Maria walked into the library hoping to see her hope to be friend Flame who agreed to her here. She walked to a table and sat down and started studying for whatever she could. As she waited she looked at the people around her hoping someone would walk up to her and talk and not leave her to sit by herself. Maria took out her pink sporty notebook and pink sparkly pen with the sports stickers and began writing her observations from the library. The more she wrote the lonelier she became and as this loneliness grew she felt like she should leave. She decided not to leave because she made a plan with Flame. She had not been waiting that long and there was no way she would give up socializing with others. Deep down inside she felt like she should walk up to someone and start talking but that wouldn’t be very good if it happened to go wrong. Which had never been a problem for her before. She watched the library doors waiting for Flame and the friends she would bring to walk in and sit down at the table with her. She looked up and she thought she saw Flame. Could it be…

Flame ran into the library at full speed. She was late for her meeting in the library with Maria! She felt so bad she had been outside practicing juggling with her soccer ball and had lost track of the time! She had gotten to 284 juggles! She really hoped Maria hadn’t left already she looked around. There were some people in the stacks and the librarian was glaring at her. She looked at the tables and saw Maria sitting there. She started walking over there very quickly weaving in and out of people and slowly but surely making her way towards Maria. When she finally got there she pulled out a chair and sat down beside her. “Sorry!” she said “I was juggling with my soccer ball and lost track of time!” Maria was staring at her. Flame really hoped that she hadn’t hurt her feelings. “So,” Flame said “Do you want to read or study or we could just talk!” Flame felt awful for making Maria wait so long. Then she remembered about the cookies she had in her bag. “Do you like chocolate chip cookies? Flame asked her handing her one. She sat patiently and waited for Maria to respond.

Maria was staring at Flame until she snapped back into reality.”Sure I’ll take a cookie and I know what’s it’s like to get carried away in sports”. Maria put her pink sporty notebook and pink sparkly pen back into her mini backpack. Then she looked at Flame and told her“we can just talk “. Then Maria put the rest of what she had gotten out of her mini backpack back into the mini backpack. Maria started asking Flame many questions.“where are you from? “;“what is your favorite color; do you like pink?”. Maria took one of Flame’s cookies and ate one of them. Maria waited for the reply to her answer. Then she asked Flame how classes were going for her. She waited for the reply to all her questions. Maria got out her mini mirror and started fixing her makeup. Then she noticed a hair out of place. “Does my hair look bad and please be very honest I am a little of a perfectionist when it comes to … well everything”. Maria put away her mini mirror and asked Flame if she wanted to take a huge risk with her to roommate bond. Maria just wanted friends and she loves risks and this risk may get a reward. She awaited the answers to her many questions.

Flame sighed happily. She was glad Maria still wanted to be friends. “My favourite colour is Purple” Flame said honestly “I also like orange. I don’t mind pink but sometimes. I really don’t like it because people think it’s a really girly colour but most of the time I like it.” Flame replied to questions about classes. Then Maria asked her if Her hair looked okay. “Don’t worry your hair looks amazing as always!” Flame understood what it was like to worry ably how she looked and how she presented herself. “I get what It’s like to worry about how you look.” Then Marcia did something unexpected. She asked Flame if she wanted to take a risk so they could bond as roommates. “Of course I want to take a risk!” Flame said excitedly. She had always loved taking risks and she always had a hard time finding other people who liked it and wanted to do them just as much as Flame did! But Flame had always had one rule. Other people couldn’t get hurt. So she told Maria. I only have one rule when it comes to taking risks. As long as we aren’t injuring anyone other then ourselves.” Flame patiently waited for Maria to respond.

Maria looked at Flame and told her “The Plan”. “We are going to sneak out to Diagon Alley after curfew its no harm in getting some ice cream”. Maria knew this was a risk but a very extremely small risk and the worst thing is that they get caught but no harm to anyone’s safety or life. ”So what do you think about that”; she applied her lipgloss and finished brushing her hair in her mini mirror that she had just gotten out of her mini backpack. ”I feel like playing some soccer but I left all of my stuff in the dorm including my custom made ball”. Maria was very spoiled she has a custom mad everything for any sport or activity she did. Her room back in her house was covered with tiaras from her pageant days,sports trophies, cheerleading trophies, and her gymnastics trophies. Then had to remember that she asked a question. Maria wasn’t gonna leave before she had her answer from Flame. She took out her school books that were very highlighted.” Anyway moving on ;wanna study before we leave?”. Maria took out her studying kit and put on her adorable pink hello kitty glasses that she needs to read. “What class do you think you need help in so maybe we can help each other”.Maria hasn’t really taken any classes yet because she is new and just got here. “What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?”. Maria awaits her answers.

