Áine didn't really know what she was expecting to be honest. The place was gross and hadn't been used in ages. she didn't like it. The dirt, the grime seeing history just Forgotten like that. IT'S INSULTING
Don't worry Miss Myrtle i'll help tidy this place up for you. I'm sorry about what happened to you

Áine remembered her father telling her about the times he'd sneak down there with mom after curfew to just chat and eat sweets together
She grunted as she started scrubbing the sinks before moving onto the mirrors it was disorienting seeing her reflection like that. As she sang her singing was a lowly low alto
On the starry sea in night of a windless breeze the faeries came unto me
"come and join our feast!" They said with voices like bells on the trees
But I do right by my mama's words responded with steadiness of the rocks that bore my convictions
"I thank thee for thine invitation but I simply must decline"
And so they left me to slowly sink down to the realm of sleep where they could never follow
When she had finished singing she smiled remembering her mum's lullaby She had loved it very much growing up
I hope you liked it too Miss Myrtle
She continued to work cleaning the sinks and the mirrors once she was done she looked around for what else to clean

“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

Yolanda staggered into the Abandoned Toilets in a rush. Hiding. She was hiding.

With a slam, a sob, a stutter she ran into the room. Looking down she went to dodge the wet floor but it was… mopped? It smelt like vinegar.

The windows were cleaned? And oh no. There was someone HERE.

Startled, Yolanda stopped dead in her tracks. She had let herself go red-eyed and blotchy faced. Her pale white skin turned red faced from tears and stress. Great. Great impression for some fresh fashed - happy - fun cleaning? Girl from Gryffindor. The girl looked quite friendly.

Great.

Pulling herself straight Yolanda wiped her snot with her sleeve unaware of how gross she was being. She wasn’t feeling herself at the moment.

It was lonely. Every day was surrounded by people yet she was alone.

Yet she wasn’t alone here now, was she?

“Hi! I’m er - I like the um… cleanin job you did! No one is ever in here… so yeah that’s why I am right now I suppose haha.” Honesty was the best policy (dressed up a bit).

“Why the cleaning frenzy?” Yolanda inquired to the younger girl. Sniffling she admired the hard work the girl had done and gave her an appreciatory nod. “Well, whatever the case you did a great job!”

“I’m Y-Yolanda.” she kept going nervously not sure where to go and whether she should back away, help, or simply keep the conversation going. She’d have to gauge the new girls reaction.

Though Yolanda was lonely that didn't make her needy. She liked people but it was fine with or without them. She didn't want to make this poor girl feel bad just cause they ended up in the same abandoned bathroom. But she smiled and said hello and put on a face anyway. What else could she have done?

Hopeful she waited to see what would happen.

Arabella stumbled into the abandoned girls bathroom, hiding from well... almost everyone...

She was a mess, crying, mascara dripping down her cheeks. With a slam against the wall, she burst into a deluge. Just then she noticed... the floors were clean? They even smelled like a cleaning acid... The stalls were also cleaned. Oh god... There was someone here. Arabella felt embarrassed to appear like this in front of another person. Great first impression huh. She then saw a guy?!! That guy who had helped her during class...

"Oh um hey... You aren't allowed to be in here...", she awkwardly said to the guy.

"Oh uh yea... I just noticed this bathroom was really unclean so like I just started to clean. I'm really sorry. I should go." said the guy.

"I do really love the cleaning job though. Bathroom looks really great.", she said.

"Thanks! Um, I'm Theo.", he said.

"Arabella", she said.

Arabella was actually quite enjoying this conversation. As it went on, she started to dump her whole life story on the poor guy without even realizing it. She realized it was the first real... really real conversation she had in a while. She even felt intrigued by the boy's ideas. Her first real friend in a long time.
