Harry was walking through the courtyard, at the earliest possible time to be awake and wandering the school grounds. Harry was wandering around the courtyard to get to know the place better. He noticed things he would like to experience: strange games with comical objects, walking with people and friends, lying in the shade of the trees and on benches, simply enjoying the moment and chatting nonsense. He stopped for a moment at the large fountain in the courtyard and appreciated the movement and the relaxing sound of the water. Closer to some places, he took a brief tour of the corridors and the infirmary just to get acquainted, but was quickly asked to leave unless he came to see someone. He was making a round of the castle, learning shortcuts, paths, hidden and safe places; he intended to explore it completely before graduating.
He paused for a moment to lie down near a large tree to enjoy the morning chill and imagine the next things he would experience there. He heard the conversation of some students, some older, others among themselves, a boy and a girl in an intimate moment of affection on one of the benches, but Harry just ignored it because he didn't want to disturb them. A few students were already awake, probably like Harry, they hadn't been able to sleep or just wanted to witness the quieter part of the castle.
After a while, Harry then moved away from the courtyard, ready to explore the rest of the grounds.

"Why am I up this early.." I had groaned to myself in the early morning. I knew why I was up, I just hated early mornings. In the past few weeks, I had found myself quite lost in the castle and around the grounds in between classes. Being a first year and all, I got lost quite often, in fact, more often than not, really. I had already been at Hogwarts for a few weeks, but I hadn't taken the time to explore; I had just spent my time learning and studying, going to and from classes.

Going to and from classes wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, though. Being in such a large school, the crowds of students and the moving staircases would often lead me to places where I couldn't find an exit or know my way without having to ask for help, and most of the time- my pride got the best of me until I felt like I was really lost.

So, I had decided that this morning was the best option for exploring, or well, rather all of the mornings we had already had this week. The mornings were the only times I had to explore, much to my demise. I had never been a morning person- ever. But alas, I knew I had to do something if I wanted to make it to class on time.

This morning, I had decided to explore the grounds- to where? I didn't know exactly. As soon as I had finished getting ready for the day, I made my way outside, into the courtyard. I glanced around, deciding which way I would head towards and document today. I looked over to my right- a couple snogging on the bench. My face scrunched up as I muttered quietly to myself, "Get a room...", scoffing. I looked over to my left- a safer option.

The courtyard wasn't busy, but it wasn't empty either. Over to my left, kids were sitting in the grass or on benches, talking and having easy conversations, some holding brooms, others holding books. I saw more brooms than books, though, so I figured the left led towards the Quidditch pitch or stadium. "That would be useful." I thought to myself, thinking about the upcoming matches I could go watch- if I could find my way there, that is.

I decided to begin walking to my left, my face hopeful and determined as I had a pen and parchment clutched in hand, ready to document wherever- or whoever- my journey led me to.

The girl in the stands.

Harry finished exploring some areas of the castle, which was quite large, making it difficult for him to know exactly where he was going. After walking for a long time and memorizing some paths, he found himself so immersed in his exploration that he came across the grounds surrounding the castle near the Quidditch pitch. He was sure that in a short time this would be one of his favorite places, so Harry decided it was time to explore it as well.

After a few steps from where he was, he found himself very close to the enormous structures that surrounded the field and made it look like a huge rustic stadium. Upon entering, he saw a passage to his left that would take him several meters above the ground, directly to hundreds or thousands of benches. This area was designated for the supporters of Slytherin House, which he entered by chance. Upon reaching the highest platforms, he came across the figure of a very beautiful girl.

Her hair was blonde like strands of gold, her eyes were the color of emeralds and shone in the sunlight that hit her forehead, her face reminded him of sculptures of angels he had seen in some Muggle cathedrals in Liverpool.

