Perhaps Tutoring is in Order

and here's just a little spacing, as always |
June stared at the grading sheet before her. She took pride in the fact that most of her students were doing well! It meant she was doing her job right. Some of the first years were struggling a bit, but that was to be expected. Hogwarts was completely new ground, especially for those coming from muggle families. But one name stuck out in particular.
There was a Ravenclaw girl that had caught June's attention. She was falling unusually behind for a Ravenclaw. Honestly, June was surprised she hadn't caught this sooner. The girl's grades were abysmal. And maybe it was an old sense of house pride, but June did not want to see a Ravenclaw fall behind.
Something needed to be done, and soon. June grabbed one of the many quills out of the vase on her desk and pulled out a piece of parchment. She wrote a quick letter, let the ink dry, and sealed it in an envelope. Laura, who had been watching from her perch aside the desk, straightened, as if she knew exactly the task ahead of her.
"I'm sure you can find them?" June asked as she handed the letter over. The owl made no indication of an answer as it took the letter and flew off, but June had the feeling her words were understood anyway.
Now to deal with the problem at hand. June couldn't actually do anything just yet. Well, actually, she could, considering Ms. Aurebach-Iori was to be in the class coming in. Only a short wait then.
June set about cleaning her desk and wiping down her chalkboard. The classroom needed to be perfectly tidy for the students, not a quill or parchment out of place. Speaking of, June refilled her stack of extra parchment. She had considered finding a place for it that wasn't on her desk, since some students seemed wary to get it from there, but it was safest for the parchment, so it remained until June could think of somewhere better for it.
Once this lesson was over, she'd ask Ms. Aurebach-Iori to stay after class. By then, it would, hopefully, have been more than enough time for Laura to deliver the letter.
