Flame was sitting in the library reading she really wasn’t supposed to be reading she was supposed to be studying. But Flame couldn’t help it. The book she had found was just really interesting! Flame sighed putting down her book and gathering up her stuff. She walked over to one of the tables and sat down. She started by pulling out her potions homework and worked on that quickly until she finished. Than after that she pulled out her Transfiguration homework while also pulling out her Charms homework.
Flame started moving back and forth between them doing one question on Transfiguration her and another on Charms there. Flame was quite strong in Potions and Transfiguration but Charms? Charms were a whole different story. Flame sighed she should probably find someone who would be willing to help her with Charms and maybe she could help them with Potions or Transfiguration.
At that moment a girl from Ravenclaw sat down at the table beside Flame. Flame went to go introduce herself but then paused. Maybe this girl didn't want to be friends? Flame decided to introduce herself anyway. “Hi my name is Flame!” she told the girl Very happily. Hopefully not too happily!

After a rough Potions Elowin wearily walked herself to her common room because it was a free period, phew!. Then she remembered about homework. Grrrr… The slight problem was that she had lost one of her essays! Oh no, oh no, oh no, no, no! Professor would NOT be pleased if she had no homework to present to him! Well, I have to go study for it now! Dang it!
Elowin walked to the library and dumped herself down at a table. She was extremely annoyed at herself because she really had done her transfiguration homework but somehow she had lost it and forgotten all the answers! Grrrr. Well I have to study now, she thought to herself as she sat down. A girl next to her looked at her, and said,…. “Hi my name is Flame!” In a happy sort of voice and Elowin immediately saw that the girl, sorry no Flame would be a great friend. So Elowin glanced up, vaguely smiled and said “Hello Flame! My name is Elowin, nice to meet you!” and she gave her a cheesy kind of grin. “What house are you in, and what year?” “Sorry, for all the questions!” said Elowin and nervously laughed.

Flame smiled when the girl started asking loads of questions. She said her name was Elowin! But for some reason the girl looked sad. Well… not say exactly more like she looked frustrated and like she had lost all hope. “My house is Gryffindor! I am a first year! Questions are good! I like questions!” Flame then realized that all her energy might scare Elowin.
She quieted down a bit before continuing . “Sorry I get really excited sometimes. What about you? What house are you in? Also what year are you in?” Flame really hoped Elowin was in the same year as her because than they could hang out more because they would have more similar schedules. But if Elowin wasn’t in the same year as her than it would be hard to find time to hang out. ‘Slow down you aren’t even friends yet!’ Flame yelled at herself in her brain.
Flame looked back at Elowin. She really hoped Elowin wanted to be friends with her after this. Maybe she should ask her. “Um hey!” Flame said to Elowin Would you maybe like to be friends?!” Flame could feel her excitement start to bubble over and tried to push it down. If Elowin said no than Flame couldn’t start to get her hopes up.

What house are you in? Also what year are you in? Sheesh, that girls got a lot of energy! Elowin thought. Um, hey Flame said to Elowin, Would you maybe like to be friends?. And Elowin replied. I’m a first year! I’m a Ravenclaw and yes, I would love to be friends! Elowin giggled away happily.Well, my problem that I have got -Says Elowin, on the verge of tears - Is that I have lost my Transfiguration homework essay thing and now I have forgotten the answers, so I need do ding dang study! Then she started crying. Will you * sniff* help me *sniff * study? *sniff * Elowin was concerned that Flame would think she was a wimp though. Elowin suddenly remembered something, so she stopped poring over dusty boring books and said, Oh, and by the way call me Elo. All my friends do. And Elowin grinned at Flame in a kinda chewy way!Hey, I guess we are study buddies and friends now! Elowin joked.

Flame was SOOOO excited when Elowin, No ELO said she wanted to be friends! And then she even told Flame her nickname! How did she know that Flame was going to ask her if she had a nickname! But Flame felt horrible when Elo said that she had lost her Transfiguration essay. Flame felt a spark of hope when she remembered that she was good at transfiguration!!
Flame turned to Elo bursting to the brim with excitement. "ELOWIN!" She said trying not to shout but failing. "SHHHHHHH!" Someone said. Flame winced. "SORRY!" she whisper yelled. She turned back to Elo.
"Anyways! Guess what?!" Flame whispered, getting louder the more she talked. Flame quieted down again. "I am a amazing Transfiguration student!" Flame tried to make it sound like she wasn't bragging and hoped that Elo didn't think she was bragging. "I got all O's and one E on my assignments! I could help you!" Flame hoped that Elo wanted her help. To make the deal even SWEETER, literally and figuratively, Flame reached into her bag and pulled out a small ziploc bag of chocolate cookies. She always had them on her, and was constantly giving them to other people! "Want a cookie?" She asked Elowin holding one out.
