Blank. That's all her face was. No smile. No frown. She just looked infront of her. Step by step, the young Prefect made her way to the only place where she knew she could feel hidden. Ironic, with all those sad students. They all came here for the same reason. They all felt broken. Some things inside didn't work the way they were supposed to. Just like the sinks and toilets here. It was as if they could walk around in their own head and be surrounded by their impurities. As if each crack and leak represented a trouble of their own. It was like a sanctuary to them. A place where they could find the answer to whatever troubled them. It was all here... Or so they thought...

Carefully, Nico set foot inside, gently pressing the door open. Her deadlooking eyes scanned the area; there was no one to be seen. Good. This would do. After she closed the door behind her, she observed. The bathrooms never changed. A room forgotten to even the Professors. For ages. It was as if time itself didn't exist here. A parallel universe to some sort of... different universe in which Hogwarts wouldn't continue to exist? Maybe... She pondered some more about this idea. Not that it really interested her. It was just a thought. A speculation. A play with fantasy and reality. Heh. Amusing.

Stepping towards one of the shattered mirror, her eyes glanced at her reflection. She looked perfect. As usual... As is tradition. Her skills never failed. Her make-up was flawless. However, the spark in her eyes wasn't there. Not even the red piercing dots. Not yet atleast. Her pale fingers gently tapped on the mirrors surface. It was cold. Just like her.

It had been a little while since she finally recovered from that nearly lethal attack in the Common Room of green and silver. Why did they even have to experience that... Carefully, she turned down, watching her leg which used to be inky black. It was back to normal now. Mostly. However, the memories never left. The screams, the tears., the absolute chaos... It was terrifying. Quickly, she shook the thought out of her head. Don't. Quietly, she wrapped her arms over one another, and sat down in a corner of the Bathrooms. Out of sight of whoever would enter or wouldn't. Her iceblue hues staring at the floor infront of her feet.

That one restroom. The place that wasn't commonly checked and where secrets were revealed. That was the Gryffindor's assumption at least when she entered casting a few nervous glances before making her way to one of the leaking sinks with a mirror. Reaching into her robes, she pulled out a necklace, a pearl necklace with a red jewel that had a grinning skull engraved into her. It seemed to be glowing as it stared back up at her. Reminding her. Informing her of who she was, where she came from and what she was destined to be. It was a harsh reality that Elena had to accept and one she struggled with, there was no resolution to it, at least not one that she was capable of coming up with. "It's all useless...why do I try> It seems like every time something good happens, there's a price to pay." She muttered to herself turning the necklace over and over in her hand. The grinning skull piece embedded in her image as images of the hurt, the pain and the bullying flashed through her brain. That's all she was, a tool to be used, her family cared little for the morality of raising a child, they were pushing their own agenda with her and that was the irritating thing.

At least Vivian and Darren had made her feel whole. Complete. That had been ripped away from her. Vivian was deceased in some 'tragic accident' as her parents called it and as for her brother, he was being summoned before the Wizengamot..for criminal charges and they wanted to talk to HER. She knew he wasn't guilty and knew who was behind it but the looming fact she couldn't change the outcome ticked her off. "DAMN IT!"It boiled over as she let loose a scream flinging the necklac away from her watching as it slid to a corner to the restroom the ever-grinning skull looking at her. It had been enchanted in a way, the eyes sort of moved so her parents could keep an eye on her via that horrendous thing..she wasn't sure how it worked but they had threatned her if she ever dared to remove it.

