"W ell, Ravenclaw's waiting for you." lenny's father say for, god knows what time. "Im not going to end up in ravenclaw dad. I'm not smart." she sighs "don't say that, you are smart, and even if you do end up in ravenclaw, it will be my genes! we both are smart unlike someone." her mother back her up, referring to her father while she say someone. "Alright Alright, time to leave lens, let's revise what we practiced" her father says as he bends down to her level. "yes, dad. get up on the train, choose the compartment with lots of fun people, and when the chocolate lady comes, grab one chocolate and expect that I get the best card. I remembered it all." her eyes lit up as she mention chocolate- it's her guilty pleasure "what are we emphasising?" "one chocolate, dad." "good."

As she step up on the train, and start moving through the compartments, she forgot all she had memorised...tons of people?  scratch that, she couldn't even look in the eye of others, and there she went, passing compartments with tons of people and ending up in one, which had no one...except her.

she took the place and sat down, put her luggage beside her on the seat, because as it seemed like, no one was coming to sit beside her. the place her father exclaimed as the beginning of a happy journey, of not being alone, all crashed down. . . this world won't be any different than the muggle world now. she's going to spend seven years alone!

"Stop overthinking" she whisper to herself in the silence which was in contrast with the continuous hustle of the express. she takes a deep breath in, which was very audible, and turns her face towards the window, opening it. The sudden wind blew her perfectly straight hairs in the air, which is bad, like real bad, because her hairs are wavy, they take long to actually settle down.

She feels the wind, the cold that touched her warm cheeks, she always loved cold more than hot, because in her defense, whenever she drink something hot, her glasses get fogged up, what a tragedy. Her lips curl upwards slightly, as she leans her head on the window but the sudden bump on her head due to the fast pace of the train made her remember, unfortunately, "You are not the main character, lenny." she sighs and look at the door, half excepting someone to join her, but then she shrug and chuckle because sometimes you want something, but that doesn't mean you need it...well in her case, she needed friends too.

The train to Hogwarts was a momentous occasion for Marty. In his head, he tried to make it casual, “whatever!” like some kind of reverse psychology would keep him from nervously ruining everything on his first day.
“You’re allowed to be a little nervous. It’s perfectly normal.” His father said, as if reading his mind.
“I’m not scared, Papà. I know what I’m supposed to do. It’s gonna be great. ” He said, almost so he could believe it was true.
“There’s always room for some adventure. Not everything’s part of some plan.” His father tried to reassure.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” His mother asked at the same time.
“I know.” Martín responded to his father. “I’m not boring or anythin’.” He said, almost offended.
His father bent down to see him eye to eye. “I know you aren’t. Come here.” He opened for a hug.
They embraced for a moment, and his mother came up to give him a kiss.
“Your grandparents wanted to be here. They’ll send you a package when you get to school.” She whispered.
“Can you make sure it’s some good sweets?” He pleaded.
She smiled. “Yes, I’ll make sure. Don’t be afraid of the sorting hat now, alright?”
“I’m not! I won’t!” Marty rushed to say.
They both laughed.
“Wherever you go, you’ll be wonderful. Yes?” His Ma asked delicately.
Martín couldn’t be more sure. “Like you and Granddad. I can do it. Ravenclaw.”
“Te quiero mucho.” “I love you so much.”
“Te quiero.” “I love you.”

He heard his father loudly shouting after him, and smiled. But fear replaced his nice thoughts. Who was he kidding? Stepping onto the train, Marty could hardly remember any of the plans he had a moment ago. He wanted to be sorted into ravenclaw, yes, but could he? Yes, yes, yes. He had to be. That was non-negotiable..
Okay, next, make friends on the train. Nope nope nope. Way too busy. How could anyone think he was funny if the car was so busy he couldn’t even get a word out? Nope. That wouldn’t work at all.
New plan… empty car. Take a deep breath, draw some scenery. Then figure out a plan for when he got to Hogwarts. The start of his entire future. Some time alone before then was necessary, it would do him good.
The Hogwarts Express began to move with a bump, and he rushed ahead. Muttering affirmations under his breath, he strolled into the next “empty” train car he saw. Only to be met with a lone girl sitting across the cabin.
Damn.
He couldn’t just walk back out now.
Okay, rethink the plan. Again.

