| πΈs a bell tolling in the nearby distance, it is indicating the last class of the day before lunch break had ended. And for Cash, that last class was Muggle Studies. Cash had taken Muggle Studies as one of their electives in their third year. When the Professor dismissed the class, Cash collected and stored their study material and shoved it gently into their satchel.
They shouldered the bag and walked out of the room. Sometimes, the former Prefect of Slytherin missed seeing Professor Maya Galim teach the class. It was not Cash who disliked the current Professor, but it just felt different. After Cash had managed to escape from the throng of students that exited the same roomas them, Cash descended the stairs and marched toward the Great Hall.
They had a selection of options to enjoy their meal outside the school grounds, but for the green es, today is a bit colder than some days ago. So Cash opted to have their lunch in the warmth of the Great Hall. Once the young Ironwoods had done with their meal, they pushed aside to make room for Cash to review their Potions homework and parchments before the next class.
Once all had been reviewed, Cash opened the flap of their satchel and took a thick book. In the cover of the book written'Medical Journal of The Centuries. And for the subheading of the book could be seen, What Makes Us Different From Muggle Doctors by OlΓvia RamirΓ©z a.k.a Cash's mother.
The young socialite was so immersed in the book since they had reached the middle chapter of the book that explained the newest medical surgical method that is innovative and had never been performed. In the book, it said when the surgery was applied to a patient, the surgical need less magic power, but the result of the surgeries incition did not leave a mark or scar on the patient's body part if ever the patient needed one.
The green eyes were so deep in their reading, they did not hear the soft hoot of Owl delivering mail entering the Great Hall. The Owl's wing flapped above them, and dropped the item that its carry on it talons right on top of the book that Cash held in their hand. With the gravity force crushing on the book, the book fell from Cash's grasp and lay flat under the long wooden bench.
Whereas the broom lay flat on the table. On the part where the broom brush is installed, a brown paper had been wrapped around it and it been tied by a string in the same color. "What the-"Cash muttered in Spanish in response to the sudden disturbance of their reading, surprised when the broom fell right on top of their book. With mail being mailed like this, it felt like dΓ©jΓ vu for Cash.
Why? Because the green eyes had a love-hate relationship with Owl mailing, and anyone who had witnessed the Howler incident 4 years ago would know why. The Sixth year then stood up from their current sitting position to examine the package more closely. It is definitely a broom.

But Cash never saw a broom like that before. Well, at least not in the Quality Quidditch Supplies or in the England Quidditch market. Anyone would be curious and can not wait to open it if they got a new package. But not Cash. The young Ironwoods push the broom aside and bend down to retrieve their fallen book from underneath the bench.
Once the book was in their grasp, Cash seated back down on the long wooden bench again as they pushed their glasses up, as they slightly slided down on the bridge of their nose. And on the shaft of the broom, there was a little memo tag hanging there, but Cash did not even bother to check, read, or see who the sender of the broom was as they cracked the book back open yet again.
The Second-String Keeper then continued reading through the next page where they left off.|

Upon exiting her last class before lunch, Rose was met by a familiar silver diva. Chaska often waited for Rose outside of classes. The redhead wasn't really sure if there was a rule against pets in class, but even if there wasn't, she knew the cute cat would be a pretty big distraction to any attempt at learning, even for the young adults in her seventh-year classes.
Chaska meowed, rubbing up against Rose's legs the moment she spied her, and Rose couldn't help but smile. She reached down to pick up the silver siberian, cradling her in her arms. "Hey, pretty kitty," she said. "Wanna come get something to eat with me?" The silver fluffball meowed her approval, and Rose set off down the halls. The redhead had to admit that lately, a lot of things had been going well. She was excited for the trip to Koldovstorez soon, and over the spring break she had planned to visit the creature sanctuary that her brother had introduced her to. Her classes were going well, she was preparing for her duel in a couple of days, and she had a fluffy friend in her arms. Chaska had shifted to have her paws on Rose's shoulder, watching the students in the halls from her vantage point as Rose held her steady.
As Rose walked into the Great Hall, the first thing she saw was a broom, flying through the air. An owl was delivering it, and she watched as it drifted down and was deposited on one of the tables. Her eyes followed it all the way to its destination, and caught on its recipient.
Cassandra Ironwoods.
Rose blinked, not really believing her eyes. It felt like she hadn't seen the Slytherin in forever, completely unbothered by the enormous delivery that was clearly for them. Standing here, in the Great Hall, she could almost hear echoes of their mother's howler all those years ago, the first time they had really met. Rose remembered trying to comfort them, unsure of how to really help. That had been a long time ago, and a lot of things had changed. Her family had changed. Rose had changed.
Cash had clearly changed. They were never the closest of friends, but Rose always enjoyed having them in class and seeing them around, and their sudden absence a couple of years ago had been unexpected. She should have owled, should have tried to get in touch with them and figure out what had happened, but she didn't think they knew each other well enough. She didn't want to pry.
Chaska turned her head to follow Rose's gaze, not sure why they had stopped on their mission for lunch, and Rose bent down to place her on the floor. The silver cat was on her heels as she walked towards the table where Cash was sitting, stopping as she stood across from them. "...Cash, is that you?" she said, her voice friendly and bright as she attempted to get the Slytherin's attention. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever."
Rose had so many questions. Their absence, the broom, how they were doing, what they were reading, but she opted for the most pressing one. "Is it okay if I sit with you?"
