The "Study" club

“Oh my goodness, you’re just as clumsy as me!” Rosalyn said, the words just sort of tumbling out as she saw a boy tip over in a chair. She may or may not have done the exact same thing one(or three) times so far, but it’s fine!

“Here, take this, for the ink.” she said, handing the boy a cloth. She randomly had it, with no clue where it had come from, so she was fine with this guy having it!

“I’m Rosalyn, by the way, what’s your name?” she asked, sitting down next to where she assumed he was sitting, before ‘The Great Tipping’, as she was now calling it.

“Nice poster, by the way!” she said, noticing the one with the word study in quotation marks. She liked the sound of fake-studying, and she was in for almost anything, her boredom getting the best of her. The last time that had happened, she may or may not have made a three-tier cake at home. She tended to do that a lot, and that was exactly how she managed to pick up so many different hobbies throughout the years.

Ah, those were the good times, and she hoped to have some more of those over the holiday break.

"You did? I've never been very artistic. People who are able to do cool artsy stuff are always so cool to me, because I just can't figure it out. *sigh* Maybe someday." Rosalyn said, looking closer at the poster that Aki had apparently made.

"And you're welcome for the cloth! I do think you missed a spot though, on your face, up by your eye. Just...be careful, I've gotten glitter in my eye before and it was scratchy, and I can't imagine having ink in your eye would be much fun!" she said, just hoping that it wouldn't dye his eye black or something if it got in there.

"A 'Study Club', you say? The air quotes look a bit suspicious..." she said, making a fake contemplating face and crossing her arms with exaggerated doubtfulness.

"You know what? Honestly, I'm so bored right now. I can't even remember why I came in here. Or where I even am, honestly, I think I'm lost? Whatever, it's fine, I do this a lot. I'll just figure it out later!" she said, realizing that she really had no clue where in the world they even were.

"So, I'm in! Just as long as nothing really bad happens, I've already been in detention and I'm not looking for another one so soon!" she said, and it was the truth.

"Yeah, so, about the whole 'getting caught' thing...those prefects are scary good! One of them caught me and a boy when I was lost and he was sneaking around in the middle of the night and we both got detention! I had to run a mile in the freezing cold!" Rosalyn said, remembering that day. It was not very fun, but at least she made a new friend from it!

"Well, great! I'm pretty available too, so yeah! No, just kidding, I'm really not, but I way overpack my schedule with far too many things, so it's fine!" she said, and it was most definitely the truth. She had way too many things to do, but was always happy to add more!

"I'm sure I won't regret it! What's the worst that could happen?" she asked, shaking his jewelry-clad hand with her own. She felt very minimalistic then, all she had on was a bracelet from home. Adding that to her to-do list, find some more good jewelry. Now, where to find that...

She was sure she could find some, what with all of the shops almost everywhere in the Wizarding World, and back home. Maybe she would come back from the upcoming Holiday Break with a new look? Probably not, with her relatively-strict parents, but she could still try!

"And there is still some ink on your face from the fall, by the way!" she said, reminding him so he didn't forget and let it stain his skin if he didn't want it to.

"I know, little spots can be so annoying. One time, when I was baking, I got flour all over myself! The bag was already ripped when I went to grab it, so it ripped more, fell on the floor, and then the plume or the flour dust got all over me!" Rosalyn said, remembering that day. All she had wanted to do was just bake some cookies, not make a huge mess!

"Yay! So glad you got it!" she said, checking his face real quick, and yes, he did get it! She was glad, because it was always annoying when she couldn't manage to get the tiny bit left of a mess off of herself, and she was glad he was able to!

"Oh my goodness, you don't have to! You can keep it, especially if it's from your hometown!" she said as Aki offered her a chain of his. It was...really pretty, actually. Or cool? Or...whatever the right word is! It looked amazing, with the silver and the sea glass.

"Really, it's fine! I don't need a reward for joining the club, I'm just happy to be here!" she said, secretly hoping that he would still give her the bracelet, but really thinking it was fine if he kept it.

"Nice, muffins are really fun! What's your favorite type of muffin to make?" Rosalyn asked, curious to know. Her personal favorite was chocolate chip, but blueberry was also pretty good.

"You're so welcome, happy to be here! Anything you have planned for our first 'meeting', or just kind of this?" she asked, half-joking. This 'Study' Club seemed pretty interesting, and she was there just for the chaos. She had been drawn in by him falling over, after all!

