Open to anyone! Flame speaking
Flame ran through the halls clutching her hand. She looked down at the long cut across her left hand and winced in pain as she ran remembering what had just happened.
She had been in potions class and Flame and her partner had been making a potion that involved a lot of different ingredients so she and her partner had both been cutting up different ones at the same time. She had been in potions for almost half a period and she had looked around noticing how even thought people were talking it was very serious in the room. Flame had been making a joke about it to her partner when the people at the table in front of her overheard. One of them started laughing and had stumbled and accidentally hit their cauldron full of boiling hot water and an assortment of other ingredients. The cauldron had tipped over and Flames partner had shoved her out of the way. Except that they still had a knife in their hand. They had cut a long slice across Flames hand.
She ran faster moving ducking and weaving through people. Her hand brushed against the wall and she winced it pain again. “OW!” she muttered. Flame turned the corner and ran straight into someone. She fell to the ground and looked down cradling her injured hand. “Sorry!” she said and then looked up at the person she had just ran into.
Someone told me I run like a girl. I said that if they ran faster they could to.

Olivia had just snuck out of her charms lessons successfully, no one had noticed her leave only her friends knew about it. The lesson was boring they weren't doing a practical as they had to learn about the backstroy and technicalities of the spell before attempting to cast it. However Olivia already knew all this, they were studying the Wand lighting charm, easily casted by wand movments and saying Lumos. Well it was easy for her as her brother had taught her about it, once her family had discovered she also possessed magic, she just needed to learn how to cast it. Olivia was now wandering aimlessly around the school looking for places she had not explored yet, hoping to come across a secret passageway way or just end up somehwere new, she had a lot to unravel still. She excitedly turned the corner when an angry fifth year came her way, "Hey Cuthburt,", they yelled as they began walking towards her, but Olivia almost immediately turned her back and began running to avoid a confrontation she was not prepared for.
She ran as fast as she could not looking ahead but rather focused on avoiding the student as the student continued to call for her when someone ran straight into her. She froze as the girl fell to the ground making Olivia forget she was being chased for a second and look down. "You really should watch where your going," she said a little annoyed not paying the girl much attention, she had a student to evade afterall.
Olivia was about to leave when she noticed some blood seeping from the girls hand. She knelt down beside her a slight bit of worry now on her face, "Hey, are you ok?" she asked, as she looked into her bright green eyes. "I know you, you're Flame right?, that looks pretty bad, lets take you to get this seen," she said holding out her hand to help her up. "That is if you don't mind running there," she finished with a smile, hoping to lighten the mood a little.

Flame took the girl's hand. She recognized her from lesson's and around the school. Flame was pretty sure that She was a Hufflepuff. Olive? No, her name was Olivia! As the girl helped pull Flame to her feet, she made sure to not touch her injured hand to anything. "Yeah my name is Flame." She said "I definitely don't mind running, it's one of my favorite things. You're Olivia right?" Flame really hoped that was what her name was. Then she started speed walking so she could catch her breath and explain what happened to her hand.
"So I was basically in potions class, and I was cutting up some ingredients. I was making a joke because everyone was really quiet, and I honestly prefer when people are laughing." She thought back to the prank she had pulled on a Slytherin earlier that morning. The look on his face had been hilarious. " Anyway, one of the first years at the table in front of us laughed at my joke and accidentally knocked over our cauldron. My lab partner pushed me out of the way, but he was holding a knife, and it cut across the back of my hand." She winced as her hand started throbbing. They should probably start running now. " I ran out of the class and started trying to get to the hospital wing. I think you know what happened from there. Ready to start running?"

Olivia smiled, "That would probably be for the best," she said as the pair began running towards the hospital wing. The student was now no where to be seen Out of sight and out of mind, she thought to herself proud she had evaded trouble. Olivia kept on looking back at Flame ensuring she wasn't falling behind, "If you need to slow down we can," she reassured. Flame seemed like someone Olivia could get along with, Why had she not met her earlier, they could have had a lot of fun together, "Hey Flame what was the joke that caused such a chaos?" She asked curiously, being a prankster herself it would be a good way of figuring if they both had the same kind of style when it came to pranks.
They had nearly made it to the hospital wing when she saw the same student from earlier, Ah crap, she thought as she stopped Flame in her tracks, "We need to go anther route or hide for a while," she informed. Olivia looked around at the possible options before her eyes landed back on Flame, she tried to figure out if it was worth taking a longer route or to deal with the consequences of sneaking out of a lesson. However Olivia wasn't heartless, she needed to find out how much pain Flame was in without asking, she liked to keep a tough, apathetic image about herself with people she didn't class as close friends. Olivia quickly realised she was staring at Flame a little too long, "Oh by the way my name is Olivia don't forget it," she said with a smile.