The tears dripped down her eyes as she exhaled and inhaled as if attempting to calm herself. It was not working, the weight of the situation was too great. People always saw the nice and smiling side of her, hard-working Elena Jangleton, most friendliest person you'll meet. But then, there was the real her. The depressed, hurt and angry side of her that erupted when she thought back to where her roots came from...it was..the real her she had been forced to act as and it was taking a toll on her..mentally and physically. "Don't...want to....do this anymore.."She didn't care anymore about the tears that flowed freely down her cheeks as she stared..stared at the smiling skull necklace. Reminding her..telling her..so that she knew. So that she was aware she was here only by her parent's wishes and that the Gryffindor would fall in line. "Just go away, will you.."She muttered slumping down as if pondering to retrieve the thing or leave it here. No one would know..except a few... she buried her face into her knees hiding it as her hands and body shook. Too much, it was too much.

Savannah went to the Abandoned Toilets, sure, she wasn’t allowed, sure, it was pretty creepy in there, but she told her friend, Grace that she would meet her there, it was all in the letter she wrote, it had said: “Grace, meet me in the Abandoned Toilets, there is nothing wrong, I’m just bored and all, sorry if this is a risk to you, Xoxo, Annah” she still didn’t know why she sent that to her rule following friend, she just thought maybe she wanted to hang out or whatever. Annah opened the rusty, moldy, door, and she couldn’t believe what she saw, her prefect, Nico Shymane was there, Savannah jumped, would she get in trouble if she got any further? She sighed, deciding to do it, she walked in, waving at the pale girl, “Umm hi, Nico, righ’? I’m sorry, I know I shouldn’t be here” Annah blushed a light red, and looked down, biting her lip very hard, causing it to start bleeding, Savannah cursed under her breath as the blood trailed down to the white shirt under her robes, staining it. Savannah groaned, great, she walked up to a sink and washed the blood up, but the sink was broken.

Grace sighed, her hair in her face flew up as she breathed, she used a clip to put it up. Grace looked at the note again, Savannah sent it, but she didn’t understand why she was taking such a huge risk, but Savannah was her friend, so she entered the Abandoned Toilets, she saw Savannah and waved. Grace walked up to her bushy hair friend and noticed her lip was bleeding, “When does you lip ever not bleed?” she joked, laughing, but then Grace turned around, the Slytherin prefect was there, she was quite pale, Grace bit her nail “I’m sorry, I-I know I’m not s-supposed to be here!” Grace looked at Savannah and pulled her, “Let’s go Annah!” but she knew Savannah wouldn’t leave, she was brave, Grace’s lip trembled, she played with a lock of her hair for a while, she turned back to Savannah, her lips still bleeding, Grace dug through her bag and got a tissue, she kept them there in case she had a cold and for her allergies, but now she also carried them around for Savannah, who did have a a bit of biting her lips, Grace dabbed her tissue on Savannah’s lip. Grace smiled, and then thought about something, “Here, just carry around this so I can stop being the on to fix your lip” she smiled, taking a tissue box out of her bag and giving it to Savannah.

To be honest, Ana was not exactly sure what she was doing there. She hadn't worked out her way around the school yet, and had believed to enter a perfectly normal bathroom, with a row of neat, acceptably clean toilet cubicles and sinks. However, what greeted her on coming in was a dirty and stained mirror on one wall, with cracks and chips here and there. The sinks and toilets were in the same state, not to speak of the floor tiles, which Ana thought looked like nobody had cleaned up in here since the castle had been built. One more reason to hate this school.
Furthermore, Ana unwillingly witnessed a very peculiar scene in front of her. One girl crying heavily, one sitting in the corner of the bathroom - she was startled on seeing her, hidden away in the shadows where it was easy to miss her, was that the intention? - a third girl nursing the fourth one's bleeding lip.
Looking around for a while, Ana was not quite sure where to go, but settled on joining the girl in the corner. The bleeding student seemed to have a minor injury only, additionally, she was already cared for. The witch slumped down by the sinks was sobbing loudly, which kind of unsettled Ana, but sometimes the quietest ones were those most in need of help.
"Hey... My name's Ana", she said in a quiet, soothing voice very atypical for the bold and outspoken first-year. "What's going on? Are you OK? How can I help?" She reached out with a quivering hand and placed it on the girl's knee. Slightly bending down her head, Ana tried to make her look her in the eye. "What's wrong?"

