Pt.1: How I found out about old magic.
"I like being here. Kids my age will never be as interesting as books" is what crossed Marco's mind being in the library, also as he wandered past the Transfiguration section and into the deep, narrow aisles where the dust settles thick as snow I thought "at least be less of a grouch maybe girls would like you then!" Silly me he thought to himself.
It’s was quiet.
Well... not "study hall" quiet, but "the-castle-is-breathing" quiet.
The air here is cold. Marco shivering, but not because of the draft. It’s because hus fingers are tingling with the exciting prospect of finding a wonky book that NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT hehe.
He kept his eyes peeled combing through the stacks and shelves until he saw it, a book that looks completely misplaced, "look at this beaut!" He exclaim as he reached for it. It’s not bound in leather or cloth, but in something that feels like - cold, grey stone - yet it’s as light as a feather.
There’s no title on the spine. When he touched it, he doesn't feel paper. He felt a heartbeat!
Then his eyes fell on the outer layer...
The First Echo: Primal Magic.
Also there is a faint name on it too he can't quite read; the letters shift every time he blinks but he made it out " I think it's the author... Joseph Candreva".
"This" he smirked.
"This I like..."
