Christine Garner | Second Year | Gryffindor

Personality ~ Christine is a very shy young lady. She is very introverted and would prefer to be left alone. She is the kind of person, when at a party, would sit in the corner and wait to be approached, instead of approaching others. She is a kindhearted girl, but since she always sits alone, people don't always realize that. They will usually interpret her being alone as "This girl is mean. People don't like her. Stay away!" She is very intelligent and had even skipped a year in her math studies.

Likes ~ Christine likes the average things for a girl her age. Dresses, bright colors, flowers, and all of the other "girly" things. But, she also likes things that got her stereotyped into the "nerd group." Her favorite pastimes were homework, reading, and studying. As a result of that, she came across as antisocial and a nerd.

Dislikes ~ Christine hates all negative aspects of life. She dislikes teh clouds and the mud that dampen your mood. She disliked bullies and idiots who make you feel bad. But, above all, she hates stereotypes. She herself was stereotyped for a while, so she has experienced it firsthand. It is not fun, and she never wants to see another kid have to experience teh same thing.

Appearance ~ Christine has wavy black hair that tumbles down to her mid-back. She has pale skin and a few light freckles. Her smiling eyes are a warm brown color.

Clothing Style ~ Christine likes to wear light and flowy sundresses of the sleeveless or off-the-shoulder variety. She'll sometimes just wear a shirt and a skirt. All her clothes are either white or a very light variety of other colors. She always wears a pineapple-shaped mood necklace. It is the last thing her grandmother bought her before passing away last year.

History ~ Being a half-blood, Christine lived her early years with a firm foot planted in both the muggle and wizard worlds. She got along extremely well with both her muggle and wizard cousins. She loved to go to Diagon Alley and other magical locations with her father just as much as she loved to do muggle activities with her mother. Her life was perfectly balanced.

Magic ~ Christine had grown up with magic in her life, so she spotted it immediately when she first showed signs of it. She was sitting in her family's large backyard looking at a small patch of daisies. She had promised all her friends a daisy chain, as all the 7-year-old girls at her school were obsessed. Unfortunately, there weren't enough daisies for her to make that many. She sat there, pouting for a bit, and then thought, 'I wish there were more daisies. Caitlyn and Caroline are going to be so upset.' Suddenly, the small patch of daisies expanded to about twenty times its original size. Now ecstatic, she ran inside to tell her parents about her new magic.