He saw an opportunity to make another friend, he realized that the girl was from Slytherin house, nothing unusual, she was sitting in the stands of her house, but what had made her be there alone, there weren't many people and Harry didn't know if there was a training session at that moment, maybe it hadn't started yet, after these questions he approached the girl.
Hello! How are you? I noticed you're here alone at this hour, and I thought you might need some company. None of us like being alone for too long, do we? What are you doing here so early?
Harry asked politely, but forgot to introduce himself, or so it seemed. But in truth, Harry always introduced himself after making a good impression on someone because he knew that after a good impression, someone would hardly forget him, or at least would remember him positively. This was a strategy he used for many years and that helped him make many friends.

The Ravenclaw
I began making my way towards the Quidditch stadium, its tall, tower-like stands and rustic design making me curious about its sturdiness- but never mind that. I made my way towards the stadium, weaving in and out of talkative and quiet students alike, keeping my head down as I moved through the crowds of students that stayed in the courtyard. When I finally got in front of the stadium, my eyes widened with awe. It was much bigger than I had imagined, and its rustic design didn't budge against the slight winds that blew past today.

I made my way towards the entrance of it, "I have to see what it's like!" I had thought to myself as I stepped through the entryway, following the path to the left that seemed to have stairs that went upwards towards the stands. When I appeared at the top, my eyes widened with interest. I was up much higher than I had imagined I would be, but I gulped down my slight fear as I made my way over to the section that held Slytherin banners and flags, assuming that was the Slytherin house's section.

The slight winds seemed more than slight now that I was higher off the ground, making me shiver through the thin robe that covered me. I hadn't looked at what the weather would or could be; I had just thrown on the thin robe that I wore almost every day and left my thick one in my closet. "This is what I get for exploring outside." I muttered to myself as another shiver ran down my spine.

I decided to take a seat. I had to document how to get here anyway, and I couldn't do that standing up. I sat down and took out my parchment and quill and placed it down next to me, holding them down softly. The winds weren't strong enough to blow it away- but I held it down just in case. As I began retracing my steps mentally, that's when I heard it- a voice.

"Hello! How are you?" I had heard, making me jump slightly as I looked over to where it came from. It was a Ravenclaw boy, and a handsome one at that. My eyes scanned over him; he had dark, almost night-like black hair that complemented his dark, chocolate-like brown eyes that stood out against his pale skin and the bright-blue sky. His rather dark-seeming features fit exactly what I thought a Ravenclaw would look like- tall, handsome, and sharp.

I paused for a moment, my breath catching slightly before answering- "Oh, I-" I cleared my throat as it came out slightly more quietly than usual, "I'm fine." I stared at him for a moment longer before returning the question, "How are you?" I gulped softly. " I- I wouldn't mind some company." I said as I shook my head, my gaze staying on him as I moved over slightly, opening up more room for where I sat, "And yeah, it does get quite lonely sometimes." I said with a small smile.

I motioned for him to come sit by me, not minding the space for once, besides, he didn't seem harmful or rude, he seemed... nice? I held up my parchment slightly to him as I shrugged to answer his question, "I get lost quite easily, so I'm making myself a map." I slowly set my parchment back down, my focus on him again, "What about you? It seems too early to be out here regularly, so what are you out here for?" I tilted my head slightly as I asked the question, allowing my long, blonde curls to shift over my shoulder as they cascaded down my back and arms, a small smile playing on my lips at the handsome, curious boy.

Harry percebeu o tom meio timido da The girl, as if surprised, seemed to have had difficulty speaking at first; perhaps she had appeared too suddenly, he thought to himself, but that didn't matter. He was already there, and the girl was talking to him. Her emerald eyes were much more beautiful up close, and her curls complemented her appearance. He also noticed that the girl, the girl's assistant, was making a map, which in his opinion seemed like a brilliant idea—something many didn't think of doing and therefore ended up getting lost very easily in the first few days. He took the opportunity to complement his experience; he had been learning the castle's paths since he arrived.

A map? Brilliant!
"Harry said with a somewhat excited smile."
A map of Hogwarts can be very useful; it's good to start from the outside, by the way! Just like you're doing!