The door suddenly opened, as if someone had heard her plea. She stared at the guy — which was rude, she knew but she couldn't help it! It was so sudden, she was...shocked and that's the kindest way to put it.

"Oh, hello," she said as soon as she was able to form words. The guy who seemed to be as shocked as she herself was, finally nodded and smiled, The kinda smile which seemed too genuine for someone they just met. He quickly took the seat in front of her and introduced himself, as he put the luggage beside him, like Lenny. He must've thought that's how you put the luggage, well too bad, he didn't know that that's not how you put it.

he was excited — too excited for someone as quiet as Lenny — but well that's good for her! she would not have to spend seven years alone now! Miracle!

"Hey. I'm Lenny Cosnova, call me whatever you like," she smiled, well her smile was small, and polite, not the kind of smile Marty had.

The door slid open again, startling them both. "Anything dears?" The chocolate lady, had finally arrived.

Elowin and her parents and sister walked towards king cross station. Her sister waved goodbye before Elowin and her mom and pops went through the enchanted wall to platform nine and three quarters. “Look Carlos- whispered Elowin to her rabbit- This is the start of our new life”. And she hugged her pops bye bye and kissed her mom on her cheek.

.As Elowin jumped onto the train she waved at her parents and slipped of to find a compartment. She slumped herself down into one and slept. After she woke up a rattling metal sound reached her ears. The chocolate lady had arrived. “Anything from the trolley, dearie?” She asked. “A pumpkin pastie and a cauldron cake please.” Elowin said handing over the money. She then for some mad reason decided to walk along the corridors and found herself engaging in conversation with the Chocolate lady, who actually was very pleasant company. The chocolate lady stopped at many doors to offer the trolleys evidence, but for some inexplicable reason she poked her head in one of them. There was a girl and a boy sitting there. They had looked startled when the chocolate lady had opened the sliding door and said “Anything, dears?”. And Elowin said “hi!, may I come in?”

The September morning was damp and grey, Rowan loved this kind of weather, it reminded her of the quiet irish mornings in the church when everything was silent and she was the first to wake. Rowan stood on the hidden platform at Kings Cross, her too-big trunk resting against her leg.

Her mother looked smaller here, away from the high walls of St.Brigids, paler and more frail. She was wearing a simple navy coat over her long dress and was clearly trembling from the cold breeze. The woman was already small and fragile as it is, Rowan sighed. Her mother was a pitiful woman and it made her angry, or sad-she couldn't decide- but she could do nothing about it. Her mother pulled her into a tight yet shaky hug, she smelled of soap and incense.
"I'll be all alone." she whispered into Rowan's hair.

Rowan hugged her tighter. "You'll be okay."

"Will I?" Evangeline pulled back, her hands cupping Rowan's face. They were cold. They always were. "You're all I have. You know that? You're my whole heart, and now you're leaving."

Rowan swallowed. "I'll write."

"Every week?"

"Every week."
Evangeline smiled, a barely there crooked smile . "Go on then."

Rowan clutched her trunk tighter, turned and walked toward the train. At the steps, she looked back. Her mother was still there, small and out of place amongst the crowd of parents and families saying their goodbyes to smiling children.

Rowan waved once. Then she climbed aboard.

The train was chaos, bustling students everyhere. Rowan dragged her trunk looking for an empty compartement. Sadly, as she was already late, she could find none.

Up ahead, the snack trolley lady was blocking a compartment doorway, struggling to turn her cart around in the tight space. The girl slipped through the crowd, grabbed a chocolate bar from the trolley in one quick motion, and slid past the woman into the compartment before she could react. One girl was poking her head inside, seemingly wanting to get in. Rowan payed her no attention.

