A Lapse in Judgement PV Jack Warren Finished

Interacting with @Jack Warren
The urge to bite back was strong. This guy had stolen her journal and then called her a dancing monkey from hell, which she honestly kind of took as a compliment. Maybe he now thought she was mildly threatening! Which was more than she could say for how a lot of people saw her. She nodded quickly when he mentioned her salves working but ended up cringing as she only made her headache worse.

Her head tilted when he did a half-baked apology, it was better than none at all and she sighed. "I could've... done less violent methods of grabbing the journal. So, sorry for that." No one said her apology had to be fully baked either, he wasn't wrong that he had definitely been in the wrong whether or not he believed it. She slowly crawled over to him, her healing instincts had kicked in feeling the need to fix the injuries that she caused. She came to sit in front of him, putting her journal far behind her but still within her own reach so he couldn't try and grab it again, though with the pain she was feeling she was sure he was feeling it ten times worse.

Small delicate hands moved to gently cup his face to inspect the damage, see if he needed a trip to the hospital wing or if her salve could do the trick. She softly pulled his head down to inspect the back of his head where a bump was already forming, she tenderly touched it to try and see how bad it was. She concluded that the hospital wing could probably be skipped as her salves were pretty powerful and she also didn't want to get in trouble. Her hand cupped his chin and raised his head back up. For the first time she actually looked into his eyes since the encounter. 'He's... actually kind of cute.'

Quickly the thought was forced out her head and she slowly stood up for fear of passing out if she stood up too fast, a small blush forming on her face from her new realization. She offered her hand to him to help him up before gathering her journal. "My salves should do just fine so we can avoid the hospital wing. You'll be bright and fine by morning." She gave him a small smile before turning away and walking, assuming he would just follow her back to their common room.

"I don't know whether to cry or scream or do both. It feels like I've done more than enough of both. And it feels like I haven't done enough." - Mason Deaver
