The smile quickly fades as Oli realizes how many students are in the classroom. She looks around the columns that make up the desks and seats within the classroom, inhaling softly as anxiety starts to brew up within over having to sit close to so many people. It was nothing compared to her first day at Hogwarts, when she was sorted into Ravenclaw in the Great Hall, but it was still so new to her.
Quietly she walks over to an empty seat and sits down, placing her books, parchment and inkwell down neatly. Her quill remains clutched in her right hand, her gaze occasionally looking over to the Professor, then some of the other students, particularly the more outspoken and loud ones. But for most of the time her gaze lingers either directly into her desk, or on the floor that makes up the walkway between the two inner rows of seats and desks.
Students continue to flow into the room to Olivia's great discomfort, but this was to be expected as this is a classroom and they are in school. Figuring that the class was most likely to begin very soon, Olivia picks up her inkwell with her left hand before she puts down her quill onto the desk. Opening the inkwell slowly to not spill any ink, she proceeds to place it back down onto the desk though not before picking up her quill again. With her free left hand Olivia reaches over to her textbook, preparing to open it to whichever page was required for the lesson, and her gaze once more scours the room in search of anything suggesting which page the study material could be found on.
That is when she spots the large bookcase by the door into the classroom. A soft gasp escapes her at all the books in it, her eyes widening with peaked interest. A mental note is made to remember to check out the titles of all those books, maybe there is some interesting topics there to study at a later date when she has spare time! Assuming of course that these books were only found here and not in the Ravenclaw private library or the main school library.

The first day of classes at Hogwarts and Laasya was exhausted. Then came, 'History of Magic', which was basically History class, but make it about magic. Laasya, being Laasya had read the textbook associated with it, and it was kind of like the regular history she learnt in muggle school, only it was about witches and wizards. Many children would think this subject was rather boring, considering there was not much wand-waving, but for a muggle born like Laasya, it seemed rather easy and fun, but not as fun as Charms.

Laasya entered the classroom. There weren't too many windows, but it had a nice cozy feeling to it. There were plenty of candles scattered around. There were four columns of desks in the classroom, and on the walls were plenty of maps and paintings. Next to a desk that definitely belonged to the professor was a bird perch, which was occupied by a little Eastern Screech owl. At the back of the room was a huge bookshelf, filled with books about many, many topics, whether it was about Transfiguration, Charms, Magical Creatures or anything. Laasya wanted to start reading, considering these books were not found anywhere else but first she had to attend class.

Laasya scanned the classroom for a place to sit. There was a seat empty, so she walked over there, put her quills, ink bottle, textbook and parchment neatly on the desk and sat down. It took some time for Laasya to get used to using quills instead of the usual pen and pencils that muggles used, but it was fun to write with a tool that was probably used long ago. She looked at the seat next to her. There was a Ravenclaw sitting there, about her age. Maybe this was an opportunity to make more friends. She went up to her and said. "Hi, I'm Laasya, what about you?" The girl could answer back or ignore her and Laasya knew very well that her greeting was a tad too sudden but hopefully, the girl would respond.

With no more students entering the classroom, the lesson begins and the topic is revealed; ancient civilizations. Vague memories from her homeschooling brings civilizations like ancient Egypt to mind, and Olivia is left wondering if this will just be a refresher from what she had already been taught. But this was a lesson in history of magic, so perhaps there were things about these civilizations only wizards and witches know and as such she would learn something new.
Olivia occasionally peers at the gryffindor, whenever her curiosity was not stolen by loud sounds or students. "Do you like history?" Oli asks gently when there is a pause in the lesson, not wanting to disturb the lesson nor miss any information herself. "I am eager to learn about it." She states, not wanting the gryffindor to feel any pressure of having to admit liking it. While she waits for Laasya's reply, Olivia flicks her textbook to the page mentioned by the Professor before her gaze once more returns to study the Gryffindor with mild interest.