"Well, thank you, I really appreciate it!" she said, finally taking the bracelet he was offering. If he could make more, then she felt less bad about taking one. It was really pretty, and she put it on her left wrist, making sure that it was nice and snug so it wouldn't fall off and go missing or something.

"More members, huh? Does this club have a set purpose, or just for 'studying'? I can go and ask some of my friends to join! I'll be back in a few, I just have to go find them..." she said, leaving the room and going to find some of her friends, curious if any of them would like to join this totally official 'Study Club'.

Well, Felix had already been heading in the direction of the study rooms (initially hoping they'd be a bit more empty so he could do a bit of cramming before the break), but he figured he might as well see what Rosalyn was doing.

He'd already switched out of his school robes, opting for something more casual (he didn't care if it was technically still school time or not, in fact, he didn't even check the time. but his uniform was ticking him off, so he'd changed as soon as he got out of class).

"Hey Rosalyn!". She was starting to become a very familiar face, with how much he saw her around. He didn't really mind. She was chill, friendly, and a fellow Slytherin like himself.

He didn't recognize the other kid. Looked like a first or second year, so that was probably why. Excessive jewelery, orange and black hair. Interesting choice. Felix wondered if it was a deliberate choice, or if the guy just really liked the colour orange. Who knew? Not him.

It reminded him of the hair dye he still had stashed in his trunk. He couldn't wait to try that out (brown hair was getting boring), but it would have to wait until after Christmas, unfortunately.

In the meantime, Felix leaned on the closest table, fidgeting with his earring.

Anyways, he tried to direct his question to the both of them, as he'd kind of just said yes immediately, and, to be entirely honest, wasn't sure what he was even supposed to be doing here.

"What's up?"

"Oh, hey Felix! How are you! I was actually just about to leave to find some people, but you're here!" Rosalyn said, stopping in her tracks right before she accidentally fell into him.

"How are you?" she asked, curious. She hadn't seen him yet that day, so she hoped his day was going well. Also, she didn't even really know what this club was for, all that was clarified was 'studying', but not really. And she got a bracelet, so she was a happy person! But she supposed she should probably leave the club sales pitch to Aki, the one that started it.

"What's up is a club! For studying, putting air quotes around the study!" she said, moving her fingers in the quote thing, she didn't know what to call them.

"Aki, would you like to explain?" she asked, turning towards him. She didn't want to take over, it was his club, after all, she'd just found her way into it!

She began to fidget with the bracelet that Aki had given her. It was really pretty. She hadn't been to the ocean in years and years. She may have been when she was small, perhaps around four or five, but not in the longest time, so the seaglass was beautiful to her.

oh yes thank you Rosey! My name is Aki Kato and this is the "study" club! where we go over test answers weather there from future test or not is for you to find out! What's you're name? Aki smiles reaching out a hand each movement letting out chimes.

We hold meetings every week the day might change but eh Aki shrugs hoping up to stand on the table.

but this will be the best club in the history of hogwarts! he cheers from his stand on the table.

so far though only Rosalyn has join... But if you join then we'll have three people! Aki holds up three ringed fingers excitedly hair fluffing up only held down by some button decorated hair clips as he bounces on his feet tiping forward a bit too much.

agh Merlin! Aki crashes to the floor, jewerly clinking on the floor loudly, he turns over flopping into a starfishing position on the floor.

if I had a nickel for every time I fell after meeting some one I'd have two nickles which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice... ow Aki rubs his forehead where a red mark now lays.

"I'm Felix. Nice to meet you?" he shook Aki's hand before the guy went and stood on the table. That didn't seem like a good idea, but hey, if he wanted to make dramatic announcements from the tops of tables, who was Felix to blame him? It was probably an optimal way of getting more height. The high ground, you might say.

"Three's still not that many people, but sure, I guess. At least until you can get a few more folks into it". It's only once a week, he can spare that. He's got free time, and he could probably still study for other things while attending these 'meetings'. Going over text answers probably wouldn't help him much, considering the fact that both Rosalyn and—assuming—Aki were both first years and had completely different assignments than he did, but hey, it could still be fun to hang out. He didn't have many people to hang out with regularly.

Aki fell within the next few moments. Probably should've expected that, balancing up there like that, but Felix still jumped a little at the crash.
The boy's numerous bracelets clinked when he hit the floor, rather like a wind chime. A sort of messy, entirely bedazzled and badly hung up wind chime, maybe. Oof. That fall had to have hurt pretty bad, a red mark was already forming.

"Maybe you should just try standing on a chair, next time. A little less... precarious, perhaps?"
