A few weeks ago I was hit with, all around the same time, bronchitis, flu a and pneumonia.

I just wanna say that wasn't fun at all. I have never wanted to sleep as much as I did then.

This new variant of the flu is awful. I haven't had it, but it's putting a lot of people in hospitals where I live. (My classmate's father had it and nearly had to be hospitalized. Thankfully as far as I know he is better now). Wow. I just put on fake nails for my winter formal and I haven't worn fake nails in about 7+ years, so this is hard to type.

Lwk real af. I haven't gone to a doctor yet I just have really bad stomach pain and nausea and a pounding headache my throat is hoarse too 😫 (granted I do talk a lot and have shit sleep even with medication)

The worst part of having all 3 was that I was literally heaving my meals almost instantly afterwards. I felt weak. I was unable to stay awake. I was unable to keep food down. It hurt sitting up, it hurt laying down. My lower back was so sore. If I laid down I ended up having to get up to puke. But it wans't just puking. I was literally coughing nonstop like I was having an asthma attack. I looked like I had double black eyes and my eyes were bloodshot too.

that sounds horrendous

I'm not sick now, all I learned is I'm getting the bloody shot this year I ditched it last year thinking it wasn't going to be bad or anything

I haven’t had the shot since I was a baby (for reasons I’m not comfortable saying outside of owls) and somehow have never had the flu and I’m doing all I can to stay away from it.

The only two ways I would've caught the flu would've had to have been either my brother bringing it home from his classmates... or someone was sick at my graduation.