Flame was getting really excited! Sneak out to Diagon alley! Ice Cream?! What more could any girl ask for! “Oh my god!” she said Let’s do it! I can’t wait!” Flame thought for a second. The teachers would probably not mind as long as they stayed out of their way. Flame answered Maria’s statement that she said. “If you still want to play some soccer I have my ball in my bag.” She told her. Flame pulled out her Homework for potions. What class do she think that they could help each other in? Potions probably or maybe charms? But Flame was really good at potions so probably charms. “We could probably help each other out in charms.” Flame said. “What’s your best subject right now mine is potions.” She didn’t know what and if Marcia had taken any classes yet but if she hadn’t Flame could always help her. Her favourite Ice cream flavour was chocolate but they didn’t have it a Florean Fortescue’s Ice cream parlour. “ My favourite Ice cream at diagon alley is the vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate.” she said “Anyway what time do you want to leave tonight? I can set an alarm.” Flame waited for Maria to respond.

Maria started thinking about the perfect time to go.”Perhaps 8:30 ,it is the perfect time for a sneaky ice cream trip”. Maria asked if they could walk to the field and play soccer together and get to know each other some more since they are roommates. Maria put all of her stuff away into her mini backpack. Maria looked at Flame for an answer to all her questions. Maria then pulled out her hot pink sneakers and then took her heels of and put on her sneakers and stuffed her heels into the mini backpack. ”Now I am ready to play some soccer”. Maria uses her perfectly manicured hand to tuck away a piece of hair from her face. She rummages through her mini backpack and finds and retrieving a pink hair bow with a football tiny pop on it. She uses that hair bow to put her brown curly hair into a ponytail. She fixes if until she thinks it is perfect. Once she thinks it is perfect she asks Flame”Are you ready to go play some soccer before we have eat ice cream”. She glances around the library and whispers to Flame”Have you ever been to the archives?”.

“8:30 sounds great!” Flame said watching Maria put on some hot pink sneakers. She really wanted to go play some soccer with Mariah and figure out if she was good or how good she was. She smiled over at Maria and said "Of course I'm ready to play some soccer! I am ALWAYS ready to play soccer!" Flame thought 'But I have never been in the archives before. Wait, is that why Maria asked?! Has SHE been in the archives?!' Flame looked at aria in shock. "Have YOU been in the archives?! How did you get in ?" They got up and started packing their stuff, Flame tossing her Soccer ball between her hands. She searched through her bag for another cookie so that she could calm her nervous anticipation about what Maria was going to say. Was there a way to override the door system? Was there a secret entrance she didn't know about? She was literally dying waiting to see what her response would be. She started talking to herself in her head, Calm down Flame. She will tell you when she is ready. But what if she doesn't tell me! I want to go and see what is in the archives! You're forgetting that we don't know if she has actually been in there before' She waited for Maria to respond.

Maria looked at Flame. She began to move closer to Flame. She whispered “My older brothers have been in the archives before I came here.”. Maria was so nervous that she had told Flame that because she promised her brothers that she wouldn’t tell anyone she doesn’t trust. This was a really big step in their friendship in Maria’s eyes because this shows the level of trust she has in Flame. Maria awkwardly giggled and got this nervous panic look on her face like she was gonna throw up from nervousness. She stood up and pushed in her chair and looked around. “Ignore what I just said do you want to go and play some soccer together like now before we get ice cream”. She felt her stomach flutter and her face flushed as she didn’t know if Flame would want to be friends after what she said.What if she never talks to me again. I mean who would want to be friends with someone after they revealed a crazy thing someone in their family did. Well I guess I would but that is nevertheless she might not. Ugh I messed this friendship up so fast I might as well get a world record. As she thought she awaited Flame’s answer.

Flame was shocked. Maria had older brothers and they were both rule breakers! Maria looked like she had never broken a rule in her life! Also Maria had Older brothers?! Flame’s mind went from shock no excitement she wasn’t into breaking the rules but she did love jokes and pranks! That was kinda like a prank right? Flame looked at Maria who was looking like she was about to have a full blown melt down. “Sure! Let’s go play some soccer!” Flame was trying to stop the atomic bomb of feelings she could see coming from Maria. They gathered there stuff and started heading towards the door. Flame turned towards Maria. “ You’re going to have to introduce me to your brother sometime!” she said. “Thay sound so cool.” Flame was also surprised that someone as girly as Maria had older brothers who broke the rules and that she also didn’t mind breaking the rules sometime. Flame grabbed her soccer ball out of her bag. It was white with a Flame design all over it and it had her name on it. Her parents had gotten this for her after she had set her last one on fire. She politely looked at Maria as Flame waited for her response.
