Discovery of Magic

Ana first exhibited signs of magic ability at the age of seven years - on her seventh birthday, to be precise. During the party dinner, the table which had been brought out into the garden, full of slices of chocolate cake and lemonade, rose into the air, much to the surprise of the party guests (who later had to be Obliviated by members of the Magical Ministry). Ana is not quite sure what the cause of this incident was, but instinctively sensed that she was somehow responsible for it and guesses that it had something to do with a girl's snarky comment about the outfit her mother had sewn as a present for Ana. 

Hogwarts letter

Ana's letter arrived in August 2019, during the summer holidays. It was the summer that the eleven-year-old had finally made up her mind to tell her crush, Laila, that she loved her. 
However, this heartwarming moment would never take place. 
From the moment on that a bearded man in an odd-looking cloak with a letter in his hand appeared on their doorstep, Ana's life would never be the same. 
The wizard was friendly, with a deep, warm voice, introducing himself as the Headmaster of a school called Hogwarts. Ana giggled at the name. He explained everything to her and her parents in great detail. Whereas Ana's mother and father accused him of being mad or simply pranking them, the young witch knew at once that what he said was true. She remembered the first peculiar - supernatural, even - thing that had happened to her, four years ago, on her seventh birthday. Other incidents had come after that: a rock covered in a soft, thick coat of moss suddenly jutting out from a wall Ana was climbing when she lost her grip and fell; the rock being the only thing that saved her from injuries more severe than a few bruises. A window in her room inexplicably shattering when she came home weeping, devastated because of a bad grade.
Ana was delighted, thankful at first. She would get a wand! She would learn to do magic! She finally had an explanation for the ongoings of the past years! 
Then she realized that Hogwarts was in Scotland. That it was a boarding school. That she would be far away from her parents and friends, and from Laila, for seven years, only coming back for a few weeks of summer holidays. 
Ana cried, she sobbed, begged her parents to keep her at home, no matter how much the nice man tried to persuade her that Hogwarts was a good place. She refused to see the bright side of things, especially as she realized that she would never be able to tell Laila about her experiences with magic, and could not offer her an explanation why she suddenly moved to Scotland. 
Despite the girl's pleas, Mr. and Mrs. Fox decided that she would go. They wanted the best for her daughter and therefore wanted to place her in an environment where Ana's magic would be looked upon as natural, not as an abomination, where she would not have to hide it all her life. Despite not admitting it, there was also fear behind that decision: fear of what would happen if their child became more powerful but could not control her outbursts of magic.  

Lycanthropy

It was the summer before Ana went to Hogwarts; a summer that should change her life forever in more than one way.
A few days after the witch had received her Hogwarts letter, an argument with her parents broke out. Once again, she tried to convince them to let her stay home. Angry words were exchanged which both Ana and her parents would later regret, tears flowed, doors were slammed. It ended with Ana running out of the family's house in the outskirts of Dublin, trying to get some time for herself to progress it all. 
One of Ana's favourite hobbies at the time was rock climbing. The physical activity soothed her mind, having to focus on the task at hand helped her forget her other problems. 
As darkness fell on the town, Ana raced to a climbing wall in a forest nearby which she often frequented. She was not thinking clear because of fury and sadness, lest the child forgot to put on any protective gear. As her palms were wet with perspiration and her vision blinded by tears, Ana slipped and fell from four metres above the ground, breaking her ankle in the process, making it impossible for the young witch to get home. 
As she lay there in the dark, stiff and cold, in pain, scared, a loud howl echoed through the forest. Moments later, a large gray wolf was by her side.
This was no natural wolf. Ana noticed the short snout and the human-like features. His presence terrified her. With a vicious growl, the wolf sank its fangs into her arm, ripping open her stomach in the process. 
Ana would have died this very minute if there had not been a witch in a purple uniform tracking down the wolf; later, she would realize that the woman had been a member of the Magical Ministry's Werewolf Capture Unit. The werewolf attacking her was a particularly dangerous one, attacking humans on purpose and seeking out large cities during full moon. 
Upon seeing Ana, the witch abandoned her chase and did her best to help the girl. She took her to the St. Mungo's Hospital in London by Side-Along-Apparition, where the doctors cared for Ana and instructed her and her parents on how to deal with the Wolfsbane Potion. 
The scars, however, remained, now inextricably linked to Ana like the Change that overtook her body every month.

Ana reluctantly boards the Hogwarts express. She enters a compartment, asks if she can stay there and compliments Lydia Lestat on her braids.

Ana wakes up early after her first night at Hogwarts and writes a list with her escape plan.

An Explosive Deal | ♦ | 28/11/2019 | Abandoned Toilets

Ana tries to buy explosives from Dale Kurt in the Abandoned Toilets. She doesn't know that the mixture is likely to fail, but is suspicious of the product's quality.

Bearing Fangs and Consequences | ♦ | 05/03/2020 | Abandoned Toilets 

Once again, Ana enters the Abandoned Toilets. This time, she stumbles upon a scene featuring a girl bleeding and someone else comforting her, Elena Jangleton sobbing wildly and Nico Shymane sitting in a corner by herself. Ana decides to try and comfort Nico.

A Clash in the Halls | ♦ | 28/03/2020 | Corridor, Second Floor

Elzabeth Gillan bumps into Ana and calls her an asshole. In return, Ana gets angry and slaps her. A crowd forms around the two. Their conflict escalates until the two girls are on the floor, punching and fighting each other. Slytherin Prefects Nico Shymane and Ruby Cazares join the crowd and pull the brawling students apart.

Dark Arts Studying | ♦ | 29/03/2020 | Classroom, First Floor 

During a Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Ana overhears Adohiro Moira publicly insulting Seulrene An and blaming her unfriendly reaction on her having her period. Naturally, Ana shouts at Adohiro, doing her best to defend Seul. The latter leaves the classroom after thanking Ana. Adohiro suddenly asks whether Ana has siblings for no apparent reason.
~ ABANDONED BECAUSE OF BAN ~

The Detention Plot Point | ♦ | 05/04/2020 | Classroom 

Prefects Nico and Ruby have given Ana detention because of what happened in the corridor. During this, they manage to convince Ana to give Hogwarts a second chance. This is an important plot point for her.

Meringue and Marzipan | ♦ | 10/04/2020 | Great Hall

As a part of Griseldis Edelhardt's Easter Errand, Ana decorates cupcakes in the Great Hall. Noah Page asks her if he can help, then Ana teaches him how to make Italian meringue buttercream.
