Of course, no matter rain or shine, the people of Hogwarts will still be here for quidditch, it wasn't the most famous wizarding sport for nothing. That was Aston's thoughts as he braved the cold in the air to get to the moderator's box, still mentally preparing for his first time as a quidditch moderator.Date: 7th February 2026
Time: 1 pm
Weather: Cloudy and cold, with intermittent freezing rain
"Welcome everybody to another fantastic quidditch game! I know the weather is quite horrid today but I assure you this match will be worth it!" Aston started his announcing with the same energetic joy he tries to display in all of these events, after players begin walking out to the pitch in the green and yellow gear and Aston looking through his notes one more time, it continues. "Here we have the Slytherin team and the Hufflepuff team, I am certain all of them will be putting in their best effort today! For Slytherin, we have Captain Charlotte Winfield guarding the hoops, Rafal, Milica, and Captain Cecilia Merrick going for the quaffle, Percival and Oliver as the beaters, and seeker Violeta Roux along with Cassandra, Jada, Aamon, and Nabi Cheering them on from the bench!"
Leaving a brief pause for any cheers or boos, the announcing soon continued. "And for the Badgers! Keeper Atlas Reid will be guarding the hoops from any chasers, Camilla, Pamela, and Captain Mamoei Anezaki as the chaser, beater Avery McCall and Sage Willows with Seeker Daphne Sapphirus! Lastly there is Landon, Lyanna, Gabriele, and Callum supporting from the bench. Alright now, Let the match begin!" A sharp whistle blows and with that, the game begins.