Practicly curled up in what might be the darkest corner of the Bathrooms, Nico heard the door opening. As expected. She didn't respond, her eyes still closed, just listening. There was... muttering, whispering, despair,... It stayed quiet for the most part. Was the girl talking to herself? That wasn't really strange. Everyone did in the end... Every soul that would wander here would know they'd be here alone. Just them and themselves. Or... their demons. The muttering undertone suddenly peaked as something seemed to be thrown... Slightly, Nico opened her eyes, once more looking at the ground near her feet. Something shiny had been flung her way, most likely by accident. What was it?

The redhead gently pulled her legs up abit more, carefully sitting up, leaning slightly forward to take a better look. A necklace? A creepy one at that. The girl started to give in to her demons, so Nico thought. A darkness that loomed over peoples shoulders. She knew what that was. It never really left. It just... followed you, always staying a few steps back. Never leaving.

Slowely, Nico picked up the skull shaped jewel and observed it. Her eyes had already completely adjusted to the shade of the bathroom stall beside her, noticing the ennerving smile the skull flashed at her. 'Odd..' She muttered, quietly under her breath. Usually, the sobbing of a student would worry the Prefect. She'd stay by their side and help them the best way she could. Yet now, it didn't. It was sad... sure. But she didn't feel the need to walk up to them. Why should she?...

Soon after, two girls dropped in. One after another. Even though Nico was out of sight, one of them, for some reason Nico couldn't fathom, noticed her immediatley. The dhampir still had her eyes on the jewel and didn't pay too much attention to the fellow Slytherin student, even when she apologised for being there. It just didn't matter to her. Savannah ended up biting her lip, bleeding a little. Nico could smell the iron. She wasn't really hungry... She just felt very on edge. Of course, what else could she expect in a room full with cracks and broken objects. Someone was bound to cut themselves loitering here...
A blonde stepped up to the brunette, aiding her, mentioning that again she was bleeding. Was it just Nico, or did people just love to start bleeding around her? Tiny cuts, at moments where her foodsupply was non existent or very low. The prefect let out a soft sigh when the girls attended to ones wounds. It surprised her that not one of them took notice of the Gryffindor girl, crying on the floor. On her knees. Ridiculous...

A last person walked in. She seemed more attentive then the duo. Nico kept fiddling with the necklace, until the girl approached her. She was gentle and caring. The dhampir felt this yet didn't engage. As if her true self had no say of what her body would do or could do. She allowed the girl to touch her knee. It didn't phase her. Usually, she'd jump or scitter away. But now... It didn't matter.

'I'm... I'm okey.' What a lie. Of course she wasn't okey. Far of it. She was gone. The warmest Prefect of Slytherin with half the heart of a bloodsucking creature, was now just... something or someone else. Honestly, she didn't know where to go with this pain. This weird grieve. 'I just needed a..breather.'

Rather disturbed and not by herself anymore, Nico stood up slowely. Making sure she didn't trip over any rumble. 'I'll be fine..' A blank look on her face, ice cold eyes that looked even colder with her new found attitude. Keeping her back straight, she still held onto the necklace and carefully walked past Ana, now stepping into the light for everyone to see. Her schooluniform had gotten dirty but that was the least of her problems. 'What is this?' She adressed the girl sobbing on the floor, as she showed her the necklace in the palm of her hand. Seeing the way she cried, it reminded Nico of herself. In an eerily way. Usually she'd cry out her eyes whenever something was wrong. Not this time. She was just tense... Like a cold time bomb, waiting for the right buttons to be pushed to set her off...

