself out of his worrying smiling at the boy. "You're a first year too right?" he asked.

He would stand up and get the dust and debris off of his Slytherin outfit. Luckily there were no tears or stains, he didn't want to buy a new outfit at all. Not that he was poor or anything, but his older brother who raised him probably wouldn't be too pleased in paying for a second outfit when it was barely the beginning of the year. He would hear Percival speak, his name sure was a mouthful to speak, he wondered if it would be okay to call him by a nickname. "That's cool you were named after your great grandparents. I don't really know my own grandparents so I am a bit jealous. Also, would it be okay if I called you Percy for short? Your name is kinda difficult for me to say." He would then hear the first year say he was in his first year, so they were the same age and grade, that was nice. "We do have a flying class together,  think you actually sat next to me." He would then hear him say sorry again and he would shake his head. "It's okay." He would smile apologetically.  "I wasn't looking where I was going too. And yes I am a first year. So I am sort of new to all of this magic"

Percival looked over the other student glad to see that the other boy was not injured. It would definitely look bad on himself if he had injured Adohiro. The wind blew harshly onto his face, and the boy wrapped his Slytherin colored scarf tighter around himself.

"Thanks. I am pretty proud to carry on his name." he said puffing out his chest slightly without even realizing it. Percival knew that there was added pressure because he shared a name with his great grandfather. Though it was still nice to know that his name had some meaning around it.

Percival shrugged his shoulders in a relaxed manner as the other boy spoke. "I don't mind if you call me Percy." he said with a grin. "I actually kind of like it. Has a nice ring to it, you know." he said with a small smile.

Percival lightly facepalmed as he realized that he and Adohiro had actually sat next to one another. "Oh your right! I can't believe I forgot." he chuckled pulling at his scarf slightly. Percival hoped that it had just been due to him paying attention in class. Though it was still a little embarrassing to say the least.

Percival smiled as the other boy accepted his apology. "Cool. I am glad I am not the only one who is a little lost." he said giving the other boy a small smile. The amount of material they were learning each day, never seemed to not make him confused. "We are learning so much material now. It's hard to keep up." he chuckled.

The young Slytherin thought for a moment before sticking out his hand. "It's nice to meet you Adohiro." he said hoping the other would shake his hand.

@Adohiro Moira If you'd like to we can end it after your reply. :)

Adohiro would shake @Percival Rainwood hand and he would smile. "It was nice meeting you but I have to go soon. It looks like the match is ending, sorry for interrupting you." He would give a soft smile to him and he would let go of his hand forgetting he was holding it. "Oh sorry!" He quickly apologized smiling. "I guess I will see you around sometime. Maybe we will see each other in class. Let us help out." He grinned and he would do a small wave. He made sure his bag was securely locked to prevent any other messes and he would finish it happily. He would walk down the busy match, a few people would begin to leave which would cause a huge traffic ham much to the annoyance of Adohiro. However, this was normal to him since he had lived in South Korea, Republic Of China, and Japan so this was not a rare occurrence to the young Asian boy. He wondered if there would be anything fun to do as he would slowly move like some snail to escape the place. He hated it a lot and he would wait and wait until he exited!
