Towering above the average male in his region, Santi stands tall at 185 cm (6'1). His physique is lean and suggests an active lifestyle shaped by physical labor. While clearly proud of himself and aware of how he's perceived by others, as well as knowing how to use it to his advantage when it matters, Santiago is not a slave to vanity. His appearance is merely a byproduct of his interests rather than the result of deliberate effort. Full and prominent eyebrows frame brown-dominant hazel eyes. His facial composition is symmetrical and harmonious, and when combined with his considerable height, it often draws attention in a crowd. |
Santiago’s persona differs wildly in his professional life versus private life. When it comes to his profession, he’s capable and expects others to mirror his drive and need for perfection. With little patience for incompetence or laziness, if someone approached him for aid in topics he’d expect you to know, he’d calm but sternly tell you to come back after doing research on your own. He’s helpful, granted you’ve done everything in your power to succeed before expecting assistance. |

Santiago was born and raised in Cusco, Peru, the middle child of two extremely different parents with different parental styles. His father is a highly acknowledged magical historian, a man of reserved nature who prefers to bury himself in work and books rather than socialize. Meanwhile, his mother made a name for herself as a cultural ambassador and socialite, making a living through her natural allure and charisma, using them both to advance her family and secure deals and favors wherever she goes. Despite their differences, they are an affectionate couple, indulging their children with the finer things in life while simultaneously pushing them toward greater success. In Santi’s case, they succeeded, though one might argue that with his natural drive, he’d succeeded anyway. |
cv | In his eyes, his two sisters are stagnating in life, constantly suffering from the thief of joy that is comparison. Failed, dramatic relationships follow them wherever they go. During his school years, he excelled in every subject he applied himself to, though laziness or incompetence in others grated on him like sandpaper. In the year following his education, Santi travelled extensively across South America, as well as Europe. He sought cultural variety, interesting encounters and experiences that tested both body and mind. Upon his return, he pursued higher education, majoring in Magical Law and through a strict work-ethic and various connections along the way, built a reputable résumé after graduation. |

It wasn't until his new Headmaster position that Santiago found out that a brief vacation love affair in his youth had resulted in an accidental pregnancy. Long gone once the pregnancy was discovered, he never knew what he missed out on. Since the woman had been Muggle and unknowing of his heritage, Santiago had not left any means for her to contact him the traditional, wizarding ways. For reasons unknown to him at the time, she always remembered him, and in due time, revealed his identity to their daughter. Almost twelve years too late to be considered in the picture, Santi met his daughter, Logan, at Castelobruxo after she had barged into his office to demand answers for his absence. His first instance of magic was largely uninspiring. When he was seven years old, his magic manifested when a boy that made his older sister cry beneath an oak got suddenly knocked in the head by a tree branch. |
