Not Another Disney Princess
Evie was walking among the grounds, looking at everything. She was still surprised she was here. Her whole family had gone to Hogwarts, but still, she couldn't help but feel a rush of joy when she got here. She found a small, unoccupied area, and sat down and grabbed her sketch pad out of her bag and started sketching the castle. She was humming to herself when a girl from Hufflepuff walked up to her and said "OMG You look JUST like Merida from Brave!" Evie sighed and rolled her eyes. "I get that alot. I've debated on cutting my hair so people don't continue to make comments like that." Evie saw the girl's face. "Oh, I'm sorry! That sounded incredibly rude! Thank you for the compliment. I have actually watched that movie, despite my family being pure-blooded, we kind of like muggle technology. Merida is a wonderful princess. I just don't want to be 'that girl' If that makes any sense...." Evie realized she was rambling and just looked down, her face flushed.
She shook her head as the girl walked away. 'Great...first person i have talked to, and they don't like me.' She thought to herself and sighed. She gathered her things up and started walking around, hoping to find someone that was in the same boat as herself. Alone.
She was, by no means, a people pleaser, but she did want to have friends here. What was the point of being here is you had no one to share it with?
