wooooooowwwww this is sooooo well written!!!!!!!!!!!Graci Laren wrote: 5 Jan 2026, 20:34 would anyone be willing to look at some unfinished backstory I wrote? here, if you do<3
i have a couple small notes, but theyre mainly minor grammatical things. mostly commas. BUT! the backstory itself is awesome and if/when you create this character, itll be so fascinating to read why her parents lefttttttttttttttttt (if that lore ever comes up hehe)
in the second 'tears from an owl: the hatchlings fall from grace' paragraph (like right next to the owl graphic right at the top. the summary one), there should probably not be a comma after 'simply a real one'
okay i was also pretty confused when you called her rhea for the first time. its an adorable nickname, but with the spelling of her actual name, i got a little mixed up. maybe put in parentheses next to her real name what the nickname is? or a sentence somewhere about the origin of the nickname?
in the sentence introducing the coromines for the first time, maybe try replacing the commas surrounding 'albeit rowdy' with these line thingys –
in the paragraph starting with the word england, try taking out the repeat of england after the word suffolk since the country has already been stated
in the sentence mentioning her fathers liking of defence against the dark arts, try removing the comma from in between 'rarely working' and 'in that respect'
in the first sentence of the 'tears of an owl: death of a raven' section', the first a in august should be capitalised
in that same sentence, there should not be a comma in between 'believed to be a dark spell' and 'or something undetectable....'
It simply isn’t an adventure worth telling if there aren’t any dragons.

her nickname is cute, just a clarification might help, thats all!!
