New Face New Feelings

The holidays were over, and they were back at school. Lenora realized she had really missed school. She was still surprised that she hadn't adjusted at all in the beginning.

Lenora looked out the window as she unpacked her belongings in the Hufflepuff dormitory. It was a beautiful day to go outside. The sky was cloudy, and the sun was out of sight. Thinking it was a good opportunity, Lenora grabbed her bag and left the dormitory.

When she finally stepped outside, she felt her face flush as the cold hit her. Her skin was so pale and lifeless that her body reacted suddenly to abrupt hot or cold conditions.

The courtyard was truly as if covered in a pristine white blanket. Lenora immediately pulled a cloth from her bag, spread it in front of the fountain, and sat down. It helped a little with the cold. She placed her bag beside her and took out her sketchbook

She took out her pencils and began to draw. As she drew, Lenora squinted and brought the notebook closer. She was so focused that she didn't notice her white hair falling in front of her face. Someone looking from the outside might have thought she was trying to disappear into the snow.

Ales was roaming around the school trying to find something interesting to do. He was bored. The defense against the dark arts homework was done, which he aced easily. Alex was looking for some kind of adventure. Something that might challenge his current knowledge and inspire him to learn more, or someone to talk to and connect with. Someone he could befriend. He walked through the corridors, the Great Hall, and landed in the Courtyard. The cold air hit his face, and he sneezed. He quickly tightened the scarf around his neck and rubbed his hands. He looked around to find someone or something to do.

Alex looked around to find nothing but the while pale water-fountain in the center of the Courtyard. He was about to leave when he noticed more carefully, and he saw hairs. He realised that a girl was sitting beside the water fountain with white hair and pale white skin. Alex decided to walk over and see what she was doing. He walked over and saw that she was drawing something. She was so white that she was almost invisible in the snow. Alex walked over and leaned just enough to see her drawing.

She was too focused to even notice that Alex was standing there looking at her drawing. She was doing some very complex strokes with her pencil when Alex plurted out withou think,"Damn!! You are good at this." Alex quickly added, thinking he might have caught off guard, "I am Alex. I was roaming around when I saw you and your drawing. Your focus!! God!! It was like you don't give a damn about the world. And, your drawing seem cool. Can I see some?" Alex put forward his hand to take the copy.
