Jacob was basically running to the platform his mother had told him so much about. He was so excited to be gone, out of the house, with new people. No parents, no annoying little sister. He would sigh, knowing, as much as he would like to tell himself he wouldn't miss them, he knows he will. As much as they can be overprotecting and just plain maddening, he loved that about them. He slowed down, making sure his family could catch up with him, he didn't want his last few moments with them to be him running ahead. As they got closer to the platform, he got a sudden burst of anxiety. He tried to shake it off, to not show the other kids, and even adults, that he was scared. So he plastered a huge, fake smile as he ran through the wall.

"Woah...!" he exclaimed when he saw how any people were truly there. He could here the train coming but was not ready to leave his family just yet. He ran to them and wrapped his arms around them, pulling them into a big group hug. He noticed his mother softly crying. "Don't cry mother. I wont be gone for that long. I will even write to you everyday." She shook her head, laughing slightly, knowing full well he was not going to do that. The train pulled in, the whistle blowing, he turned around, excited. He gave his family one last hug before he ran onto the train.

Once he had gone onto the train, he went to a compartment with no one else in it. He looked out the window and waved. As the train started off, towards Hogwarts, he sat down. He pulled a baseball his father gave him for his eleventh birthday. He tossed it up into the air and caught it. He continued doing this for a while until he got bored of it. He would sigh, wishing for some friends but knowing, he would most likely make them, perhaps just not right away.

Angelina was getting tired of her mom's constant questions.  Do you have enough clothing?  Do you have enough money for snacks?  Angelina wanted to tell her to stop, but secretly she liked it.   It was a lot better than her dad, who had said a quick goodbye before going back to the ministry for work.  She turned and hugged her mom tightly before waving and running up to the train.  She was smiling brightly for about 5 seconds and then a shout hovered over the crowd.  "There she is!"  4 boys started running after her scowling as the put their wands away.  Angelina smirked and ran through the large group of students.  She quickly boarded the train and franticly searched for a compartment.  She finally found one,  and there was only one person there.  She rapped on the window, "Hey! Hey you!  open the door! Please!"  He looked at her startled.  She rolled her eyes and then her face paled as the boys surrounded her.  Angelina groaned,  "Not still mad I beat you at quidditch are you?  "   The leader shook his head.  "No.  We are mad you bet us 20 galleons each that you would win."  She shrugged and then whipped out her wand.  Jus as quickly they pulled out theirs.  "Oh crap."  Angelina looked at the boy in the compartment desperatly.  Just open the door!  Open! Open!
