Siobhan let out a whining groan as a misstep brought her into the path of a knockback from the opposing team. She felt the air fall from her lungs as she was pushed back on the piste and nearly lost her balance. Was this their strategy again? Go after the blind one? She had hoped that there would be other decorum that wasn't "let's go full throttle against the blind girl."

Siobhan winced as her ankle faltered in an attempt to compose herself. Hearing the moderator's voice announce that the duel would be over soon gave her quiet respite. Thankfully this would come to an end and she and her teammates could recover from the hardest duel that they had ever attempted.

She was still very proud of her pride.

After so many fails and misses, one thing Sere got was a drop in confidence. She tried to focus, even though this time her action selection was to heal one of her own teammates. "Reparifors!" She said the incantation, pointing her wand at Vladislav. It went smoothly, of course. If Sere failed this time, she would one-hundred-percent lose her confidence.

Vladislav succeeded to cast his spell once again, and Siobhan dodged the opponents' spells for the umpteenth time. The duel was coming to an end, and this was the right time to show their best.

Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Afternoon.

It would appear that Axyen has spoken too soon, he internally thought that this type of endgame with nobody knocked out was rare. He thought he was going to see the duel to the end without having to deal with it—and he was swiftly proven wrong, but first, this is how the round initially went.

Vladislav cast Flipendo at Jessamine, but he might've been too slow or Jessamine was just too fast; either way, the spell didn't reach its target, as Jessamine found themselves able to dodge the incoming attack. "Vladislav is aiming Flipendo... and it misses!" Axyen commentated, just in case somebody in the audience blinked. Axyen looked on as Sere aimed their wand at Siobhan and attempted to cast Reprifors... something must've been off with their wand movement or maybe they messed up the incantation, as absolutely nothing happened! Axyen chose to not commentate that much to the audience.

Finally, Siobhan chose to make Mylo their target when casting Flipendo—which actually hit its target. "Mylo is hit! But not before they are able to cast the Cracker Jinx!!!" Because right before Mylo went down, Jessamine cast Flipendo at Siobhan and actually dealt some damage, Siobhan looked like they wouldn't be standing after one more hit. "Yikes, Siobhan is in a bad position right now! However, they are still standing!" Axyen said to everybody with his enthusiasm made very loud and clear. Edward would attempt to hit Vladislav with Aqua Eructo...

It misses!" And finally, Mylo, with the spell that made Axyen naturally take a step back: the Cracker Jinx. It hit nobody, none of the Gryffindors nor its initial target which happened to be Siobhan. Now Mylo was just laying there.

"Okay, everyon—uh Mylo, are you okay?" No response from Mylo. It took a second for Axyen to register what had happened. "Oh snap! Everyone stop! Everyone pause!" Axyen said, stepping onto the stage and praying that no spells would be cast or that he would be hit by any attacks. That would seriously suck...

Axyen eventually managed to get Mylo off of the stage, ready to go for transportation to the Hospital Wing. He stepped back onto the stage and got back into position. "Um... okay, continue!!" Axyen said, after being absolutely sure Mylo wasn't in range of any of the spells. Now, hopefully, the next few rounds went without trouble...

She would not make it to the end of this duel if there was yet another round thrown to her and if she could not muster the strength to step aside and allow the spells to miss her once again. Her head was swimming and depsite what she could not see, she felt her eyes lacking even more of an ability to see the view of her world. Though Axyen had called for the removal of Mylo from across the piste- she could not afford to be the next one. If they knocked her out then she was not good enough.

She had to be good enough to stay here. To prove she belonged here.
