It's going to be funny ...
December,
@Jack Burnett
@Jack Burnett
Brooklyn had come to get his brother and they had been walking near the park. Then, walking with their arms, they talked about their respective days.
-You will not believe me! A Slytherin Mudblood, besides I wonder what he does in our house, to create a special club for Mudbloods like this.
- Serious ?! I would love to see that! Even Mother would have thought it silly!
Their mother was only very rarely mentioned. When she and their father divorced, it was their father who obtained custody. Since then, she only speaks to them for Christmas or their birthdays. They do not complain. Their mother-in-law is much nicer than their mother.
- That is true.
- Then send him the hair of this fool, he understands!
- Mudbloods have nothing to do here!
While they continued to make fun of this fool, Jack Burnett, Anthony told him that he should not delay. He was resuming soon, and he had to go to his common room to take some scrolls. They continued to walk, alone, in the cold of the beginning of December, in the snow. They liked the snow, probably because we saw them less. Often they were compared to Albinos.
- I have to go. Sorry sister. We meet in front of the aviary at 7 p.m. Okay?
Brooke agreed and kept walking in the cold until she spotted someone she didn't know yet. Oh, it was going to be funny.

Jack was bored, and when he got bored, he got up to no good. Usually sitting down somewhere to read and compare his history books pacified him. Today, however, he was feeling especially restless. Upon looking through his things for something to do, he came across old notes he had written up for the club that he and Wren Caster had decided to co-found.
Jack hadn't really cared too much about it until he started getting owls and comments from the teachers regarding the name he specifically had picked for the club. In all honesty, it was that sort of confrontation he had hoped to encounter when he had the club in mind. Conflict and confrontation were so much more interesting than peace and harmony, especially when it came to learning how people handled it.
He wondered if there was a way to incorporate his love of such things into an activity for his club. Maybe a lesson or activity on how to react to condescending and haughty people. Even then, though, didn't that suggest that people would be bullied? Ideally, no one would know enough about muggle-born discrimination enough to take offense, let alone allow themselves to be bullied for it.
Ironically, Jack himself didn't really understand why muggles were looked down upon the way they were by purebloods. Even hearing Erin talk about it only kind of gave him a better idea of what purebloods thought of muggles and muggle-borns; not why. There were surely books on the subject, but how accurate could they be? If only he could find someone to actually discuss the topic with; to debate and reason with in order to see if they had any actual, good arguments.
Oh...well wasn't that interesting? Someone was staring at him. How long had they been there without him noticing? Regardless, there was an oppertunity for some entertainment at last and Jack wasn't about to let it pass him by. He walked over snickering.
"Hey," he spoke up. "Didn't your parents ever teach you it's rude to stare?"

Brooklyn looked like a sad little girl to see her idol as she was. She would have liked to answer that these parents were Muggles but that would ruin her whole plan. Being an exceptional actress, the only detail that could ruin her plan was her resemblance to her brother.
- Oh, sorry ... But I heard about what you did for Muggles ... It's incredible. Congratulations!
She gave him a small childish smile, fluttering her eyelashes. The only thing to do now was to wait for him to fall into the trap. She and her family would be so proud. Humiliating a Muggle-born was something ordinary and usual for the Pierce family. Brooke did not doubt that her brother had already taken care of Jack. Humiliated from brother to sister. Never seen.
- You must have had a lot of trouble, with all the Pureblood elites in your house!
She was playing the fake shy. She often did it when she wanted something. She often used this method with these parents in particular. The stroke of the false shy still worked. Tested, approved. If the state plan didn't work, she would be too ashamed. But even with the few words he had said, he looked like a Slytherin, so if he discovered the farce, it wasn't going to tell him that he didn't deserve his house.
The plan was planned from A to Z. All that was missing was the boy's naivety.