It seemed after a while though that the luxury of being allowed to vent and rant in isolation was something that she would not get to enjoy. The door to the restroom opened and shut several times and before the Gryffindor knew it, it seemed to be teeming with students in here. Today just had to be the day as she glanced at them throug her watery eyes. Though, it seemed they had far more pressing matters on their hands than to attend to the grieving Gryffindor which was perfectly fine with her. She didn't expect help or need any sort of condolence from any one..though it would have been nice to have just a couple of more minutes of peace and quiet. One of the females happened to be bleeding, some sort of injury? Elena really wasn't paying that much attention to the ongoing converstation making no attemp to clean up the tears that rolled down her cheeks.

They had already seen her in her depraved state so what was the point? Her eyes lay riveted on the heirloom she had flung across the room as it suddenly dissappeared from view..as if something had picked it up. The girl blinked a few times as if comprehending what she was seeing. There were a few voices coming from that corner as well, had there been someone all this time? Well, that was just fine and dandy. She had garnered a entire audience to witness her breakdown and that only worsened the situation. She steadied her shaking hand though simply stared at the tiled floor seeing a faint reflection of herself in some areas, the bloodshot eyes, the disheveled hair, she was just a mess. A sign of what her obstacles had done to her.

A voice broke through her cloud of depression and she glanced up eyes falling onto yet another girl. She hadn't been one of those who had entered..Elena presumed she was here before herself. She'd heard it all, it meant and her features were very pale..un-naturally pale. The Gryffindor felt a bit.unnerved in a sense. Though, displayed in her hand was that evil grinning skull necklace thta sent shivers down her spine. "Please..just..d-don't.."Exactly what Elena didn't want the girl to do was unclear as she scooted a bit putting some distance between the horrendous dark item and herself. She couldn't exactly spill all the secrets of that..thing..no...her parents would..yeah, that would be a far worser sight than what was going on here. "It's..just...a heirloom thing...c-can..I have it?" She opened her hand eyeing the jewel with a sort of hostility. She was resigned to this fate..and it hurt. A lot. But she couldn't risk it..there were too many ears around.

"I'm... I'm okay. I just needed a breather." Ana bit her lip; the Prefect was clearly lying. Something was obviously wrong. It showed in the way she stood up, wobbly and slowly, as if she might collapse at any moment. It was in the blank, empty expression of her pale face and in the look of her icy blue eyes.
As she got to her feet, Ana caught a glimpse of an object in the girl's hand. Something shiny, possibly out of metal, a skull with a somewhat creepy grin. The chain that dangled from it identified the jewel as a necklace.
Ana also stood up and followed the Slytherin with a few small, tentative steps as she approached the sobbing Gryffindor. "What is that?", the Prefect asked, extending her hand with the skull necklace towards her. "Please..just..d-don't..", the Gryffindor stuttered, her face still streaked with tears. "It's..just...a heirloom thing...c-can..I have it?"
Ana frowned, unsure what to make of the girl's behaviour. She had always been an outspoken one, never having trouble with asking uncomfortable questions or being honest, no matter what the situation was. "What's up with that... thing?" She shuddered slightly upon seeing it again. Something about the skull's grin sent shivers down Ana's spine. "I mean, this is really odd. You said you wanted to have it back, yet you backed away from it like it was, I don't know, a cursed thing. Is it? Where did you get it from?" Ana got to her knees, trying to come to eye level with the girl. "Do you need help? What is that?"

It's Cassie's sixth day at Hogwarts. After the tour that she done earlier with the other 1st year, after the Sorting Hat ceremony, she wonders the school on her own but not all of it she takes good look at. Sometimes she walks aimlessly to kill the time she have until her classes can start. 4 day to go until I can attend all of my classes. This castle is huge, good thing I still have 6 years to go, Cassie thought.

Cassie just come out from the Great Hall, intended to go back to her dorm room - Narcissa Malfoy Dormitory - but it seems she got lost. Wait! should I turn left or right? Damn that moving staircases! Cassie grumbled. She know that she in fact was lost so she continues her journey, until she meet a door. She pushes the door open. The sight behind the door was filthy. Yeah, filthy was the least Cassie can say regarding to this room.

