I think that in order to try to make you understand how I feel when I read these messages, I am obliged to describe the particular situation in which I find myself.
I am working as an official and I have had a lot of work to do for several months now. My work is exciting, but demanding. The current crisis has added a lot to my workload, and I worked tirelessly those few weeks.
Two weeks ago, it took me several days to realize that I was starting to have a little cough. I've been locked, alone, in my small Parisian apartment for the ten days now, and my condition deteriorated brutally the day before yesterday. Impossible to sleep for several days, difficulty breathing, lung pain. I can't be tested, but doctors have no doubt about what I have. I'm young, so the statistics are with me, but still, I must admit, I'm a little scared. And I feel lonely: I obviously can't go out for several weeks so I don't to infect anyone, and I have no physical strength anyway.
I'm not telling you this to get empathy, but to tell you how much your messages, which would have pleased me normally, have fulfilled me. I think that if my English were better, I would be able to find stronger words to tell you what it means to me.
I completely understand what a site like this can bring you. Friends, creativity, learning to write, escape from our lives. I experienced that when I was younger. That's why this site exists.
Nevertheless, I must confess something to you. I've only done a very small part. The real magic is the one put in place by your director, and his predecessor; by your teachers; and by each of you who bring it to life. This site wouldn't survive a moment without you. Besides, even though I will continue to take care of it, I don't have much more to add to it. So I'm not the one to thank.
I would like this topic to remain, but become a place you can say *thank you* for all the people who make this site what it is!

Hey Zach! I've been doing social isolation before it was cool, so I have some advice for you or anyone else doing it. Trouble sleeping is common being indoors several days in a row, and may not entirely be up to being sick:
- Getting sun on your face in the morning is very important for sleep. 10 minutes is enough if you have light skin. People with darker skin need up to 30. It's important to keep your eyes open too, as long as you're not staring at the sun or whatever. It's like sun bathing in your kitchen or wherever. I understand cats now, it's quite pleasant actually.
- Walking around is also helpful. It's good for the immune system, in one study people who walked 20 minutes got sick less during flu season and had less sick days, if they did get sick. Light exercise also helps avoid feeling restless at night. Indoors it can be easy to not notice how little you're moving, because of course we're used to just sitting about.
There are some studies that suggest lights at night might prevent sleep, but there were also conflicting results from other studies. I've not noticed a difference; if I've had plenty of sun in the morning I will still get tired in a well lit room at night. But it might help other people?
Get well soon and I hope your Netflix searches turn up lots of good shows you haven't watched yet.
PS: Social isolation sounds like an academic term for children bullying each other. It could be called Corona jail? Because we're putting the virus in a little virus jail. Corona Cloistering sounds better too.

Hi Zachary,
I do want to give a huge thank you for all the work you put into this site, but this is a get well 'card'!
Be sure to take it easy and rest a ton. Resting is one of the best things to get well. But don't overdo anything, even rest. Be sure to take your mind off of things frequently while still following all of the doctors advice.
We are all wishing you a quick recovery. Be comforted by the fact that you have hundreds if not thousands of grateful witches and wizards that are wishing you well. We will always be there for you. Get better fast!
Sorry this is so short, but understand the impact behind each word!
Get well soon,
Katrina Walker And the girl behind her.

To Zachary,
First, I would like to say that I am sorry to here that you are not well. We all hope that you get better very soon. Unfortunately we are all dealing with this pandemic. I, myself have a friend that is in Intensive Care right now with the virus. It is a very uneasy feeling.
Second, with regards to the site. I have only been here for a few days now and I am absolutely impressed with how much time you have put into this. I have played many RP games and I am saying this is by far one of the best I have seen.
Dont ever stop putting your heart and sole into something you love. Also to the Headmaster and all of the Professors and Staff that make this game what it is. I salute you.
I hope one day to be able to help out as much as all of you.
Thank you again,
Morris Miller

Everything is going well for me, I'm much better since two days and it will soon be over
Thanks to all of you, and I repeat my dear wish that this topic will become a topic of thanks for your staff who do an absolutely great job, without which the site would be an empty shell

Hello Zach,
I am very glad to hear that you feel better, I actually thought a lot about your last reply the last days(Yes, I have been a silent stalker in here
). I hope you're not bored to death in your appartment yet.
I as well want to thank you so much for the incredible second world that this site is!
Three months ago I have entered this site and I already feel like it has been ages, I found some great new friends here, who I wouldn't want to miss anymore...
This is more than a good replacement for my old RP site, which slowly started to become a dating site for characters, I simply love the style and rules of roleplaying here!
Thank you, to you and allthe other staff members, professors, prefects, who put so much effort into making this site as beautiful and amazing as it is.
A thousand times, thank you all!
Take this very grateful hug