Jack blinked at the response given to him by the girl. As he had no idea who her brother was, he didn't associate her with him and thus didn't realize they were related. However, her words were equally perplexing to him.
What he 'did for muggles'? 'Congratulations'? What on Earth was she talking about? But when she went on about pureblood elites, Jack thought he might have understood what she'd been trying to say.
"I didn't do anything for any muggles," he answered. "But if you're talking about the Mudblood Club that Caster and I founded...thanks, I guess?"
The smile and fluttering of the girl's eyelashes made the boy uneasy. Maybe it was time to go. Whatever she was trying to accomplish or seemed to want from him, he wasn't liking it. After all, he'd never been keen on anyone thinking well of him.
"Uh...no, I actually don't really have trouble with purebloods in my house," Jack told her. "Most are probably too lazy to bother figuring out who's a mudblood and who isn't. Besides, they've got their own problems."
This girl was really starting to unnerve him. Hufflepuffs in general freaked him out, though. Maybe that was why? Whatever the case, he wanted to get as far away from her as possible before she tried making friends with him or something.
First, though, it would probably help to get her name so he could make sure to avoid her in the future. "Say...you seem to know who I am, but I don't know who you are. What's your name?""

Small technical problem: Brooke and her brother were the only Pierce in the school. Also, no one had his first name. She knew her brother was popular in Slytherin, so to say his name would be to screw it up. Suddenly, an idea crossed his mind. seeing no other solution, she hastened to say it.
- My name is Karry Hudson.
Karry was the nickname of her mother-in-law, Karen. Besides, he said he had no problems with the Purebloods. She knew it was wrong, her brother was doing it. What a moron. She noticed that he seemed to be embarrassed, he wanted her to go. "Poor Mudblood. I much preferred to be away from you, believe me," she thought. Why were Muggles and Half-Bloods so silly? It must have come from their Muggle genes. She was happy not to be. She would be ashamed of it. She hated Muggles more than ... more than anything. And the sparkling drinks. And the Hufflepuffs. But, who says Hufflepuff says Mudblood. No ? Yes.
- Sorry if I seemed strange to you. It's just that...
She inspired, quickly looking for a story that a Muggle could have lived.
- I think the Purebloods are morons. Always harm people who have done nothing to them!
She looked at the frozen Lake.
- When I was younger, Purebloods attacked me. If I could ... if I dared to do what you and Caster did, I would do it. But I'm too afraid of what could happen to me.
She looked at Jack.
- Weren't you afraid?

It's going to be funny ...
Karry Hudson, Jack repeated in his head, attempting to commit the name to memory. Before he could say farewell to take his leave, however, or come up with an excuse, the girl was expressing her idea of Purebloods to him and why she supposedly felt that way. Jack's brow furrowed deeply in disconcertation.
"Uh...I'm sorry...you feel that way?" he murmured awkwardly. "...What do you mean, 'attacked you', though? How do you know they were purebloods? Do you know why they attacked you? Maybe it was all just some huge misunderstanding." Jack frowned at her. "In any case, isn't it ignorant to judge someone based on their blood, whether they're purebloods or mudbloods? That doesn't say anything about people as individuals. Everyone is different, including whether or not each person buys into that stuff or not."
He sighed deeply when the girl spoke of being too afraid of what could happen to her and asked if Jack was afraid. After looking at her a moment, he threw his head back and laughed.
"You know," he said, once his laughter had died down enough for him to be able to speak coherent words again, "...To tell you the truth, the main reason I wanted to make this club in the first place was to encounter anyone who might have been stupid enough to try to differentiate or look down on people because of their blood status.
So far, only the teachers have shown any interest in confronting me about using the name 'mudblood' in the title of our club, but no one else has really bothered. It's kinda sad." He shrugged. "I guess either other people don't care or they're too afraid to confront me about it."
The red-head then leaned forward to give Brooklyn a devious look, raising a single brow.
"Say...Hudson, was it?" he asked, grinning like a Cheshire
. "Riddle me this... How is it that you seem so against purebloods, yet you didn't react or respond at all when I said the word 'mudblood'? Isn't that supposedly a really offensive term to some people? Especially those who are afraid of purebloods or think them superior?"
@Brooklyn Pierce
