She grew up in a small third-floor flat in North London where the background to her childhood was filled with traffic sounds, neighbors' televisions, and rain on the windows. Sharp, quick city English served for everything from arguments to bedtime stories. Nothing in her early years hinted at the existence of the wizarding world, much less that she would ever be part of it. Danielle's primary school had cracked playground tarmac and slightly crooked library shelves, but she loved it because of the books. In class, she was a quiet girl who finished her English assignments early and wrote much more than the word limit, after which she would stare out the window during math as if there were something of importance happening in the clouds. She read mystery novels, adventure stories, and any book that promised secrets or hidden societies. She tucked a battered notebook into her backpack to rewrite endings that disappointed her. Teachers described her as "bright but distracted," while her parents worried that she was spending too much time in her own head, always dreaming of other worlds.Danielle always been a fan of the books and never knew magic existed till her 11th b-day. Everything changed the summer she turned eleven. One afternoon, the doorbell rang and a stranger in a long, rain-dark coat appeared at their doorstep. The visitor introduced themselves as a professor from a boarding school in England. They asked if they could come in, saying that what they were about to say would sound unbelievable if shouted up a London stairwell. At the small kitchen table, the professor pushed an envelope across to Danielle, inviting her to open it. Inside was a letter on thick parchment bearing the crest of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It informed her that she had been accepted as a first-year student and included a list of required books and equipment. Her father tried to laugh it off until the professor calmly drew a wand from their coat. They made the sugar bowl lift gently into the air, tip over each teacup, and then return to the table without spilling a grain. In that moment, the unsaid explanation for all of Danielle’s strange experiences became clear: she was a witch—specifically, a Muggle-born witch, with no known magical family behind her. The conversation that followed was long and exhausting. Her parents demanded to know whether this school taught normal subjects, whether their daughter would be safe, and how they were supposed to send her off to some castle they had never seen. The professor explained the basics: Hogwarts was hidden in England, the term started on 1 September; there was a special train from a hidden platform at King’s Cross Station, Muggle parents could see their children off and then talk with them by letter, carried by owls. They also described how Muggle‑born children were always visited in person by a school representative, precisely so families would not think the letter was a cruel joke. By the time the professor left, Danielle’s parents were still anxious but agreed to it. |

At eight years old, Danielle had her first magical incident that took place during a busy school trip to the Zoo. The visitors in her class had been herded through the Reptile House, a historic hall that is mostly dark as the visitors walk in darkness with bright enclosures of snakes and lizards glowing around them. The teachers were preoccupied with counting heads and reading the information boards while the children stood tightly packed against the glass, squealing and fogging it up with their breath. While this was going on, Danielle’s closest friend slipped on the smooth floor and stumbled towards the low fence bordering one of the snake pits, moving too quickly for any adult to react.
Danielle’s hand shot out in horror as she screamed out her friend’s name. At that precise moment, the laces on her friend’s trainers snapped open and twisted together, yanking her feet out from under her and sending her crashing backward onto the safe path instead of forward into the enclosure. Uncontrollable laughter erupted from her, due to the surprise of seeing a huge object. The rest of the class too laughed at it, considering it to be an accident due to luck. Someone ought to teach the teachers how to tie proper knots, they joked. The only one who stayed quiet was Danielle, as her heart raced over and over as to why the lace could only come undone when she screamed. At 11 years, the Hogwarts letter arrived, and she finally understood it was all her magic all along.

PERSONALITY.
Danielle Kim Angeles has the kind of presence that feels calm at first glance and intense once you actually look at her. On the surface, she seems quiet, even a bit distant, watching people more than she talks, but underneath, there is a sharp, fearless core that comes out whenever she is challenged. She thinks quickly, makes decisions swiftly, and dislikes appearing weak, so she keeps her guard up in most situations, especially around people she doesn't trust yet. In class or in a duel, she can switch in a second from reserved to fierce, like flipping on a spotlight; that “on‑stage” version of Danielle is confident, witty, and almost intimidating, the Gryffindor side that runs straight into the fire instead of backing away.
It ensures that the work environment is safe for everyone.
Danielle softens quite a lot around people she loves, and close friends know she is actually very affectionate and easily moved; she just rarely shows that side in public. She does not cry often, but when someone she cares about is hurt or upset, her empathy hits hard and she feels their feelings as if they were her own. She can be stubborn, competitive, and a tiny bit prideful, always wanting to prove herself, and is thoughtful of her image and style, liking to look put‑together in a way that matches who she feels she is inside. Overall, Danielle is a classic Gryffindor “it‑girl investigator”: cool and composed from afar, playful and loyal up close, and absolutely ablaze once it is time to stand up for something that counts.[/color][/i]’

Danielle enjoys reading mystery and thriller novels, especially those featuring clever detectives or courtroom drama, as it fuels her love of secrets and problem-solving. She also loves swimming and playing throwball during her free time. She enjoys late‑night conversations in the Gryffindor common room, sitting by the fire and debating myths, school gossip, or magical theories with people she trusts. As a Muggle‑born, she is also quietly fascinated by Muggle technology—phones, laptops, games—seeing them as a different kind of “non‑wand magic,” and she loves comparing how both worlds solve problems in totally different ways. She also loved singing and spent 4 years in professional training in London in the state's choir and performed in many local shows and competitions before Hogwarts.
Dislikes
Danielle dislikes people who look down on Muggle‑borns or act superior because of blood status; nothing makes her angrier than casual prejudice or bullying. She strongly dislikes being underestimated or treated like a helpless first year, especially when adults dismiss her questions or refuse to tell her the full truth “for her own good.” She also hates loud, pointless chaos—like Peeves‑style pranks, mess for no reason, or crowds that make it impossible to think—because it makes her feel out of control and unable to focus on what really matters