Flame smiled at Olivia. She seemed like someone who liked a good joke and maybe even a prank? She turned to Olivia just as they slowed down. She muttered something to herself and then said that they had to take a different route. Flame winced and then watched Olivia as she stared at Flame assessing her. Flame felt a spike of pain go through her arm but made sure she didn’t show that she was in pain. Olivia looked away from Flame. Flame knew from the short time that she had been with Olivia that she felt like she could trust her. Flame was always assessing everyone one around her and was quite good at it.
“I’m fine.” she told Olivia. If there was something she needed to hide from or had some random reason it was probably a good on e and probably worth it. She looked around and pulled Olivia into a little cut out in the wall around the corner. “Just tell me what we have to do, and I won’t ask any questions.” Flame thought Olivia needed a little conversation lightener so she told her the joke from class. “A man walks into a bar with a pet duck. The bartender says, 'Hey, you can't bring that pig in here!' The man says, 'That's not a pig, it's a duck.' The bartender says, 'I was talking to the duck.” She told Olivia hoping she found it funny. “That was my joke from class by the way!”

Olivia burst into laughter, she was not expecting that. She remembered where they were and quickly put her hand over her mouth to stifle her laugh, "That's a good one," she whispered. Olivia was thankful that Flame reacted fast enough to find a small hiding spot. "If you're sure you're fine then we need to create a distraction," She informed, she hadn't figured out how just yet but she knew with Flame to help they would manage to fluke a plan. Olivia dug deep into her pockets trying to see if she had anything of any use before pulling out a couple of dungbombs and a packet of snaps. This should do nicely, she thought with a hopful smile, she always had something or another to work with. "If you know anything about muggle stuff you would know what this is," she said showing her the box of snaps, "If not i'll explain later," she whispered with a kind smile before handing Flame a dungbomb, "Follow my lead, if it goes wrong, improvise," she instructed.
Olivia took in a deep breath, she really did trust Flame for someone she had just met. Olivia nodded to herself as if to let her self know she was ready to commence, she lightly nudged Flame before counting down using her fingers. As soon as she reached zero she threw a few snaps in the opposite direction creating small snap sounds in the corridor, which caught the student's attention immediately, she then quickly threw her dungbomb in that same direction, creating a small ball of smoke and a horrible smell to fill the air. Olivia gagged a little but held her reaction together, magical things were always more stronger then muggle ones. This should help them get to the hospital wing as long as the student goes towards the commotion and leaves, she closed her eyes hoping for the best.

Flame smiled happy that Olivia had laughed at her joke. Olivia reached into her pocket and Flame watched her pull out a packet if snaps and a couple of Dungbombs. Flame smiled so Olivia could also prank judging by what she happened to have in her pocket. Flame thought about the dungbombs and U-no poo she had in her bag. Of course she knew what snaps were her dad was a muggle after all! She had 3 packets of snaps in her trunk and was carefully using them because she had to wait for her friend Jinx to send her more from back home.
Olivia threw the dung bombs and snaps into the hallway and Flame threw an extra dung bomb from her pocket for good measure. The smell didn’t bother her to much because she had grown used to it from the amount of times she had used them. She grabbed Olivia’s hand ( with her hood one) and gestured down the hallway. “Come on” she whispered “You don’t want to get caught do you?” She started running in the opposite direction holding her injured hand against her chest so that it didn’t get caught or brushed against people or the walls. She hoped Olivia hadn’t minded her grabbing her because Flame thought that they could maybe be friends.

Olivia let Flame guide her along the corridors. She didn't mind at all that Flame had grabbed her hand, she knew there was a friendship brewing and she was all for it, afterall two pretty girls getting up to no good together would be amazing, how could anyone resist them. Olivia smirked as she knew they would be able to get away with a lot, only downside was that they were in different houses, which meant they wouldn't always be together. The pair carried on running until they reached the doors to the hospital wing, "Thanks for the help," Olivia said with a smile as she caught her breath, "Now lets see that hand," she said grabbing it gently to inspect it better. It looked worse than before, Flame was clearly hiding her pain, "Why didn't you just say how bad it was," she said shaking her head a little worried now.
Olivia knocked on the hospital wing door frantically, come on come on Flame needs help, she thought as she became quite impatient. She looked back at Flame she was looking a little pale and the bleeding had still not stopped, "It must have been a deep cut," she commented, worry almost consuming her. Flame had sacrificed getting immediate help for her, she was genuinely grateful, people like that are rare and she knew from experience. Since Olivia was from a wealthy family that unfortunately meant she had met and seen many fake people. Olivia knocked once more, "Come on, it's an emergency," she shouted. "What do you say Flame, are we friends?" she asked holding out her hand.

Smiled when they reached the hospital wing door. Her hand was in searing pain and she could barely stand it anymore. “I didn’t tell you it was hurting this much because you obviously needed to get away from someone and I wasn’t going to slow you down. I know what it’s like doing pranks and jokes. I also know how people can get afterwards though.” Olivia was banging on the door trying to get someone’s attention. Flame put a hand to her head. She started feeling a little dizzy and was not going to do well from the loss of blood.
She looked at Olivia and then looked at the door. She hadn’t even tried the door handle. "What do you say Flame, are we friends?" Olivia asked her. Flame reached past her and twisted the door knob. “Yes.” she said “But you didn’t even try the door knob!” she twisted it and the door opened easily. Flame took her hand. “Are we doing whatever your plan was or are we going in?” she asked slightly wincing but trying to hide that from Olivia so she would stop worrying about Flame. “I’m fine with both but whichever one we do we should probably do it fast.” She smiled at Olivia waiting for her response.
