Running out of Air PV

Willow kept on talking, while the Slytherin finally calmed down.
Finally built up the imaginary wall again, brick by brick. It would keep the pain at bay, until she would break down again. Unseen next time hopefully.
Willow said, that everyone made mistakes, whatever Opeila had done couldn't be that bad. If she knew. But Opeila didn't tell her. She hadn't told anyone. Some people knew part of the story, but by far not enough to understand. And Opeila wanted to keep it that way. How could she ever look at someone again, if he knew...?

She tried to let Willow's words in, tried to believe them. No one would judge her. It was not as bad as she thought it was.
But it was.

When Opeila hugged the tiny Hufflepuff, she wrapped her arms around the Slytherin as well, telling her that she would be there for her. She couldn't say a lot, of course not, how could she. But she wanted to help.

Was that part of the Hufflepuff character traits? Possibly. Did it mean anything? Probably not. But in this moment, where Opeila slowly could breathe properly again, where she just needed someone to be with her, it did mean something.
Opeila would stay in that position, her arms wrapped around Willow, for quite a while, until she was sure that she had finally control over herself again.

When she went to bed about 30 minutes later, there was one thing she was sure of.
Willow Anderson was more than she had thought first. There was more than the weird bracelet girl in this person.
Opeila would value Willow a lot more in the future.
