Meeting With a Friend
I sat on my slightly snow covered, pink plaid, picnic mat waiting for Natasha. I was wearing my fluffy white jacket to keep myself warm. I saw Olivia, Maya and Sophia walk down. I smiled. Finally Natasha was going to meet them! I started unpacking the food. I had this three tired platter with heart shaped finger sandwiches, I also had some chicken soup to keep us warm. It is my grandma's recipe and the carrots were cut into stars and hearts. The bowls that had the chicken soup in them were shaped like hearts. I of course brought hot chocolate and whipped cream and marshmellows. The girls were getting closer and I pulled everything out of the basket my Grandma sent to me. When she came shopping in diagon ally she bought me a basket that could hold LOTS of things. My guess that it was an undetectable extension charm. I've read all about them. "Heyyy! Guys come over!" I shouted to Olivia, Maya, and Sophia. They started running towards me. I gave each girl a hug. " We haven't seen each other in FOREVER!" I exaggerated. It's only been since lunch but after lunch I have no classes with them. " I don't miss you AS much." I said turning to Olivia. "I saw you like 20 mins ago. I invited someone to join us today!" I told them. " I was WONDERING why there were 5 bowls instead of 4!" Sophia said taking a seat on the picnic blanket. "Can you tell us more about her?" asked Maya. "She's coming right now!" I said looking towards the castle where Natasha was a few feet away from us. I stood up and greeted her. " Natasha, these are my friends. Maya, Olivia, and Sophia." As I said their names, they stood up and shook Natasha's hand and gave a brief introduction"Hi, i'm Maya. I'm a hufflepuff and I LOVE to bake. I'm half blood. My mother is a witch and my father is a muggle.". Maya explained. Olivia went next."My name is Olivia. Fun fact I share a name with Tina's sister. I'm a muggle born and i'm a first year Ravenclaw and my favorite scent is lavender and parchment. " So we are telling favorite scents? Mine is honey and vanilla." Maya said not wanting to be left out. " My name is Sophia. I'm a Gryffindor and a pure blood. How did we not meet in the common rooms? Anyway my favorite scent is pine and cinnamon. Even if Tina HATES the smell of cinnamon." I rolled my eyes. Lets sit down and chat. AND eat some of that homemade soup...

Meeting With a Friend
I came down to the Great Lake. Excited to meet Tina and her friends. They were all on a little picnic mat and talking to each other. As I came near them, Tina rushed up to me and introduced everyone. I had to admit; I was a bit overwhelmed by all that.
After they all made their introductions, it was my turn to.
"I'm Natsha Blackwood. I'm a Gryffindor and I love cats. I'm a half - blood. And since you're all telling your favourite scents, mine's basil and lemongrass. " I said.
Maya, Olivia and Sophia were all ready to start eating and talking. I felt a bit nervous. I didn't really any of these people. They took out some bowls of homemade soup. It looked good! I wanted to talk about something, so I asked -
"So, what is everyone's favourite subject? Mine's potions, but I'm best at Astronomy and History Of Magic."
I had gotten an O on every assignment in History Of Magic and Astronomy. They weren't too interesting, but they were easy. Potions on the other hand was really interesting and she loved it! She almost had an all Os in Potions, but on her latest homework assignment, she had gotten a miserable E.

We were all sitting eating our soup. "So, what is everyone's favourite subject? Mine's potions, but I'm best at Astronomy and History Of Magic."
Natasha asked. “My favorite subject is charms I don’t know what I’m best at though.” I replied. I looked around then leaned in and whispered,”I have tea! No not tea like the suff you drink!” I said catching Sophia and Natasha’s confused glances. ”Tea is like gossip and drama. I hate getting into drama but the other day…” I looked around once again. It was freezing outside and no one in their right mind would come out here so I was pretty sure we were alone. I hesitated I didn’t want to spread rumors, but I could’ve keep this for myself. I then took out a beautifully frosted cupcake out of my bag, ”There are still some cupcakes in there you know?” I mumbled. I held the cupcake in my hand and said, ”The other day I saw Valencia Rosegold and Rusty Singer in the hallway. You know the two Slytherins and they were talking abt cutting class, but I SAW the chemistry like seriously tho…” after I said that in one big breath I stuffed the entirety of the cupcake in my mouth…

Ooh... Natasha loved gossip. She picked up a cupcake and listened to her story.
"I have a pretty good story too. You know Colin McCoire? He used to like Clair Fernandez, but something happened and now everyone ships him with Emily Shepard. BUT, he still claims he likes Clair. So, what's happening?"
She had heard of the story in gossip club, which she was in. Gossip was sooo fun!
"Colin's pretty cute, so I don't know why Clair would reject him. IF she did. I still don't really know the whole story."
She put the cupcake in her mouth and savoured the taste for a bit. It was pretty good. The soup was also really warm and homey. The lake rippled as the squid touched its surface. This was really good scenery. If she ever went on a date, this would totally be the place.
Natasha was dying to play her first game of spin the bottle. She had heard it was super popular here at Hogwarts. Though, she had never seen people play.

My eyes widened at the news. My jaw would have dropped but I haven’t finished chewing my cupcake. It wasn’t exactly bit sized. I finished chewing me cupcake. “Your KIDDING!” I exclaimed. I felt bad about talking about people behind their backs. But there was someone I really didn’t care about gossiping about. My sister. ”You may not know this but I have a sister named Olivia who’s 10.” I started. ”For Christmas Break my family went to Switzerland. And my family skis. So my sister is skiing with us. Thinking that she is so much better than us. She jumps. FALLS, then somehow breaks. Her. Ski!” I said, almost all in one breath. I bit my lip and my thinking face went on. I wanted to get some homework done. I didn’t want to sound like a know it all or a teachers pet or someone who’s like a workaholic who doesn’t know how to relax. But I had to. ”do you guys want to go to the library to get some work done?” I can help you with transfiguration if you guys would like. I mean we don’t HAVE to go. I just want to get some work done. Maybe for practical spells maybe an abandoned classroom?”
