Erik laughed at the scene unfolding in front of him. This is fun isn't it?! Aren't you all enjoying this? He was too occupied with the chaos he had created to listen what his fellow housemates were saying to him. Suddenly Emerly seemed to look for shelter as spells started to fly around. Coward!, was all Erik could mutter as the youngest Huffle threw a spell his way. He was too slow to evade the spell and it hit him good. He now saw green sparks all around him. Unleashing a beastly growl that had formed in the back of his throath from the Slytherin in more annoyance then anger. With his hands formed into fists he rubbed his eyes in a futile attempt to rub said sparks away from his sight, but it seemed to have an opposite effect.

Damn it! Seems like I'll have to go on scent and hearing than. No matter they still are no where near a challenge. This might spice things up. This is where it could get really interesting. As the playing field seemed more leveled., the werewolf thought to himself. That's when Andrew seemed to step in. He made some speech that's for sure, but Erik was too annoyed to really listen to him. Look either you help out or get out. I have no use for cowards. That counts for you too! Erik turned his head towards where Emerly had ducked for cover. Not waiting for Andrew's response the werewolf just aimed his blackthorn wand at were Andrew was and spoke: Obscuro! Hoping he would catch one of the Huffles, but he didn't mind if Andrew got caught in the crossfire.

Donny watched as everything happened so quickly. Spells were flying faster than the slugs that shot out from his mouth, and onto the floor. Jack was down, and Donny was still down. Donny stood up, wobbling a little bit. He had to do something. He ran at the water bucket buy who'd casted flipendo at Jack. He ran with great speed, and then-BLURAGH!

Slugs ejected from his mouth to the boy's slytherin robes almost instantly. He looked at him one last time, and then ran behind a table. Quickly grabbing for his wand he thought about what his next actions would be. Should he abandon ship, or try and recover and help Jack out. Besides, they still had each others backs, right? Without thinking anymore, and put the wand to his throat and whispered,

"Finite Incantatem"

There was a great lifting from his body, and he no urge to projectile vomit slugs any longer. He ran out from behind the table, wand in hand. He saw Jack sprawled on the floor. He went to him. "Jack! A-are you okay?" he asked urgently, but there was no time. He grabbed him by his armpits, and dragged him behind another table, keeping him covered. He threw back his head and looked straight at the blonde boy. Anger and adrenaline rushed through him, and there was no stopping him now.

"Expelliarmus!" he announced. "It's time to do this the muggle way don't you think?" he said, throwing his fist right into the flesh of the slytherins face.

Strangely, a single thought crossed his mind, as he flipped backward. Jack had not expected such a quick reaction from the Slytherin boys. Let's be honest, the young Hufflepuff wasn't the next Einstien. If he was, Jack would have most definitely have backed out of the little spat once he saw the group of green across from him. Alas as he flew through the air, all the could think about was punching the one jerk who had decided to blatantly defend the blood purist(Erik) asshat. Finally, the gravity caught up with him. With a loud crash and groan, Jack had ended his exploration of the air. He was no longer Major Tom, and back to being Ground Control. However, there was no control, just a heap of sprawling limbs and a slight anger management issue.

Thankfully, Jack wasn't on the ground for too long. His older friend and fighting ally had already grabbed him by the crook of his elbow and was now leading him back to his feet. "I'm fine, Don. Let's teach these arses a lesson." Fire welled his eyes as he looked at Andrew. "Mr. Flipy over there is mine." He growled as Jack cracked his knuckles. With a nod, Jack pulled into a full-on dead sprint at his adversary. Unfortunately, Jack had lost hold of his wand and left it laying on the ground away from the magical spat. Punching sounds like the right idea. His magical ability might be lacking a bit, so running fast and hitting hard would have to make due.

His attempt to “save” Erik from the brunt of Jack’s spell failed. Erik was hit, and a burst of green sparks illuminated the room, blinding Andrew in close proximity with the intense flash of light. Instinctively, Andrew squeezed his eyes shut, Erik’s maniacal laughter and ridiculing remarks ringing in his ears. Andrew bit his tongue to suppress himself from snapping back at Erik. His own Housemate was proving to be more of a nuisance than the two Hufflepuffs.

In his fumbling state of disorientation, a projectile of slugs (courtesy of Donny) landed square on Andrew’s robes, catching the Slytherin off guard as he felt the slime trickle down his hands. He barely had time to blink away the ebbing effect of the Green Sparks when the next thing he felt was a fist (specifically Jack’s fist) connecting with his jaw.

Andrew stumbled back from the impact, and found himself lying flat on the ground, head swimming in percussion from the blunt force. Stunned, he rolled over to one side, tasting a trickle of metal in his mouth, and touched a hand to his face, down to his broken lips, to find his fingers stained with blood. There was no pain, he felt.. Not at first. Fortunately, his teeth were still intact.