I usually wake up early, but today I decided to wake up a little later so I could have more free time. I need to take advantage of this since I'll be fully immersed in my studies in the coming days. Honestly, I didn't think the Quidditch pitch would still be empty; I think it's too early even for a morning practice.

But as for your map, how's it coming along? Have you managed to draw some locations yet? I tried to memorize a few, but there are so many; I might spend the next five years writing them down in my memory, but that's good, I'll have many adventures ahead of me!

The boy spoke excitedly, but realizing he had said a little too much, he gradually fell silent. His questions invited the girl to speak as well, and he would simply listen to her answer politely."

Harry noticed the girl's enthusiasm; it meant the conversation was flowing, perhaps he had already won her friendship. After she mentioned waking up earlier, he commented,
"Oh, it's not bad once you get used to it," said the boy, a short smile on his face. "I usually wake up a little later, but today I really needed to see the school in the morning. As soon as I knew the minimum time to be out of the common room, I got ready and went outside."
"Wow, you really mapped out a lot! How long did that take? It must have been a lot of work! Although, of course, there's still a lot left in the castle, hidden rooms and things that are difficult to access, but even so, it's an impressive feat!" "As for the terrain, it shouldn't be much more difficult than the entire castle, although it might take some time, but who knows, you might finish the map and even make it official for the school!"
Harry commented, impressed by the girl's map. She seemed to have already drawn a good part of the castle, and although it wasn't complete, it already looked very useful. He wondered how long the girl had been drawing it, and how she had done it? With magic? By hand? With the help of other people? He didn't know, but he was sure that it would be really useful, very useful indeed.
"Of course! That would be incredible! I've heard of some amazing places around here. My father once told me that even if you spent your whole life in this castle, you wouldn't know it completely, and that makes me very excited. Imagine how many places there are around here!"
He replied, a little more excited than usual, but still maintaining his smile and his usual politeness.

I smile at the boy and chuckle lightly to his excited voice, "It's quite cute." I thought to myself, noting his smiling lips and jet black hair that continued to draw my attention.

"I don't think I would ever get used to it, waking up early is just such a hassle for me!" I pout playfully before motioning to my long, blonde, curly hair; "It takes me forever to do my hair, it's always so frizzy unless I actually tame it, so I already get up early enough; any earlier, and I might just fall asleep in my classes!" I laughed lightly as I playfully groaned.

His excitement over my map makes my smile turn wider and brighter, "I've been working on it for about a week now, but I still haven't taken into account any of the secret rooms." I say sheepishly as I rub my neck softly, slightly embarrassed for not even having thought about the secret rooms of the castle. I smile at him warmly as he agrees to explore with me sometime. "Yay! I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun!" I smiled excitedly at the thought of spending more time with the Ravenclaw boy and getting to explore the castle.

Harry notices the girl's comment about waking up early and how she needs to tame her beautiful curly blonde hair. He glances at her several times and sincerely admires her hair subtly. He is charmed by her charisma, the way she talks and speaks to him, and the moment she pouts to explain that waking up early is quite inconvenient for her.
Noticing the girl's excitement when talking about the map, he realized the interesting connection between them on that subject and decided to continue commenting on it.
-Still it's quite a job! You're certainly doing very well in 1 week, imagine how it will be in a few months? Or during the time you spend here at school! "It's definitely going to be the best Hogwarts map ever made, if there is one!" -
Harry said excitedly, trying to console the girl who seemed shy when talking about the map. Right after commenting on the exploration, he noticed that the girl had perked up, so he saw an indispensable opportunity for a joint adventure.
"Very well!"
he affirmed excitedly. "
It's decided!"
he said.
"Let's meet more often! As soon as I find out about an amazing place or decide to go for a walk around the castle, I won't think twice before calling you!"
He said, imagining all the events that would follow from there.

-By the way, my name is Harry, Harry Branddor-
he said, raising his hand to the girl.