The tiles are dirty and she assume the stalls also the same state like the tiles. The walls have cracks and stains so is the mirror on top of the sinks. Then she realize, she isn't the only one in the room. She see her Prefect, the one with the read head - was it Nicky, Niki or Nico? Cassie bad with names to the people she's really interacts with but then again she needs to go out more.

Near Nico - I think it's her name, Cassie still trying to remember the redhead - are a Gryffindor girl and a Ravenclaw girl she met earlier when they did an errand to decorating cupcakes and the other 3 types she can't remember. The one with mad decorating skills, Cassie compliment. Elsewhere, there's two girls near the sink. By the looks of the rusts around the faucets and sinks, that thing broken and unused.

The first girl, had a bloody lips and the other one dabbed her friend lips with a tissues and offer the said thing to her friend. Cassie smile at the sweet gesture. For something so cold and eerie, this place isn't that empty Cassie chuckles. Nico come out from where she was and approaches the Gryffindor. She holding some sort of necklace.

Cassie can see the detail of the necklace. It's a skull looking shape with an eerie grin. Cassie isn't the type of person that easily get spooked but somehow the necklace that belong to the other girl sent chills down her spine. Cassie vaguely hear Nico asking the girl. "What is that?", the Prefect asked, extending her hand with the skull necklace towards the girl.

"Please..just..d-don't..",The Gryffindor girl stuttered, her bloodshot eyes contrast to her skin tone. "It's..just...a heirloom thing...c-can..I have it?"The girl said to Nico. Cassie intrigues how the girl afraid of the necklace but yet at the same time she seems didn't want the necklace got lost or something.  Then the curly haired girl being who she is, - a Ravenclaw - speak up her mind.

"What's up with that... thing?"The girl shuddered slightly upon seeing it again. Something about the skull's grin sent shivers down the Ravenclaw's spine or to whomever hold and see that, Cassie thought. "I mean, this is really odd. You said you wanted to have it back, yet you backed away from it like it was, I don't know, a cursed thing. Is it? Where did you get it from?"The curly haired girl got to her knees, trying to come to eye level with the Gryffindor. "Do you need help? What is that?"The Ravenclaw asks.

Cassie wants to approaches the other three but she opted to stand where she is right now, not far from them. Cassie afraid if she decides to approaches the other three, the Gryffindor girl feels overwhelmed, scared or even suffocate and flee from the site. So for the time being, she keeps her attention to the three girls from afar.

As Nico held the ornament close to the former owner, the girl asked her to put it away. The tense vibrations in her voice indicated that she seemed fearful. Of this little thing?

"Please..just..d-don't.."

Slightly puzzeld yet intrigued, the dhampir looked abit closer at the skull. Something did feel off about it. It wasn't an oridnairy jewel that one could buy in a store. And that, she got right.

"It's..just...a heirloom thing...c-can..I have it?"

What? She just threw it away. Yelling at it. Surely she couldn't be serious about wanting it back? Her ice blue eyes looked over at the Gryffindor, still in tears on the floor, trying to reach for the tossed away object. 'Just.. a heirloom? Just a few minutes ago, you wanted it to stay away from you. And now you want it back?' Furrowing her eyebrows slightly, Nico blinked in surprise. Even in her awful state of mind, clouded by poisonous thoughts, she knew something was off about this. 'What does it do? What does it mean to you? What kind of precious heirloom do you scream at to stay away from you?'

Nico felt an intense urge to hold on to the jewel. Not because it affected her the way it did Elena, but because she noticed how it seemed to haunt the Gryffindor. When a last slytherin entered the bathrooms, Nico didn't pay much attention to her. Everyone could come and go in here. What did it matter to her? The only thing that had caught her interest was this situation between this girl and her precious family jewel. 'I have a suspicion that his jewel... isn't doing much good to you.'