Perhaps the blow had hit him so hard, it altered his mindset and knocked out any sense of morality the Slytherin once held. In an instant, Andrew’s demeanor changed. His glare hardened, the adrenaline swept over him, the red anger meter shot up and exploded from his internal thermometer. Cornered animals eventually reach their breaking point and lash out, and Andrew was no longer going to play on the side of helpless and defensive against Jack’s outright attack.

That… was so uncalled for.

Fine. Andrew narrowed his eyes at Jack, after lying on the floor for a suspenseful few seconds. You want it. You'll have it.

Luckily, Andrew hadn't lost grip on his wand when he fell. His fingers tightened around the handle, and only one verdict raged through his mind as he whipped out the chestnut-colored shaft of wood, pointing it in the direction of Jack’s picture-perfect face.

Blood for blood.

"Diffindo!" Andrew uttered, aiming to pour as much wrath and emotion as he could for the spell to deal the maximum hurt possible.

He knew what the Severing Charm was used for, that it could cut through fabric as well as flesh. Sinisterly, Andrew hoped his cast would be enough to draw blood. Just a little. Just to startle Jack… To get him to back down.

To Erik's dismay, he hadn't been able to blind any of the Huffles. Not even close it seemed as he didn't hear any of his advisaries struggle with a blindfold. Blast it all!, he cursed. He was getting worked up. Further away from the Huffle camp, he heard a conversation between the two of them going on, but he didn't catch everything they were talking about. What he did know however was that they were regrouping. The Slytherin wouldn't stand for that.

As Erik heard about the incantation leaving Dony's lips, he tensed and before he knew it, his blackthorn wand flew out of his hands somewhere around the room. It would be pretty hard to find that one later on. Suddenly his ears perked up as he heard some feet towards him. Fast. Too late had he noticed it as Donnovan's fist collided with his jaw, causing him to lose his footing and fall backwards. Only barely he managed to hold on to one of the desks to restore his balance. He tasted the metallic taste of blood in his mouth as his lip was ripped. The werewolf smacked his fists on the desk. Infuriated that this measly Huffle had dared to hit him. A bloodthirsty roar that would put the hairs on your neck upright left his lips as he almost unnaturally fast turned around. Erik followed up by aiming his left fist at Donovan's face. Quickly jabbing with his right at his kidney.

Donny was quick to notice the Slytherins reflexes, but was slow in his actions. It was shocking. He'd shoved his fist firmly on the slytherins face. It felt good. Reliving almost. But it was then, when it all sank in, that some other form sank into his cheek-and then his gut. It was sharp, but he was tense enough to avoid pain in the gut. His face however, swelled, just under his eye. He then snapped back into action. He jumped onto the slytherin, his right hand on his throat, and his left holding down his arm.

He then slipped his fist again onto the slytherins face. Multiple times. He just kept going, it was almost pitiful. Then he heard a scream, a blast and a thump. Jack was down, and hovering over him was the bucket-head boy, his wand drawn at the scene. He was slow to notice that there was blood. Lots of blood. Donny looked down at the blonde slytherin, his face plump and turning blue. He released, unwillingly jumping off, and pacing towards the other boy. His heart was going faster and faster each second. His adrenaline was real. He hadn't felt this way since last year. With Kaegen Deathmote. But this was different. Jack needed help.

He pointed his wand at bucket-head. "Obscuro!" he yelled. The blast coming out of then end. He didn't wait to see if it landed, but he rushed forward towards Jack, aggressively tossing the other boy out of his way. He knelt down and held Jack, blood seeping all over. He really did have blood on his hands now. "This has to stop!" he thought to himself. He held his robe over the cuts on Jack's face, trying to clot them the best he could. Eyeing the slytherin boys, he knew things were getting worse by the second...

Emerly had been blown back, yes, somewhat in fear, by the unfolding battle and was watching it unfold as he melted into the crowd. He had only a dropped jaw to give in response to Erik's accusations of not being brave enough... however, Emerly's mouth quickly snapped shut upon seeing Andrew, someone he, after meeting, seemed much too friendly and kind to even remotely fit the Slytherin norm, unleash a spell Emerly was unsure was even allowed to be used by students that seemed to wound one of the Hufflepuffs, Jack it seemed. The resulting whoops amid the cries of concern among the watching students irritated Emerly to no end... why were some people amused watching people in pain? Emerly's grey eyes took on a solemn, dangerous expression, as if he had caught a younger sibling playing with fire, and he quickly strode over to Andrew, barely noticing even Erik growl and leap onto one of the Hufflepuffs.
Observing for a moment his housemates with an expression of tired disappointment and disapproval on his face, Emerly brought his wand out of his robe, "So help me..." he murmured, and recited a single word over the din of confused fear that broke out in the crowd of bystanding students at Erik and Jack's wound.
"Periculum!"
With it he rose his wand into the air like a flag, free hand bringing up his robes and and turning his face aside and closing his eyes to shield them from the flying phoenix of a red signal that would blast up from it and hopefully give everyone enough time in recovering from the flash to calm down. He put everything he had into that one spell, all the irritation and sadness over everyone getting needlessly hurt... would it go through? Would he have enough time to try and talk sense into everyone there? He could only hope so...

