MOD POST - GROUP 13
At a closer look towards the paintings, @Tatiana Contraire would notice that the painting with the woman was almost off. Maybe a bit skewed, or loose on the wall as if it was meant to be taken from there. Then again, it seemed the most unsettling of the paintings as well, and it somehow fit quite nicely with the atmosphere around and the "imagery" that was made out of this game.

Meanwhile, @Sere Nade seemed to have her gaze caught by the books instead. It didn't seem to be linked to the paintings as they were though, and the books (as dusty and old as they looked) hardly needed any repairing. That being said, the wand cooperated with Sere Nade and Papyrus Reparo was successfully cast. But at most it repaired some of the more "roughened up" corners of the books and made them not look as brittle as before. It did little to change other things.

The best bet was to try to figure out what was needed in this context now. The odd painting could be moved, and the books could be checked out as well. The clock was broken, so that must have been for a reason too. The shell basket didn't seem to be there randomly either. So it must be somehow linked, right?

I apologize so much for leaving this without any mod post for now, I don't know how that happened other than last I checked I thought I needed to do a mod post and then I overlooked it and forgot. Once more, sincere apologies for this, I will keep on top of things for this now, and once a week passes from this post, if 2 or more people posted I will keep with the mod posts, there is no rush on things though!

"Papyrus Reparo!" Sere pointed her wand at the old books in front of her. It was a bad decision as she was sure her spell had casted well, but nothing happened to the books. Sere sighed, "I guess I made a mistake." Sere put her wand down, examining the books once again, making sure she hadn't missed anything. She skimmed through it, trying to remember as many as of the titles and authors as she could.

Shifting her attention away from the books, Sere said to the others, "Did you all find anything?" It felt more quiet than before. She wondered what her groupmates were thinking. @Evony Senoj, @Alliasta Holista, @Shelowyn Bloomthorn, @Aisling Doyle, @Kafelé Kahotep

Turning around, she found Tatiana having a staring contest with the painting. She walked over to the girl, passing the broken clock again. If nobody's thinking about fixing it, I'll do it after this, but for now... The Gryffindor gathered her courage and approached the painting with the woman perched on a rock. She chose not to stare back, ignoring the gaze that was directed straight at her. There had to be a reason why this painting looked like it had been designed to keep everyone away. Maybe there were clues around it, or behind it. Sere peeked at the sides of the frame and realized it was about to off the wall.

"Hey, I'm taking this off..." @Tatiana Contraire Sere said to Tatiana and pulled the painting off the wall in one motion.
