Dustin's jumping in feet first. Headstrong, bold, and gregarious he never hesitates to interact with people or take a challenge on. He is confident, bordering on reckless, and seems to have no regard for his personal safety. While he wouldn’t harm anyone else, he wouldn’t hesitate to punch a tree if he thought some fruit would fall down. His forwardness isn’t based on aggression, but rather a lack of restraint. Where others have a voice inside their heads that say, “Maybe don’t do that,” Dustin’s says, “Go, go, go!”
Dustin has light brown hair and blue eyes. He’s of an average height and a thin build that belies a surprising strength and fitness years of muggle sports can bring. Growing up far from other magical families, and despite being pure-blood, Dustin spent most of his childhood sneaking away from his family home and playing with muggles on the outskirts of Belfast.
During a foray into the muggle world, on which Dustin was playing rugby with some local muggles, his magical powers surfaced. As he tackled another kid, the earth gave way below them and both sank into the ground. Dustin was trapped up to his waist and the other boy had his right side swallowed by a ground that had been turned magically soft then rapidly hardened. Though everyone was fine, several police reports and memory-erasing spells later Dustin realized he couldn’t play with his muggle friends any more. He left shortly after for Hogwarts, where we find him now.
