As Aquarius wondered through Hogwarts she was tired. She really wanted to go outside, but she knew the professors wouldn't let her. So she thought of the second best thing. The library.
Aquarius then took a deep breath as she walked through the Library doors.
"Ah, feels just like mom described it." She then seeked more into the library, she found out a book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them Whoa! Aquarius thought. She then took the book onto a library table and sat down. When she was starting to read the book she noticed lots of scratch marks. whoa.. Aquarius thought in amusement. She then seen people from different houses walk in. "H-hi..." Aquarius said trying to be noticed. N-never mind.. She thought turning back to her book, not noticing that someone had indeed notice her. Aquarius then took a look in the beginning of the book and it had a signature Harry Potter
"H-HARRY POTTER!?" Aquarius accidently said out loud. She then decided to walk with a book in her hand. She then bumped into someone.
"Oh my! I'm so sorry!" She said to the person. As she noticed that the other person was a Slytherin.
Maybe I could interact with this person! She thought.
"H-hi! I'm Aquarius! I-its nice to meet you!" Aquarius said with a smile.

After sulking near the doors, having not been allowed outside, Misty headed inside while thinking over her parents advice. She had finally written to them about what the sorting hat had told her. Misty had ignored the part of her that yearned for a purpose for too long. Now that the sorting hat and apparently the wand that chose her had told her of her potential, ambition had taken root in her. If only she had something to direct it at. Her parents somehow brought it back to friendship. As if they understood what life was like at Hogwarts now. Her mother went to a different Wizarding school and her father was busy dealing with being a muggleborn in Slytherin at the time. Misty wasn't completely socially isolated. She participated in activities with her house, and even was getting closer to some students from her year. She wished she could contact her uncle, but she knew that would be impossible. When he was in his right mind, he understood her best. She entered the library, heading towards her usual empty table when she heard a soft murmur.
"H-hi" Was she hearing things again? Her insides churned as she remembered the reaction of an older student when, after believing to have heard a greeting, Misty had confidently walked up to him, only to be shooed away. She took one step closer to the girl in Gryffindor robes, before the girl turned back to her book. Misty quickly stepped away, keeping her embarrassment to herself. Too bad, she thought, No friend making today I suppose. As she continued to try and put as much distance between herself and the other student, something hit her back.
"Oh my! I'm so sorry!" Misty spun around to see the same Gryffindor she had almost approached. Before she could make a quick response and run away, she spoke again, "H-hi! I'm Aquarius! I-its nice to meet you!" Misty took a breath, told herself to calm down and start over and said,
"Oh, uh, no problem. It's nice to meet you too Aquarius. I'm Misty. Misty Wade." She waited a moment, waiting for any sign of rejection before continuing. "What book do you have there?" She pointed at the scuffed up book Aquarius was clutching.

"Oh, uh, no problem. It's nice to meet you too Aquarius. I'm Misty. Misty Wade."
Misty said introducing herself.
"What book do you have there?" Aquarius then took notice that Misty was looking at her book.
" O-oh! This is Fantastic beasts and where to find them.I thought it was pretty interesting.." She said then flipping to the front page.
" But look here!" She said pointing at the place where Harry Potter had signed it.
Hm if it was his property....then why would he put it in the library...? Aquarius then thought. But with her hands shaking she asked,
" So what books are you interested into Misty?" She said with a smile hoping... Maybe we could be friends? Just because she is a Slytherin and i'm a Gryffindor doesn't mean we can't be friends! She then thought about what her father would say.
Right...? She also was thinking about what her mother would say.
She would say I should... So I will! At least if she wants to be friends to..
She then ignored her thoughts and focused on Misty. Hoping that Misty wouldn't give up on her even though they had just met; she hoped that unlike her family that had been spreaded apart and kept their distance away from Aquarius, that maybe Misty could be different.

"This is Fantastic beasts and where to find them. I thought it was pretty interesting..."

Misty had recognized the book, even though it was a worn down copy. Fantastic beasts and where to find them had been one of the first books Misty read to herself. The pictures made it easy to get through and she spent many days of her childhood outside pretending she was encountering the creatures described in the books like the author, Newt Scamander. Sometimes she would run up to her mother, who would listen as Misty raved about whatever new creature from the book she was obsessed with, and then would conjure a plush version of it for Misty to play with. Even though she was starting to get embarrassed by how many she now had, she still couldn't imagine getting rid of any of them. She had even brought her favorite, a small Manticore, though she hadn't taken it out of her trunk yet. She didn't want to seem too weird. She missed the casual displays of magic by her parents, but understood that they had to adjust their lives for her uncles's sake. Misty thought everyone had read fantastic beasts, but perhaps Aquarius wasn't from a magical household.
Aquarius was still talking, "But look here!" Misty leaned over to see what Aquarius was pointing at. Scrawled inside the front cover, was the name Harry Potter. Misty was sure her surprise was obvious on her face. Her immediate thought was that someone had probably just written the name in as a joke. What were the chances that the real Harry Potter had this book at some point? Misty didn't have a strong opinion on Harry Potter as a person, however she did have strong opinions about the Ministry. Even if Potter is guilty, he doesn't belong in an inhumane prison. Anyone who suffers as much trauma as he did has the right to treatment in a facility focused on healing and rehabilitation.
"So what books are you interested into Misty?" Misty felt relieved at being given time to talk. Aquarius had seemed like she could go on speaking for a long time.
"Well, I'm not exactly what you would call a book person, but my interests in books changes, depending on whatever I'm thinking about at the time. I usually like reading outside, it helps me concentrate. Right now I'm trying to look into political science. I have some, er, problems I'm trying to look for answers about..." Misty squirmed uncomfortably, she had said too much. Who knew what Aquarius's opinions on social issues were.

" What answers are you looking for..?" Aquarius had wondered as she was also looking for answers to. But answers on what made her mother sick and caused her to die. But she felt like she was talking to much, or asking to personal of questions. So she tried to stop herself. As she awaited a reply, she looked back into the book and wondered
Did a witch or wizard write this..? After all, Harry is with his family right now. I think. She thought as she looked back up at Misty with a smile as she looked around the library and sighed.
I wish I could go outside to...but how...? Maybe.. She thought to herself as she looked up at a window.
Hmm... She thought to herself in excitement and then looked back up at Misty and put her book in her left hand. And she then had picked up her wand that she forgot she had brought with her, in her right arm. She then was exited knowing that she had hopefully made a friend.