Two people were already seated inside. A boy and a girl, about her age. Both had their trunks sitting next to them on the seats, taking up space instead of putting them up on the racks.

Rowan blinked at them for a second. Weird.

She hoisted her own trunk onto the overhead rack with a grunt, dropped into the seat by the window, next to the boy. She sat still for a moment, searching the station for her mother's tired face one last time but she couldn't find it.

Then she looked at them, offering a small, tired smile.

"Hi. I'm Rowan."

"Honey, you are going to be okay. Its the start off a new journey for you! Also for us," Lauren's mother said. "Easy for you to say. You're not the one who's going to be sleeping in a whole new world..." Lauren muttered under her breath, careful not to let her parents hear her.

Lauren was told by someone to go through the walls in between platform 9 and 10.

"So... um bye mum!" "--and dad!" she added as an afterthought.

Lauren hesitated just before the brick wall between Platforms Nine and Ten at King's Cross Station. From the outside, it looked completely ordinary—solid red brick, cool and unwelcoming. People rushed past her without a second glance, their footsteps echoing sharply against the high ceiling. For a moment, she wondered if she had imagined everything.

She tightened her grip on her trolley and took a breath.

Then she stepped forward.

The world seemed to ripple around her. The brick gave way, and suddenly she was standing on Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. Warm steam brushed against her face, carrying the scent of coal and metal. The sharp whistle of the Hogwarts Express cut through the air, loud enough to make her heart jump.

Everything felt louder here. Brighter.

Families crowded the platform, hugging tightly, speaking in hurried whispers or excited bursts. Owls hooted from their cages, feathers ruffling. A cat darted between her legs, and she nearly stumbled, laughing nervously under her breath. Trunks were stacked everywhere—some neat and polished, others scratched and worn, like they’d already seen years of magic.

Lauren felt small standing beneath the arched glass roof. The scarlet engine gleamed ahead of her, impossibly bold and alive, steam curling around it like breath on a cold morning. Her chest fluttered with a mix of nerves and something else—something warm. Excitement.

This wasn’t just a train platform.

It was a doorway.

She entered, looking for a train compartment, sadly only found one, taken by a group of other students.

She entered saying, "Um... hi? Im Lauren. Can I sit here?"

Being told what to do and actually going to do it are two very different things.

Ciel knew that. She had always known that. Being told owls were intelligent and could deliver letters and then waking up one day and seeing a letter on her table with a owl standing next to it and her parents exchanging a small smile was different. It was as astonishing as one day realising that she wasn't normal. It had been sudden. Like her Realising that she was consciously breathing. Realising that none of her friends could coincidentally make a book fall down from a tall shelf our of frustration or something as strange as that.

"We were going to tell you.." Mom had said softly , as she glanced at Dad. It was astonishing how she had just forgotten to tell Ciel that she and Dad were wizards !! Good ones too. But what had been that look between them. It was as if....

Never mind that.

She was here now and there was no going back. Dad and Mom had walked her through all of it. The train platform , the sorting ceremony.

Hogwarts...

All of them had shopped at Diagon Alley , although they all seemed to get lost just the same.

But like Ciel thought , thinking and doing were two very very different things.

Standing near the threshold of the cabin ,Ciel fought the urge to wipe her clammy hands again against her satchel. It wouldn't do any good if she was this nervous.

But the crowd wasn't making her feel any less relaxed. Students older and her age just walked about , finding friends or making new ones. She carefully made her way in, because it was about time she found a seat. Whether it be awkwardly intruding in on a group already familiar with each other or into a pack of students , strangers to each other.

Ciel was sure she'd make a friend or two.

She entered the first cabin that she chose randomly. Opening the door , she blinked , finding herself looking at the back of a girl. She tilted to the side , looking further in to find two others her age.

The girl who was in front of her , with her back towards Ciel had just introduced herself.

She smiled, peeking from behind Lauren.

" Hello, I hope you've got a room for one more ? "
