So like... with the whole corona virus thing going on I started to think of Jays storyline. So in my head I am always keeping track of Jays biological father (and yes, he’s still alive) and as of the beginning of 2020 he was in China doing some secret stuff I won’t reveal to you guys, and then in February he went back to Japan, and I kinda got worried like... What if something happens to him?? Do wizards have a cure for the virus? Are wizards okay?? Is Hogwarts okay??? Also, the Victoria manor in which Jay lives in gets quite a bit of visitors from all over the world, so that’s a yikes....

Anyhow, what are y’all’s insights on the virus and wizardry?

Hiya! I actually just had a bit of a chat with the staff about this. From what I know it's that wizards can cure any mundane disease that Muggles can contract or create. However, it is forbidden that they share the magic secret with normal Muggles. Hence why Muggles have no cure for cancer, but wizards do. The only ailments which can kill a wizard are magical in nature, such as Dragon Pox or Spattergroit. I'll link the canon from JK Rowling below:
