Elisa entered a dim classroom; she sat on the corner and opened her book. Due to her brothers, Elisa had had a particular interest in the Dark Arts since a young age; her older brother worked to unravel the mysteries surrounding such a horrific type of magic. She already knew about hexes and jixes, as well as facts about dark creatures. She had learned most of what she knew through hearing his older brother’s conversations. Whenever she opened the book she felt at home, listening to his older brother and parents; in such a horrific art, she found the warmth of home. She studied ahead, read whatever she thought was interesting, she would secretly practice her spells and watch older students practice advance spells.

Elisa had been sitting quietly in a corner, she had seen the harsh treatment of her classmates. She decided not to speak, to seat quietly, to watch. As she sat studying her favorite subject, she listened what they said, but she remained quiet. She had been in trance during such a long time, she only seemed to realize a long time had passed when she started to feel hungry. Then, she heard him, Adahiro, she had seen him before, in the Charms class; she was excited, they would finally stop fighting.

Seul had enough of this madness. How vexatious can this get? Granted, she was grateful for the new girl defending her, but their constant bickering was really putting Seul on edge. She couldn’t recall one thing she had read this entire class thanks to the boy.

"How about we all start over okay? Forget whatever happened, we're all tired and hungry. So we're all on edge. So let's just relax and do what we can to be nice to each other.”

How funny. The boy thought everything could be resolved just by asking to start over? Is this the kind of humor they had here at Hogwarts? After the boy had purposely insulted her, there was no way she could forgive him. There was no reason for Seul to mingle with the common folk anymore. There was a reason her status was so high; it was not to be mingled with these people. The girl ignored the boy’s comment and began collecting her books. It was the end of class anyways. Before exiting the classroom, she gave one last glance at the boy and said to the girl: “I appreciate your effort to defend me.” The girl didn’t need to be dragged into this mess, but whatever has happened happened. One thing was clear, Seul needed to change her seat.

Ana exhaled loudly, rolling her eyes at the Slytherin's feeble attempt to set things right. "How about we all start over, okay? Forget whatever happened, we're all tired and hungry. So we're all on edge. So let's just relax and do what we can to be nice to each other.” It was obvious that he had not realized his mistake; all he wanted was to end this discussion. Ana would not let him off the hook that easily.
Just as the young Ravenclaw opened her mouth to speak, the Asian girl whom her adversary had insulted pushed back her chair and got to her feet. "Thanks for defending me", she said, addressing Ana, before picking up her book bag and leaving the room. "You- you're welcome!", Ana called after her, surprised upon seeing her housemate leaving. As the door closed behind her, Ana quickly refocused her attention on the Slytherin. "Don't think you can escape your responsibility so easily. You have done something completely unacceptable and you won't get out of having to apologize - to sincerely apologize - for this with an excuse like that. I am neither tired nor hungry, thank you very much. I'm just downright angry because of your behaviour. And I have every right to be so. Tell me, boy, why would I be interested in being nice to you after what you have said so far? Are you at least remotely aware of the fact that you've made an extremely bad first impression?" She folded her arms, staring at him. Her face was a mixture of anger and exasperation.
Out of the corner of her eye, Ana noticed another girl, her hair a copper-like shade of red, sitting a few metres away from them, intently watching the two. She seemed to listen carefully despite not saying a word. Ana turned to her. "Hey", she said, a small smile on her face. "You've been listening, right? What d'you think of all this madness?"

Elisa, had been watching carefully, just when she was about to close her books and exit the classroom, she saw the Asian girl furiously leave the room. She despised the harsh treatment she had been watching, after all they are partners. They are doomed to interact with each other, to see their faces on the great hall. Now, she knew she had to leave the room, she wasn’t involved in their fight, she had only seen Adohiro once and the two other girls were strangers. Then Ana Fox (as she had said it before, she believed that was her name) spoke to her, what do I think of this madness? Well, someone finally agrees with me, this certainly is madness, it is oblivious to answer the question; of course it was disgusting to see others fight. Elisa had focused on her studying, she was working hard, when they had started a fight.

“Hey,” Elisa said awkwardly, but then she remembered she was furious and disgusted by their behavior, what could she expect? They were children, just like her; however, they made a perfect portrayal of individualism and showed the harsh treatment of society towards others. “It was madness indeed. Therefore, you had no right to disrespect others, this is a classroom; I of course understand the need to defend yourself against others’ harsh treatment, but none of the students here is interested in having to cope with a fight. Sorry for looking at you while you were fighting, I should have asked you to stop.” Then she added: “I am Elisa Teagan, it was a pleasure to meet you.”

Elisa turned back to see her books controlled by rage, she picked them up, looked at Adohiro and Ana and smiled at them, and left the classroom. She wasn’t willing to look back, she had already become part of them, part of their madness. The madness she despised. She felt sorry for her behavior.

