Sorry this took so long guys, I totally forgot

"Well, guys, what you think? Where shall we go?" Felix spun around to face the others. He didn't feel like choosing a direction right now anyways. "Who knows, maybe we'll find something cool! Something that's more of a selling point than dead rats and little bones, perhaps?" he directed that part mostly towards Evaline. he was glad they'd all agreed to check this out together. He'd thought at least one of them would chicken out.

He'd hardly ever been here purposely, really. Aside from the mandatory walk back to the common room or to Potions class, and a few late-night laps when he was particularly curious (or just particularly frustrated with things and wanting to keep moving), Felix usually kept to the upper floors, especially the towers. Didn't have a problem with the dark, just the lack of windows, and the views from higher in the school were absolutely splendid anyway, and it didn't seem worth it to explore down here in comparison to that. Not alone, at least.

Besides the common room and potions, you could probably walk any direction you wanted and find something new.
And the unused rooms down here were... interesting. Some were fixed up as seating areas (possibly study rooms?), mostly the ones closer to the Slytherin main rooms, some appeared as though they had been half cleared, only to be left alone once again. And some were just entirely untouched, dusty, with the occasional set of chains or miscellaneous animal remains (pretty much just bones by now) resting in the corners of the more... intentional rooms. Cells, he'd heard.
Felix had wondered many times why the school had ever had those in the first place. Seemed a rather strange addition to a place such as this. Maybe it was built up over the bottom floor? He'd probably read about it in 'Hogwarts: A History', but there was nothing he could recall at the moment that explained the need for dungeons at all, and he wasn't in the mood to go an read it over again.

There were a bunch of just regular nooks and such too. Mostly empty, great places to hide out, if needed, or to get some peace and quiet. Sound echoed, and it was possible to hear footsteps from a good ways away, so, unless they were making a conscious effort to remain unnoticed, it wasn't hard to miss when others were walking through.

Quite strange how the Hogwarts staff hadn't just repurposed all of this space. It could certainly be used for something, if it was tidied and cleaned up some.

Jada followed Felix into further into the dungeons. The place smelled musky and stale, as if it hadn't been visited in a while. They were, after all, still under the Lake. The corridors were dimly lit by various candles and lamps to make up for the lack of windows. She felt a chilly breeze wash over her face as a shiver found its way down her spine. Is it just me or is it a little cold in here? she asked.

The place was kinda freaking her out. What if we get caught? How ironic it would be if they all ended up in detention together... But she definitely wouldn't be the first to pull out, she'd never make herself look bad on purpose.

There was not much option as to where to go they were at an intersection with one path in front of them and another to either side. They all seemed identical to her so she didn't really have a preference as to which to take. I think we should keep going straight, she said Maybe we should use somethings as markers so we don't get lost? Getting lost in the castle at night was not a good idea, who knew what secrets lurked down there. If anything started coming after them their common room wouldn't be much safer than the rest of the dungeon due to its highly unfortunate location.

"It's a bit cold, yes. I suppose there isn't much heating down here." the common room was heated by the fire, and the dorms weren't too bad, but it felt cooler here. It was kind of nice, but he was glad to be wearing a sweater, for sure."No reason to have it. It's not like it's are used for much, beyond walking to Potions or the common room."

Felix looked at the three different corridors again. They all looked the same, but, then again, so did half the places in this place. He thought, out of three near-identical paths, no single one could be the worst or the best of them.

Might as well go with the most direct route, so he nodded at Jada's suggestion. "Straight's probably best for now. We can branch off later, maybe?" he spun in a circle before walking forward. "We won't need markers, the halls aren't that twisty". They were a tad...convoluted, in parts, but not bad enough to need any actual tracking, in his opinion.

Besides, all the fun was in the bit of risk. It would be actually hilarious if they really managed to get lost. Seemed difficult to do that here (the castle was only so big), but he laughed quietly under his breath at the thought. Who knew what was deeper in the dungeons! Maybe something creepy?

Jada appeared to be a little nervous, but he figured that'd go away once they found something cool. It didn't really matter at this point anyway. He considered tossing her some pop rocks (he had more in his pockets), and he did, holding a packet out to her (watermelon flavour, this time). It was his best strategy for winning people over (or just getting them to stop crying, in some situations). He had at least a half a dozen packets in his pockets. It was always good to be prepared.

Jada stared at the pop rocks in his hand. How many more of those did he have? His pockets must be pretty big, maybe he had them tailored to fit more candy. She accepted the packet. It was watermelon flavoured, not her favourite but not horrible either. She'd save them for later.

Well then... she murmured, mostly to herself, before starting down the hallway. Her rhythmic steps rang out as the soles of her shoes hit the cool stone floor. There was something unnerving about it. The untouched rooms, the thick layer of dust that coated everything and the dim lighting. At this point she wouldn't be surprised if there was a ghost that they'd never known of living down here.

She glanced towards Rosalyn and Evaline, who had been surprisingly quiet. She was glad that she wasn't alone. The entirety of the dungeons seemed to carry a kind of staleness in the air which made the whole place more ominous than it should. They were, after all, little more than classrooms and corridors like any other, just underground.

Exploring somewhere alone was something she was sure she'd never do. At least not without good reason. She turned her attention back to what was in front of her. The rows of classrooms seemed endless, and not very interesting either.

A blast of cold wind came towards her, seemingly out of nowhere. Wind? In the dungeons... she asked herself. How strange, I don't recall wind ever finding its way all the wasy down to the dungeons before. It seemed to be coming from a slightly further down the path. Maybe there was something to be found after all...
