.....................inside basil's trunk lies a dusty leather-bound journal with the name 'aster laurel' imprinted on the cover. inside are torn pages from magizoology books, their father's research on xxxx category creatures, and aster's own notes. innocent enough, basil hadn't given much thought about the old journal until he accidentally spilt his quill ink on a page, revealing hidden notes written in invisible ink. the notes were erratic and made absolutely no sense to a sane mind, but basil is determined to unravel his brother's ramblings. with the heavy mentions of thestrals and other rather dangerous creatures, the boy heads to the library with the intention of finding out more about these misunderstood beasts.

..................left without his brother to confide in, basil is feeling rather lonely despite his large circle of acquaintances. after an rather embarrassing encounter with another student (reminder: do not daydream while walking. bumping into people is considered rude but an effective way to make friends apparently.), the two bond over their interests and a friendship is born.

..................basil had always been able to sleep through the night, even through earthquakes and the noise around his family's farm. now, for the last few days, the boy has hardly slept a wink and the shadows beneath his eyes continue to grow. with his head abuzz with a growing uncertainty and loneliness creeping upon his soul, he'll need a lot more than a warm cup of tea to lull him to sleep. perhaps an acquaintance will be able to soothe his worries and grant him a good night's sleep.

Your RPG storyline idea : Ross is in the charms classroom with another student. We can discuss what spell later and how they know each other, but most likely this would be due to the fact they were paired up on some strange charms project and could not finish it in class. This also would be predated to about some time this past week or the week before.

They are practicing a specific spell, and Ross has had an extremely rough time this week. He is frustrated, which makes it difficult for him to concentrate. At some point, something happens and Ross accidentally goes too far with the spell. He injures the other character after something causes him to get lost in his thoughts, or if you have another idea for how this could be triggered just tell me! It would be extremely minor, but they still go to the hospital wing just to make sure. Overall, the character is probably fine but Ross still feels bad. It'd be a minor plot, but i feel like it could be fun.

Your RPG storyline idea :

2nd/3rd Years: Serena has a severe lack of close friends (who are actually active on the site!). I would like to change that. If anyone wants to develop a close friendship with her then this is the request for you. Looking to do multiple threads with you. Obviously they'd have to also get along IC. Serena pretty much will get along with anyone who is reasonably nice, particularly if they like Quidditch. We can work out the specifics together though.

1st Years: There's a lot of 1st years that I just feel like I don't know and haven't had a chance to RP with. So here's a small idea to change that. Serena's decent at Quidditch/Flying, good with money (not that kids need that), is getting into crafts like bracelet making with threads I guess, enjoys drawing etc. Perhaps she could teach someone younger than her something.

Additional info : I am pretty happy with anything, to be honest. I just want to get out of my writing funk and give Serena more IC relationships to develop on. If you have any other ideas, holla at me!
