An unexpected meeting Pv Opeila Seilun

Sean looked surprised at what the Slytherin girl said, she was definitely different from most people. He smiled back at her, "Most people judge people that stare at them" he said this in a bit of a teasing manner. He liked this girl, she seemed very compassionate and Sean usually attracted the bullies or the "scientists" that looked at him more like an alien rather than an actual person. Girls more so than boys had found him to be a perfect target for rumors, no one really knew a lot about him and so it was easy to make them believe anything. It wasn't as bad once he got to Hogwarts but after a while some people started to notice the silent and emotionless looking boy in their class and rumors started to form. Some said that his soul had been eaten by Dementors (what ever those was), some even said that he had lost his voice or even just didn't understand English. Sean found the rumors mostly amusing, it didn't really help him make friends but curious people would some times come up to him and ask a few questions.

Sean showed the book he was reading to Opeila, it was the "Hogwarts: A History" book. "I'm pretty new to all this so I am trying to catch up. There is a lot of interesting facts about this place" as he said that he looked around taking in the fact that he was actually there. He tried his best to smile again and looked at the girl "Do you climb that tree often ?" It was the first time he saw someone go up it and had made the assumption that it was prohibited. He was curious to know the reason the girl had gone up it when she noticed him watching her.

"I believe that everyone judges everyone immediately without knowing. It is just natural. Even if we tell ourselves not to do it.", Opeila said when Sean said that most people judged staring people. "So I guess, I do judge you somewhere, but don't worry. I don't think of you as some sort of stalker or something" She smiled at the Hufflepuff. He seemed to be worrying far too much.
"The worst thing is the self judgement. Believe me, I am sure, those girls are already not thinking about you anymore. You were a temporary subject of interest, as soon as it left the eyesight it also left their minds."

The boy showed her his book and told her that he was new to Hogwarts and magic. "Me too. Before I got my letter I barely knew about magic. My father tried to hide it all from me as hard as he could, even though he is the muggle side of my halfblood family." She smiled. It was weird. On some days she hated her father so much that she wanted to scream, while on others she could talk about him like she had a normal family. Only her mother she always would remain silent about. She would not talk about her, or her current state would become real again...

Sean listened to carefully to the girl, he usually didn't interact this much with any girl because it made him more nervous and they were more susceptible of being hurt by the way he said things. But she didn't seem phased at all, Self judgement he thought to himself, she was right that Sean judges a lot of his "abnormal" behavior how couldn't he when most of the population reacted so negatively ? It was refreshing to meet someone that didn't just assume he was a creep from the get go, even thought he thought she had all the right to think that.

So she was a Half-Blood, mentioning that her father was a Muggle so he assumed that her mother was a witch. Sean wondered how that would be like, his parents were both Muggles and had no idea this world existed up until now. His parents worked a lot so weren't home very often or at least not to spend time with him, which he understood they weren't the richest of families. He smiled gently at Opeila, he was getting comfortable around her and so seemed more genuine with his friendliness. "You are probably right. Why did he try to hide it ? If I'm not being intrusive" Sean was curious and wanted to find out more about this mysterious girl he had just met.