He would glance at the curly dark haired girl quietly, he couldn't believe she was scolding him like some naughty child who was caught doing something bad. He would look at her, it sort of irked him that he was simple referred to as 'boy.' "My name is Adohiro Moira. It's certainly not a boy. I've never known anyone who is English named boy even their last name. But I guess it's possible for it to happen." He would state. "Fine, I will say sorry to her next time I see her since she seems like she's in an awful bad mood. I don't know if she'll strangle me." He would tell the girl truthfully. However, he soon saw Elisa and he widened his eyes. He had seen her around certainly and he would glance at her. "H-Hello, Elisa. We met at the pool, remember?" He would smile at her. "It's fine you don't need to say sorry." He would tell Elisa who had tried to apologize for not stopping the small children's squabble. "Are you an older sister?" He would ask the curly haired girl. She certainly seemed like a motherly kind of person, maybe she has unruly younger siblings possibly? @Ana Fox @Elisa Teagan

She groaned as he was going on and on about being called "boy". "Honestly, it's not a big thing. You are a boy, aren't you?" She briefly wondered whether he actually was, but the student did appear to be male. "If you don't want to be addressed like that, fine... Adohiro. But there's no need to turn that into a huge issue." Then, she listened to the Slytherin as he continued. "Fine, I will say sorry to her next time I see her since she seems like she's in an awful bad mood."
He didn't seem to actually understand what he'd just done. Ana glared at him, an expression of exasperation and disbelief on her face. He still just wanted to get this over with. The Ravenclaw hated that kind of behaviour - avoiding conflicts, dishonest apologies. "What exactly are you going to apologize for? Do you even know that? Do you understand what the problem is?", she snapped, folding her arms.
Suddenly, completely out of the blue, he changed the subject. "Are you an older sister?" Ana stared at him, dumbfounded. Had she heard him correctly? Why did he want to know that now? She went over the question in her head, trying to think of an answer. She was an only child, so his guess was wrong - but where on earth had that come from? "Asking personal questions now, are we?" Ana smirked. "How come? D'you think we are friends?" Her words probably came across as harsh, but the question was honest. She wanted to know the reason for the sudden change of topic. "And no, I'm not. No siblings."

Adohiro certainly didn't like to be named boy and he would watch her with a stink eye. Once he promised to say sorry, he then would sigh. It felt like he was being scolded by his aunt from Japan. At least this girl had not slapped him at all and he would sigh. "I will say sorry for being rude to her. And I'll bring her flowers or a bar of chocolate may be to make her feel better? Does that sound okay at all?" He asked him smiling and he would sit up to fix his posture. "I do know the problem and I said sorry already, what more can I do? Should I grovel to her like in my culture?" He asked wondering if that would be enough. He did make an embarrassment out of himself and he was a tad bit worried about his reputation. When she seemed to be surprised about his question, he shrugged his shoulders. "You just seem like an older sister I don't know. You seem kind of maternal in a bit, I don't know. You remind me of my aunt from Japan. You're the spitting image of her, no offense. This is a compliment."

Ana sighed. Was he really this dumb? No matter what she said, she didn't seem to get through to him, make him understand. "This is not about flowers or chocolate - or grovelling!", she spat. "Your gifts are useless if your apology is not sincere!" She folded her arms. "Adohiro, I would like to believe you that you know what the problem is, but you're not giving me any evidence. Could you just... tell me what was wrong with what you said? So I know that you understand?"
She didn't even know the girl she was defending. But this boy made her furious - acting like an utter misogynist and thinking he could put everything right with flowers and chocolate when all it took was a sincere apology.
Somehow, it just did not feel genuine, honest. The sudden changes of topic, asking her whether she was an older sister and comparing her to his aunt, as though he wanted to distract her from the real issue at hand. His "I do know the problem" without saying or doing anything else to prove it. Ana had a strong feeling that he wasn't honest and just wanted to avoid a conflict, and dishonest people were what the Ravenclaw most despised.

"I guess I was rude to her so I need to sincerely apologize to her? Since what I said was harmful, hurtful, and not in good taste. I should say to her I am very sorry for my disruptive behavior?" He asked he was quite confused if this was a proper apology, he never really had to say sorry his whole life so it was a bit strange. Growing up with his brother, if he did do anything wrong he would just be slapped or smacked and everything was forgiven then without any words exchanged. So this was different the way his family did everything, it felt weird. Sometimes he would get a gift card for his brother if he felt sorry enough but he would not exchange the words and neither did his older brother growing up who basically raised him at a young age. He would let out a tired yawn, it had been a restless sleep and he would rub his eyes, still glancing at the maternal sounding girl Ana. He had seen her around but didn't take much notice to her. She had her own circle of friends and he had his own and he didn't think their friend circle intergrated with each other.

Ana was torn between a smile and a frown. At least he seemed to be trying now - but Adohiro apparently still didn't get the gist of what infuriated the Ravenclaw. "That was a good start", she said sharply, stressing the word start. "You forgot 'misogynist', though. You tried to invalidate her feelings and her point by referring to her supposedly being on her period. I'd call that misogynist, wouldn't you?" Ana glared at him, daring the Korean boy to challenge her.
When he had been speaking, the Slytherin had seemed kind of awkward. As though he was unused to genuinely apologizing, to reflecting on his own behaviour. "You don't have much experience with saying sorry, do you? You don't seem like your behaviour has been picture perfect up to now, though. How come nobody has ever told you to apologize?" Spoilt little brat, she thought. Ana assumed Adohiro had just gotten through with doing whatever he wanted at home. All her life, she had fervently believed that, when you had done something wrong, you had to admit it, understand what the matter was so that you wouldn't make the same mistake again, and, most importantly, sincerely apologize to the person you'd hurt with your misdemeanour. For her, the Slytherin's behaviour was foreign and close to appalling.
