History/Background Story:
Violet was born May 20th, 2008 in Dunton Green, England. After almost 48 hrs of labor Tiffany Nomusa-Flowers and Adam Flowers would meet their stubborn baby girl. Not much changed after the birth of Violet when it came to her personality. She stayed stubborn as a bull. LIttle feet would often be seen planted in the ground when it came to leaving playgrounds, eating foods she didn’t like, or worst of all going somewhere new.
Violet comes from a family of pure bloods, although the only tells you would get is that it seems the family isn’t struggling for money. Her parents wanted to raise their children to hold all life as equal no matter what their race was so neither Violet nor her siblings really had any negative thoughts about muggle born or half bloods. She grew up with two sibling that are seven years older, Nathaniel and Nicole, who are fraternal twins. If you ask her parents about the age gap the two usually laugh about it and mention how they both just really liked odd numbers. Over the course of her life she went to private primary school that was mixed with both wizards and muggles. Something that her parents encouraged and believed would help her get used to those that weren’t like herself. Making friends for Violet came rather easy. She was usually a laid back and cheerful girl who wasn’t too bossy and didn’t mind if someone was bossy around her, so long as they didn’t try and tell her what to do.
Violet’s first expression of magic happened around her tenth birthday, a few days after in fact. It had been a grueling day in elementary school and all she had wanted to do was come home and eat the brownie she had saved from their grandmothers house. But coming into her home she noticed it was’t still sitting in the kitchen where she had left it. It was now placed next to her eldest brother as he told his parents about his job. How was he to know she would be so upset, nobody did. It wasn’t until the brownie burst into flames in his hand. Both parents and brother looked confused about the random act of magic. They had no idea what causes it until she was storming into the room screaming about it being the brownie she saved for herself. Astonished the parents were far too happy about their baby girls magic to even listen to her complaints about the treat.
Arriving at Hogwarts felt like a right of passage but when she sat underneath the sorting hat she was in for a bit of a surprise. Her family was a mix of houses, but the house her parents held was Ravenclaw, her brother was a Gryffindor, and her sister a Hufflepuff. In fact, when the hat called out Slytherin she knew it was surely mistaken. There had only been three Slytherin’s in the entire family history. Now she was the fourth and it’s something she wasn’t sure if she should be proud of or concerned about.
