WC: 211. Mentions: @Ophelia RosalesFawkes entered the library holding onto her books. She was frankly not the most excited to be working on a project. She found it easier to work alone as it required minimal social interaction and it also helped her not feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work that a project contained. However, she currently didn't have much of a choice. Their professor had said that students were to work in twos and she had gotten paired up with a hufflepuff girl Ophelia Rosales.
Fawkes had never seen or heard of the girl before however she had spotted her during the class when they were told to go to their partners. She remembered the girl to be rather optimistic and joyful which threw her off a bit but she quickly recovered enjoying the happy personality.
She walked around the library making her way to the tables at one end and began to look for the books related to her project topic while she waited for her project partner to arrive. Luckily, the books related to the topic weren't too far from the tables so she didn't have to walk far to get them back and forth. She sat down and began to write a basic plan of the project while waiting.

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ Ophelia practically sprinted down the halls at an alarming speed, clutching her stack of books tightly to her chest. She knew she was late, but 10 minutes?! Her stomach dropped in a way that was followed by panic. “Oh no… First meeting and I’m already making a bad impression!” She thought, and hurried down the halls. She’d meant to leave earlier, truly. But she had lost track of time, tending to the plants once again. She stumbled a little around the corner, barely missing crashing into a bench. Ophelia muttered a quickly apology to the bench, even though it didn’t have feelings before continuing on.
By the time she reached the library doors, she slowed down, taking a moment to steady her breathing. She slowly walked in, looking around the library. She scanned the room for her partner, until she spotted a familiar face from class sitting at a table near the far end.
Ophelia walked over, letting out a small and apologetic smile. “Hey! You must be Fawkes, right? I’m Ophelia. I’m so sorry I’m late!” She set her books down on the wooden table carefully, and glanced at the basic plan and notes already spread out. “Oh wow you already started,” She spoke, sounding genuinely impressed. “That’s actually really amazing!”
She pulled out one of the chairs and sat down next to her partner, smiling brightly. She opened a textbook up, while glancing at the rest of the things she brought.
“I grabbed a bunch of stuff, but honestly I’m happy to do whatever helps most. We can split it up, work together, or even just talk it through first. I think this could actually be kinda fun!”
She glanced up again, smile warm and encouraging, practically radiating enthusiasm as she waited to see how Fawkes wanted to go about it. She was pretty happy with her partner. Well actually, she would be happy with anyone. She was watching Fawkes, subtly trying to figure out her mannerisms. She’s sure that they’ll work together just fine.

WC: 204 Mentions: @Ophelia RosalesDon't worry about being late. It was only a few minutes its alright. She said moving some of the material out of her way. She noticed the cheerful nature that Ophelia had. With her wide, warm smile and her clear enthusiasm, Fawkes could tell they were going to get along great as partners for this project.
Alright lets figure out how to do this project then. We can break it up into multiple sections perhaps? Then we could work on it one part at a time. But we need to figure out the sections first before we start. You got any ideas? She asked starting to write out a basic outline for their project.
She separated the project into multiple categories based on what she knew on it. She noted it down in an organised manner to make it easier for them later. She double checked her book for certain words and to make sure she wasn't writing something that wasn't part of their subject. She was careful not to blot the ink since it was rather easy for too much ink to flow out of the quill and spill everywhere all over the parchment sheet she was writing on.

She was kind of intrigued by how hard working her partner was, usually others would have been off-topic or disengaged in projects. She liked the brunette's work habits. Ophelia leaned forward a little, elbows resting on the table. Her eyes followed the movement of the quill with interest.
She hummed, looking back down at her textbooks. “Hm, I like the way you’re thinking, breaking it into multiple sections.” She spoke, fixing her hair out of habit and glancing over at the basic plan. “How about I do the benefits and negatives, while you do the history? We can work on the definition together.”
Ophelia pulled one of her books closer and flipped through a few pages, careful not to bend the corners. “I’ve got some notes here that might help with definitions and background stuff.” She spoke softly, her tone light and cheerful. “But honestly, I don’t really mind what we do first!”

WC: 221. Mentions: @Ophelia RosalesShe watched her partner take out a set of notes. She was curious. Sometimes you could tell a lot about a person using the way they wrote their notes. She wanted to see what type of person she was working with. And from what she could tell? This project was going to be smooth sailing for them. The way the notes were writing in a systematic manner. Even if she didn't understand the system she could tell that there still definitely was one.
When Ophelia suggested starting with the basic overview, she nodded. I agree. If we can get an introduction of sorts down it will allow us to find the remaining content much easier and we can finish the project faster. Ill check on this pile of books here if you'd like to start with the second one? We can note the main important points in short on this. She pulled out a fresh parchment sheet and quickly scribbled on top the words 'Reference Points'. She divided the page in half so they wouldn't get the points mixed up on accident.
She took out the first book and began to scan through it. It wasn't a very big book thankfully so she was able to scanning it quickly and she began noting down points she found for their reference.

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ Ophelia nodded as she picked up the second book and slid it closer to herself, looking down at the chapter overview inside. “Okay yeah, that makes sense!” She says, agreeing with Fawkes wholeheartedly. “Starting with an overview is probably the best method to approach this.”
She flipped through a few pages, skimming the book trying to find key points until something caught her eye. “The content in this book is actually really useful.” She said. “It doesn’t talk a lot about nonsense and dives straight into the important information.” She paused and started to write down a few short points on her paper, keeping them brief and direct.
“I’ll just grab the main ideas for now, and I’ll formulate a better wording for it later.” Ophelia spoke, chin resting on her hand. She was speaking more to herself rather than Fawkes. “Definitions, maybe a couple examples. I’ll clean it up after and decide what’s actually useful later.”
She glanced up briefly, then realizing she was talking out loud this whole time. She looked up, then back to the page. She was a little embarrassed and lets out a small, nervous laugh.
“Let me know if you find anything important in your book!” A small smile tugged at her lips. Ophelia kept reading, her early optimism and joy now settled into a more calm demeanour now that she was studying.

She had her quill in her right hand while she scanned the book on her left flipping the pages with her left hand. She was focused on the project and barely heard anything that Ophelia was saying. She kept looking back and forth between the parchment and the book just to ensure she didn't leave a huge splotch of ink on the sheet.
When she was asked how she was progressing with the work her head snapped up. She looked at Ophelia before apologising. Sorry I didn't quite catch what you said. I kind of zoned out while I was doing the work. You asked how it was going with the work right? Well i've noted the points here and I circled some important points in the textbook in pencil. We can start to write on the first few pages on the project now I believe. I'll get another fresh sheet to start the project on. She pulled out a blank sheet of parchment for them to start the project on.
She handed Ophelia a part of it to start with the inside content while she wrote out the introduction page of the project. She was careful in her writing work so that the ink wouldn't spill and that her handwriting came out neat.
