Sweet Treats and Sweet Times
Kara saw the poster that showed that there was an errand for decorating some pastries, and she was interested in participating. She accepted and had then went out to find some other people to do it with. She had found two people, both first years, like herself.Doing an errand with @Misty Wade and @August Winslow
The first one she had found was a Slytherin girl named Misty Wade. She had black hair and green eyes, so she would be able to recognize her, for most of her friends had either blonde or brown hair.
The other one she found was a Ravenclaw boy named August Winslow. He had thin brown hair and his eyes changed color depending on the lighting. He would be a little harder to find in a crowd, but she could manage.
Kara was carrying some pastries to the Slytherin table in many trips, where she had some cookies already. Kara right now was carrying some cupcakes and was going to go back to grab the mini cakes and the marzipans, but of course, she had so many, so her, Misty, and August were going to be pretty busy.
She arrived to the Great Hall where a few other people were decorating desserts. She smiled, noticing that the Great Hall wasn't that crowded now, which would mean that Misty and August would be able to notice her at the end of the Slytherin table nearest to the Professor's table.
She placed down the many trays, plates, and platters of cupcakes onto the table and then ran back to her stash of sweets. She wondered if she could just make some of the plates follow her with the Levitating charm.
"Windardium Leviosa." She said, making a swish and flick of her wand, one of the plates with cupcakes floating now, lightening the load of her array of cupcakes. For her cupcakes, she had vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.
She left with the plates and trays, making sure the plate that was levitating would not fall or tip. She arrived and after a few trips back and forth, she had everything prepared.
She looked at her watch and saw that the time was 1:55, and she met with Misty and August at 2:00. She had all the frosting, sprinkles, and other decoration, including the edible paint for the marzipans. Kara waited patiently, sitting there, ready to get started on decorating.

Sweet Treats and Sweet Times
Misty had been pleasantly surprised when she was approached by another Slytherin first year named Kara, who wanted to do an errand involving decorating desserts. She had almost denied her request to join her, but didn't want to ruin a potential friendship. Now she was lurking outside the great hall. Kara had told her to arrive at 2:00. She still had about three minutes to try and sooth her nerves. She was certain she would make a fool of herself. She couldn't remember the last time she decorated pastries. She had never taken an interest in that sort of thing. She never used frosting on anything as she found it overly sweet. Hers would probably look like a mess. She hoped Kara wasn't too serious about decorating. She moved so she had a line of vision into the hall.
There weren't many people in the hall. Many of the people in the hall were decorating, but she was able to spot Kara fairly quickly. She was sitting at the Slytherin table, and spread around her were various pastries and decorating supplies. She knew Kara had invited more people than just her, but she didn't see anyone else yet. She hoped there wouldn't be that many people who joined them. Misty didn't do well at all with too many people. It seemed like there was no avoiding being the first one to join Kara. Taking a deep breath, she entered the hall. She could smell the baked goods coming from all sides, it wasn't unpleasant, it was just a bit overwhelming. She made her way over to the end of the Slytherin table to greet Kara. Drawing all her confidence, she sat across from Kara and spoke,
"Hi Kara. Thanks for inviting me. Hope you don't mind my lack of experience. Did you find anyone else to help?" Now that she was closer she could see just how many pastries, Kara had brought. They would definitely need another person to complete these. Smiling at Kara, she continued to examine the different trays and plates.

@@@Misty Wade@
Kara was still waiting patiently for her friends to arrive, and she saw Misty nearing her. She waved at her as Misty was close to her.
"Hi Kara. Thanks for inviting me. Hope you don't mind my lack of experience. Did you find anyone else to help?" Misty said, sitting across from her now.
"Don't worry! I usually would decorate desserts with my family on the holidays, but I'm not much of a professional myself. And yes, one other person is coming, he is a first year Ravenclaw named August Winslow. He's not here yet though, but we can still start." Kara said.
She moved to sit beside Misty and grabbed a plate, some frosting tubes, some glittery sprinkles, and a cupcake that was pink because it was strawberry, and started to frost it, trying her best to make it look perfect. The frosting she had taken was pink and the frosting on the cupcake looked like a little swirl of sugar.
She took a pinch of the silvery glitter sprinkles and then sprinkled the glittery sprinkles across the sugary hill she had made on the strawberry cupcake. She then proceeded to grab a cherry and place it on top.
She grabbed some red, green, and black fondant and then made a little strawberry and placed it in front of the cherry. The cupcake looked very pretty and she smiled at her work. She showed her cupcake to Misty and smiled.
"There! One down, many to go." She said, looking at all the sweets she had brought.

Sweet Treats and Sweet Times
Misty started to relax into the situation. Kara seemed nice, and it seemed that it would just be them and one other person. She couldn't remember any Ravenclaw named August Winslow, but perhaps she would recognize him. She had arrived a few minutes early, after all. As she was getting settled, she watched Kara start on a strawberry cupcake. Once she finished, Kara presented the cupcake to her and said,
"There! One down, many to go." It looked good, especially for how quickly Kara had completed it. It inspired Misty to try her hand at starting her first one. She decided to start out simple, grabbing a cookie and spreading a moderately thick layer of white frosting on it. She smoothed it out and removed the excess with a spatula before deciding what icing to add in a design on top of it. It was even enough that she would be able to create a basic design on top of it, but it looked far from professional. She decided to make a simple border around the edge of the circular cookie. She grabbed an icing tube containing a soft blue frosting, and carefully placed dots of icing along the edges, trying her best to swirl the tops of each spot. Even with the addition, it still looked rather plain. She decided to add another circle inside of the one she had just created, this time she grabbed a darker shade of blue and alternated each dot with a darker one. She spotted a container of fruit and placed a blackberry in the center. Finished!, Misty thought, rather pleased with the outcome. She went on to do a few more in that style, with different colours. She used shades of green, purple and pink, red and orange, and alternated the blackberry for a raspberry in the center. Once she had finished her series of cookies, she set them aside, and turned to some of the mini cakes. She was surprised with how much fun she was having. It probably had something to do with that she had made sure to get her restless energy out earlier with a long run. Now she was ready to be decorating for a while, and judging by the amount of desserts Kara had picked up, it would take quite a bit of time. She hoped August would show up to help soon.