Actions: Recites Periculum in hopes of distracting everyone with the flash

There was something so oddly satisfying about when your fist connected with somebody else's face. Humans are not made for punching, without a doubt, however, we fight one another anyways. Jack's body was flooded with adrenaline as his attack connected! In his mind, he could remember it in slow motion. The cracking of his knuckles against Andrew's face. The dull thud that rocked his elbow, and finally the sound of Andrew hitting the floor.

Everything else had quickly faded into the fog of war. Jack's one-track mind was solely focused on Andrew Vance. He stood over the Slytherin boy, like a prizefighter. A crazed look slowly filled his eyes as things quickly escalated. Jack had a bad habit of losing himself in a fight. The line of too far was blurred, and he was ready to cross it.

How the turns can table. Jack had been much too preoccupied reveling in knocking Andrew to the ground to even notice Andrew's chestnut wand pointed menacingly at his face. The incantation was a shock on Jack's ears. Diffindo? What spell was that again? That was the last thought he had before a searing pain cut across his face. He now remembered the use of the spell Diffindo.

The cut was a nasty one, to say the least. Jack had not even attempted to dodge out of the way of the spell. Somehow Andrew had managed to cut open diagonally across Jack's face. It had found its way through his eyes and across his nose, and ended an inch or two above his lip. The spell had split his skin much like a knife through butter, or scissors through paper. His vision was turning red as blood trickled from the wound into his left eye. He only stayed standing for a moment, in shock, before dropping to the ground. His hands covered his face but the sounds of cursing and angry sputtering were clearly audible. There was only so much the boy could do not to writhe around in pain.

Times of stress create good friends. Jack knew the minute that Donny had stopped fighting Erik to help him, that he had found a good friend to rely on. The pressure of Donnovan's robe against his face only made the wound more irritated, but Jack still had the state of mind to understand that this was probably the most important thing to do at the moment.

A blinding red quickly mixed with the maroon red of his blood as a giant Red flare lit the room. Had a professor finally walked in on them? Who had finally stepped in? Delirium had kicked in and was quickly making the boy more confused than ever.

Action: Jack takes the diffindo like a Champ, falls to the ground, writhes in pain and curses up a storm

He didn't know whether to feel proud or horrified of his handiwork, glimpsing the bright red gash across Jack's face before the Hufflepuff whipped his back to him with an agonized scream. Andrew scrambled to his feet, barely registering the fight with Donny and Erik that was occurring in another part of the room. He stood, wand gripped in his hand, and stared at Jack, not making any advance towards him. At first it was pulsating anger, anticipating Jack's next move, which quickly dissipated into shock and fear, realizing he might have caused some serious damage to his opponent.

Several startled yelps and gasps rippled from the group of bystanders who witnessed Andrew's attack, quieting the whole room in an instant. All eyes were drawn to the source of the blood that spattered onto the floor… And the one who had caused it. Andrew could feel the stares of the crowd boring holes through him, suddenly thrust into the interrogation light as if he was some sort of criminal. At that moment he wanted to run, to escape the room… But his legs wouldn't move. Instead they were frozen, rooting him to the spot. And why should he flee? He didn't do anything wrong, his mind justified, even as panic and dread welled within him. How was he going to explain himself to the professors when they found out?

Standing petrified, he overheard Donny's Obscuro and the blindfold enveloped his eyes, rendering him unable to avoid being shoved roughly to the side by Donny, who rushed over to help Jack console his wounds. Andrew kept a firm grip on his wand, not struggling too much against the tightly-wrapped cloth which would conveniently shield his eyes from Emerly's Periculum that lit up the room with a red flash. Eventually, the spell would wear off and once the blindfold fell away, he'd watch the two Hufflepuffs, trying their best to soak up the blood on Jack's face. As much as Andrew felt compelled to help Jack - preferably to the Hospital Wing - he stood back numbly, refraining himself from showing sympathy to the one who had busted his lip just moments ago.

It was his fault… It was his fault… He started it…

Although Andrew's stance was defiant, his eyes betrayed his remorse. But unless if Jack was dying… No, he shouldn't help them.
